Waste of time and money - do not use

Have had an issue with a built in ice maker since November. Bodewell diagnosed it as well as another company who Centricity sent as they didn’t trust the manufacturers own company. We’ve send videos, diagnoses from both numerous times. Still cannot get an approval for repair, no calls back, no emails back, no one coming out as promised. All lies, delays, deflection. They have no clue what’s going on. Will get the AG and insurance commission involved. Absolutely a joke of a company and waste of money / time.

Slow service while giving you the run around

*Update*
Centricity had a US based person call after my review and said they would get this claim taken care of immediately. It wasn't any faster than the multiple people I had talked to on their customer service line for the last week and few days. They also asked if I would update my review for this timely service. I said sure because I didn't want to compromise getting the service I needed. I now have vinyl floors and cabinets to fix from the leaky dishwasher. I wonder how many other positive reviews were people like myself who felt obligated so they could get what they need.

I submitted a claim last week that my dishwasher was leaking. We had it confirmed by a plumber it was a part and not plumbing so I escalated the ticket by uploading a video. Each time I talked to someone there was something different. First, they had seen the video and said they had contacted the appliance company for a replacement and it would take a few days. Then when I called back they needed me to send the bar code on the inside of the dishwasher. Fine. Then they needed me to upload the video because they hadn’t gotten it. Then it was too big so they needed me to send again. This morning, a full week later, they said their claims department was still working on it because it was under $800 and somehow that makes the claim more difficult and they wouldn’t have an answer for me till Wednesday this week. All the while it’s still leaking water and ruining the floor and cabinets in my kitchen.

It's crazy to me there's not some sort of emergency offering, even if carried a fee, for claims that involve something more time sensitive like a leak. I get not every appliance issue is an emergency (even if it feels like it to the customer) but at this point a replacement will happen two weeks after the initial incident and an unknown amounts of damage to my floors and cabinets. If the appliance company you're looking to buy from uses Centricity, look elsewhere.

Early January 2026 our Matag washer…

Early January 2026 our Matag washer went out. It was having issues in December 2025. I have spent hours (literally) on the phone trying to get help from Centricity....they keep giving us hoops to jump through. Each time we did the work they asked for. Today is 1/28/2026 and we still have not heard back from them. Weeks ago they said our washer was repaired to many times and they would write a check to us or to the appliance store. We had to go buy a new washer. Centricity does NOT call you to let you know updates. The customer service people are usually nice, but not always helpful.
This is my second time posting on Trustpilot concerning this washing machine. Status as of today;
I called customer service ; I was told that they are waiting for paperwork from the repair company on a repair that happened on Dec. 1st. I checked my calendar and there was NO repair done on that date. The customer service guy said he couldn't make a change on the notes by my clarifying things. I tried explaining things again and he still wouldn't change things or update the notes. He said he needed the appliance company's paperwork. (frustrating like heck.) So I hung up and called the appliance company. They reminded me that I had called them on Dec. 1st and told them the washer was possibly leaking water but, after going back into the laundry area, saw it was a plugged drain that wouldn't empty into the drain pipe because it was plugged with lint. So I told the appliance company we could fix that...and no one came out. The problem was not the washer - it was the drain. Which is why there was nothing on my calendar! It all made sense to me! So I called Centricity again and got another customer service person who was wonderful and actually understood the whole story, edited the notes and forwarded them to claims department for a final judgement and solution! So now its another waiting game. I will update again!
I have had to jump through too many hoops, spent hours on hold waiting for answers and have experienced exhausting frustration trying to get this issue solved. After all I have been though with Centricity, my recommendations would be to avoid this company if at all possible.
UPDATE 1/29/2026 Thank you, Centricity, for your reply. While the reply may sound good, it does not fix the issue at hand, it is actually evasive. Thus far "help" seems to be deliberately unhelpful. I actually want to raise the stars on this report with a positive solution. The door of opportunity is still open for this to happen, and we are waiting! I am hopeful that someone wonderful in Centricity will get ahold of this claim and do what they originally said - write us a check for what the Matag is worth. I will update when that happens! 2/11/2026 Update; Still no resolution. I have spoken to 4 customer service people who updated the records and they keep giving me another hoop to jump through. The last problem was from December 1st when I called the appliance repair and told them the laundry room had water in it so I thought it was the washing machine leaking. Turns out, it was the wall drain that was plugged with lint. NOT THE WASHER. No repair person came out. We fixed it by snaking the wall drain!!!!!!! I explained this to every customer service guy over the phone but still nothing was resolved!
The 3rd call guy said I needed to send a photo of the drain snake we purchased to clean out the wall!!!!!!! At this point the insanity was so clear to see I was just embarrassed for them! Customer service guy #3 hung up on me. I called back and got #4. This time I explained things calmly and just asked for a supervisor. Apparently all of the previous explanations were removed from the notes. After a wait, I finally got to speak to a supervisor. I was on hold again for about 20 minutes, and she then explained that she fixed the notes, and forwarded things to claims department. Since it had been almost 3 months, we had to purchase another washer. I asked her to put in a note for them to send the check to us. She explained that it would be useless for them to send the check to the appliance store since we already purchased the washer. (Did they plan it that way?) She said it would be a week to a week and one half before the claim is figured out. I will update. Again. What do you want to bet on them sending the check to the appliance store for us to purchase a replacement washer? If they send us the check, I will raise the stars! Even after all the frustration, exhaustion and insanity of this case! Contract # AY82507

