This website is a scam, really collaborative when you place an order and I actually paid 26 pound to send back for a refund on a coat that was like a piece of rag and would fit a doll (and I am a small lady). They are ignoring my emails and blocked me from their website. Absolute scammers PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH THIS WEBSITE, a big lesson learned from me

Please don’t get caught out as I did, as previous customers have said this is china based and not Cambridge, no refunds guaranteed and company ignoring my emails. This is a fraudulent company that has zero morals.

Like all other reviewers I wish I had looked up this company before ordering. They seemed to emulate House of Bruar with their advertisement showing pictures of tartan/check coats and jackets very similar to HofB’s. However, there is no connection as House of Bruar is an honest, bona fide company selling high quality goods. On advice I have asked that the goods be collected for a refund but so far had no response. Their email address “is unable to receive emails” and all correspondence seems to have been cut off, there is no phone number or other method of contact in their advertisement. Please be aware of using this company at all costs.

I am rating one star only because I can’t rate zero. This is not a UK company, this is a China scam. The coat I bought took three weeks to dispatch despite the website saying 3 days. I asked to cancel and they said they couldn’t as it was in final dispatch. I tracked it and continuously it had not been shipped. Customer services did everything to avoid a refund. What finally turned up was not a tailored coat but what can only be described as a cheap flannel shirt. I was offered 20% refund to keep it, however, I am now claiming with my bank as not fit for purpose.

The item I ordered took nearly a month to get to me. When it arrived it was a cheap nasty looking item of clothing. I wished to return the item to the supplier and as per the information on their website I contacted them to initiate a return. below is the information they sent to me Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We'd like to offer you two options to resolve your concerns:

Option 1: If you wish to return the product, please ensure that the product is returned to us in its original condition.

When returning the product, please provide us with the return tracking number or link for validation purposes.

We would like to remind you of our company policy, which states that we do not provide return labels or reimburse return shipping costs. The estimated return costs usually vary between £30–£40. In addition, any customs fees incurred during the return process are the responsibility of the sender (you). Please also note that we are not responsible for any loss of the package during transit. It can also take up to 4-5 weeks before you get a full refund.

Please note: When the package has not arrived successfully in good condition at our return address, we won’t issue a refund! You are 100% responsible for successfully sending the returned product(s) in good condition back to our warehouse. In case the package gets lost or damaged during the return shipping, you will be responsible for covering the damage.

Option 2: Keep the product with a partial refund of 10% and a 20% discount code on your next order. (most chosen option)

Though we do not offer any partial refunds, as a goodwill gesture, we can offer you an instant refund of 10% and provide you with a 20% discount code for your next purchase.

Please be informed that, since return shipping costs are very high and there is a high risk of damage to the product during the shipping process, we recommend that you return the product to us. Besides that, it also takes more than a month for the return and refund process. Due to all these reasons, 95% of our customers prefer option 2. Kindly confirm which option you want to take.

I questioned that their their returns policy is not stated clearly on their website. Their website gives the impression that they are a family business based in Holland when in fact their goods are sent from China. The eventually agreed a 30% refund and keep the item after alot of exchange of emails. As of today I have not received the agreed refund and the email has now returned a failure to send the message and states that it no longer exists. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE.

I have been trying to contact to arrange a refund & return what was described as a luxury dress Which it's NOT back.The material cheap & nasty the design print a cheap version of a print!

Advertised as a friendly family reliable company but have not see any evidence yet.
No replies to several emails.
Very disappointed & hope they see this & have a bit ofremorse & contact me

Ok so I think this is a Scamming company, DO NOT BUY anything from this company . unfortunately we did and they asked us to send returned items to China for £40 postage , there items are cheap made dangerous flammable materials and they are making out that they are selling good British clothing when it's from China and cheap nylons and other materials are being used . My disabled son and daughter ordered £400 worth of clothing from them and they don't have a lot of money but wanted to cheer each other up , well it's caused so much stress , this company should be closed down or looked into by trading standards , they then offered a 1/3rd refund which we never saw and they are not answering emails from us , please DO NOT buy from them , it's a nightmare ,they say they are in Cambridge and no address , pic of shop looking like expensive business with advertising British clothes but receiving them from China's cheaper market , I am in process of doing something about it , I have given them until today to refund the promised money or they will be reported !
UPDATE ALL! I found out this company is actually based in CHINA, they are scamming people and falsely stating that their business is in CAMBRIDGE UK , how are they getting off with this ? Not any more ,they will be getting checked out and shut down ! and good to refund all clients that have been scammed by them ! Terrible taking honest people's money like that for clothes if the cheapest quality I have ever seen ,I am happy to hear one reviewer got the bank involved , well done to you ,I will try that but wasn't sure if they could help .I would advise if people have time to report this company to the trading standards place ,the more the better to stop them in their tracks !

Sadly you have to give this company one star in order to write a review, I would give them -10 if I was able to!

I’ve had the same experience as everybody else horrendous clothing and even worse customer service .
They basically frighten you into keeping the item whilst refunding you just 20% of the product cost, suggesting that returning the product to China no less, not the UK as one would expect from their website, will be extortionate in postage and unlikely not reached them at all. You would then still be waiting up to 40 days for a refund perhaps indefinitely.

Not wanting to accept this, I contacted my bank and successfully won a Visa charge back. I have never done this before, but it was a really easy process and completed within a couple of working days.
I don’t have to return the clothes, but frankly, I wouldn’t use it as a dogs bed.

Item completely mis-sized. Way too small.
Replacement not as described.
Poor quality.
Returns service not as advertised.
I am still struggling to get a response from them despite several emails requesting details of returns procedure.

This company is a total scam. I would give no stars if it were possible. Returns are made to be impossible e.g.£30 - £40 for shipping plus unspecified customs charges. (I am guessing they must be in China). Then if the goods actually reach them, the refund process would take 4 -5 weeks. If you ever got one. I gave up trying to deal with them, so having spent £94.42 with them, in the end I got a refund from them of
£28.33. That is the maximum refund one would get having spent nearly £100. The clothes were unwearable and went into the recycling. Do not touch them.

This company purported to be British with an address in Cambridge.
The item I ordered came from china and was of appalling quality and bore little resemblance to the photo on the website.
The returns system is very expensive and they will not refund unless the package gets to them in china which I have only their word for.
Do not use them.

Avoid at all costs. This is a company based in the Netherlands and not in Cambridgeshire as the website suggests. Goods are of a very poor standard and the returns information provided upon emailing the address given on the website is not as stated on the website. Looks like I’ll lose my money if I try to return but feel very strongly about the deception. I will process a claim with my credit card company as this practice must be illegal.

Dreadful. Thought I was buying from British company. Poor quality coat £59. Cost over £20 to return to china. Awaiting refund. Offered 10 percent off. Total scam. Should be reported and removed for false advertising

Utter shite! Chineese scam. Don't touch. 2 jackets arrived, order confirmation went missing out of inbox too.. Rubbish, am so cross as this ia not ok.

Where are UK Trading Standards!!!

Kicking myself that I didn't read the reviews before I purchased a coat costing £59.95. Same experience as the majority, poor quality, not as described, at least 2 sizes to small. Return charges extortionate, breaching consumer rights by charging for a return for items of poor quality and not as described. I've reported them via Citizens Advice, this has then been passed to Trading Standards. I'd encourage everyone to do the same as clearly a scam.

Coat nothing like advertised. Poor quality material, poor finishing and bad workmanship.

Would never wear the coat.

Bloody appalling company! Should not be allowed to trade as they do not follow Trade Description Act and are a total rip off!!! DO NOT TOUCH!!!
