Failed promise after failed promise

*****Update 27/02/26 , after this review and the intervention of Chairman & CEO Business Complaints Specialist it was resolved promptly , refund made and good will offer also. All the things that should have happened many months ago******* Its just failed promise after failed promise going on in excess of 9 months. Still paying double for two connections when I have only ever had one. Every month after another double bill and an hour plus on a call but nothing ever changes. Complaint reference IMP-161653403 generated today and IT ticket ADH-835239 and another promise that this will be resolved and a refund from 18th March 2025 will be with me within 24 hours ....don`t hold your breath

Billed twice for the same service several times

Took a contract around January 25 , took an age to get it working, issues where there wasnt any and passed from call handler to call handler each one more incompetent than the last. Now im getting billed twice , refunded and then billed twice again , and again . Do yourself a favour and avoid this business

Moved from XLN to BT utter shambles

Moved from XLN to BT , booked an installation date for 10/01/25 which they changed to 13/01/25 which wasn't a problem. I attended my premises as agreed between the hours of 1-6 pm and BT engineer was a no show wasting my time. That was despite of e-mails confirming the date and several automated text messages advising the time etc and which gave me the opportunity to reschedule which I did not use as I require wi-fi to the business. When I eventually got to speak to a human I was assured that my installation would be given some priority. Its now a week and no contact or installation date Formal complaint reference IMP-141339353. The debacle contunues as they are unable to complet my onsyall and has been cancelled yet again as my business name doesnt match the business name they have on file , clue is the old business name relocated when I bought the property from them as a quick check of Company House would confirm. BT seem to be incapable of rational thought and continue to allow a business to be significantly impacted when they have no wifi. Its clear the various business units within BT arent capable of coordinating a simple install as the computer says NO

Item received in that bad a state that…

Item received in that bad a state that the driver didnt even ring the door bell and first I new was the automated email to advise me of my delivery. The box looked like it had been ran over by a bus and contained fragile items

Dreadful in spite of a contact being…

Dreadful in spite of a contact being agreed and signed in April 24 the change over date in late July came and went and only a call from my original supplier who advised I was on the standard (and much higher) out of contract rate was I aware the change had not occurred. Account ref A-02962227. I then see they state in their reply that I accepted a resolution to the complaint which is nonsense and speaks volumes about how inadequate the whole business is. This is a totally seperate complaint , an agreed contract accepted in April to commence in late July never went live and I incurred out of contract rates. Please avoid this business all the bad reviews cant be wrong

Offered a renewal some 5 months before…

Offered a renewal some 5 months before my first anniversary with two days to make up your mind. The contract offered was a fixed 3 year deal , you would have to be mad to accept with the downward trajectory of the wholesale energy market , they gave me an illustration for one MPAN , I presently have two MPAN`s. I've spoken to them and advise them not to renew my contract but still the emails arrived. They told me they tried to call , checked my call log and they are lying. I would avoid this outfit at all cost , they are looking after someone's interest but it certainly isn't mine

We're really sorry to hear you are unhappy with the service from Bionic, and that our Digital Renewals Service has not been suitable for your business.

We notify all our customers about the renewals process; informing you have 3 days to select your preferences, at least 3 weeks before we send your quotes. Unfortunately, we can only hold our renewals prices for 3 days, this is why we give you this window. While this may seem short, most brokers can only secure prices for 24hrs, because of our close relationship with suppliers, they have managed to extend this. Customers can of course opt-out of the service at any point until their new supply contract is actually arranged.

The rates you’re offered on a fixed contract are usually lower than those you get when you’re out-of-contract. This means that fixing your rates usually saves money against rolling on to your supplier’s out-of-contract rates. Business Assurance unsolicited LEVY

Found that they without any prior consultation added "business assurance" levy to my account. When challenged I received a well scripted cut/paste response around what Open Reach charges were should I need to engage with them and also if I declined the proposed levy that I couldn't in future decide to accept the "business assurance" in the future. The fact this is an opt out rather in an opt in is a blatant strategy by the business to enrich themselves.

Virtually impossible to speak to…

Virtually impossible to speak to someone unless its from Sales , almost 2 hours in calls and only spoke to one human being in that period. Trying to coordinate an install and given a 8am - 6pm slot (only advised on the day before the scheduled installation date) is totally unacceptable especially when the premises are not trading having recently purchased the premises and whilst undergoing refurbishment. Advised if we missed the installation engineer we would have to pay a £99 missed installation fee , the advisor stated they would try to get an engineer to give an accurate time slot so someone would be available to let the engineer in but couldn't be guaranteed . Needless to say I have now cancelled after waiting several weeks on this to proceed on the agreed date

HanWag boots developed a fault within a…

HanWag boots developed a fault within a few weeks (this was my second pair from the same company as quality was excellent previously) , register a warranty claim on 18/11 , automated response but no follow up. Repeated the exercise again with another automated response but again radio silence. Eventually got through on the phone 16/12 and James advised the would get back to me ....still waiting , very poor customer experience and even worse warranty claim experience.