One star is to many

One star is to many. Worst company ever. My story started Dec 11 2025. It is now Jan 27 2026. Freezer is still broken. They sent 1 repair man out, he said its a sealed system problem. It would be 2000 dollars to fix and he is not authorize to fix it. I called Centricity to update them on what repair man said, well thats when all the run around and lies started with Centricity. I call company daily. Every time I call they give me run around, anything not to fix it. Like I said every time I call they come up with a new excuse. Today's excuse was the best one yet. They said my policy is the kind that I have to take the refrigerator to authorized repair shop. WHAT!!!!! Number 1. I have spoken with them daily, not one time I was told that. Number 2. Who in the world can strap a refrigerator to their car and drive it somewhere. They ran out of excuses so they decided I had to transport to a repair shop. They will drain you mentally until ypu give up. Please listen to me and DO NOT use this company. Trust me I am trying to save you from the problems of dealing with them. I called the company I purchased from and they even said that Centricity is the absolute worse and they laughed out loud when I told them that Centricity told me I have to take it to repair shop. I can bet that they will respond to this review by saying unless you provide us with policy number or what ever other needs the ask for we can not help you. Well my friends, I call you daily. Im pretty sure you know my story and will continue to lie to me and give me more run around and excuses.

After 6 and a half months our claim is…

After 6 and a half months our claim is finally settled.
A big thank you to Kirk who was able to finally get the claim on our GE Washer settled to our satisfaction.
We said we would post a better review than the previous four reviews which were 1 Star reviews. If centricity had settled our claim months earlier I would have given a 4 or 5 star review but cannot give a 5 star review for a claim that took 6.5 months to settle. Kirk, you personally get 5 stars for getting it done. Thank you!

Follow-up on Centricity Performance

This is a follow-up to my December 27, 2025 review. I purchased a GE Café refrigerator in February 2025. After months of issues and repeated attempts to get support, my refrigerator was finally repaired on January 15, 2026, but not due to any effort by Centricity.
Centricity, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bankers Financial Corp, was unresponsive and ineffective. Despite my filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Florida and leaving a negative Yelp review for the retailer, Centricity did not resolve the issue. Instead, they assigned National Service Alliance, which subcontracted ATS Electronics. The ATS technician was unqualified, performed no meaningful diagnostics, misdiagnosed the issue as a blower fan, and ultimately stated the refrigerator could not be repaired.
After continued pressure from the retailer where I purchased the appliance, their customer service team arranged for a GE-authorized technician to visit. The GE technician conducted a thorough diagnostic using Bluetooth system access, identified a pinhole leak in a refrigerant joint line, and repaired it the same day. The refrigerator has been fully operational since January 15, 2026.
Notably, Centricity, Bankers Trust, and National Service Alliance closed the service ticket claiming the refrigerator was repaired before the actual repair occurred.
The contrast between an unqualified contractor and a highly trained GE technician was stark. Lesson learned: only purchase extended warranties directly from the original equipment manufacturer.

Avoid them, they will make everything difficult until you give up

Had I wrote this review in 2023 I would have given 4 stars, but not anymore. In 2023, they actually fixed my stove and apparently cared about their customers, but not anymore. I am incredibly thankful that my warranty with them is expiring later this year and I will never have to deal with their deceitful customer service agents again.

I filed a claim on my dishwasher in October of 2025. The local company the assigned scheduled an appointment and then never showed up and completely ghosted me. I log into Centricity's portal and see that the service request was cancelled. I call Centricity and at first they won't do anything because the issue has already been fixed, which is was not. After arguing with them they finally agreed; however, it is now 3 months later and they still have not sent anyone out.

Every time I call it is a different excuse. The latest is that now I have to send a video of the issue, the video I sent last week never made it. I emailed them the video today, but there systems are so terrible I did not get a confirmation email from them, so I am expecting more excuses when I call them tomorrow.

My recommendation is to avoid this company. Do not let them take your money and then give you the run around for months to actually fix something under warranty.

Declined a claim on my refrigerator…

Declined a claim on my refrigerator that they approved a repair to be done. Was told different stories why declined. Was told service company could use their parts, then told Centricity had to order parts. Some operators were very difficult to understand and was even hung up on. Would never use them again. Called many times, same run around.

Broken washing machine

Had a washing machine that was not working correctly. I am one that uses my washer every day, so it was important to me to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. I contacted Centricity and within a couple weeks, which probably would’ve been sooner ,due to my problem I was having getting certain videos sent through, they resolved the issue within a week or less. Very friendly representatives that I spoke to, and were efficient in getting me in contact with the people I needed to be with and got back to me quickly too. Was pleased with everything and now I have my new washer.

Before you read Centricity's BS rebuttal to try to save themselves.

1. Did I ever receive the call back? NOPE.

2. Did I receive the repair reports I asked for? NOPE.

3. Did they produce a policy document showing they do not provide reports to customers? NOPE.

Still waiting for that call back......still waiting for the repair reports I requested.... Still waiting for a policy document to show proof that you don't provide repair reports to customers....

On 12/31/2025, customer service spoke with Mr. Nguyen and advised that he needed to call the manufacturer GE to repair the compressor issue.

Mr. Nguyen stated that he contacted GE and was informed GE would charge for the diagnostic. We called GE to clarify. Mr. Nguyen would pay for the diagnostic and Centricity would reimburse.

Since the warranty is still under coverage, Mr. Nguyen can contact GE for further questions and concerns in-regards to the diagnostic.

Also, we will look into why Mr. Nguyen never received a call back.

DIAGNOSTIC:
Diagnosis is TECH DIAG: FOUND SEIZED COMPRESSOR, ACCESSVALVE AND REFRIGERANT.

VALVE. CLOGGED FILTER DRIER. FAULTY INVERTER BOARD AND POWER

CONTROL BOARD. FREON LEAK, WILL NEED FREON TO RECHARGE UNIT ALL

DUE TO NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR.

This unit has 5 yrs parts and labor for sealed system so they were referred to manufacturer for repairs.
