Superb chat

Just spoken through chat with a guy called modem,could not wish for a better outcome. The guy was very helpful and solved my issue

Been dumped 5 times today

Been dumped 5 times today . Has ended chat ... because its to hard to do your job on a Saturday morning . I'll be on yo head office Monday morning
Im house bound and just lost my wife . Need help . Not even more stress . Just need my order put through. Bank says card is good but your system said no ... all I need you to do is sort it your end so my dog dont go hungry in a few day

Having the chat end multiple times, and feeling like no one was willing to help, must have been extremely upsetting. You were doing everything you could to make sure your dog has food, and I understand how worrying it must have been when the order could not process.

This should have been handled calmly and clearly on our side, without you needing to chase or repeat yourself. You simply needed your order to go through so your dog would be fed, and I am very sorry that the experience left you feeling ignored and overwhelmed.

Your feedback matters, and it highlights where our support needs to be more compassionate, more consistent, and far more aware of the situations customers may be dealing with behind the scenes.

Quickly resolved issues caused by currier

The currier delivered wrong bag of dog food and missed other half of my order. I spoke on the chat with Mobeen who arranged replacement to be sent next day. Considering I joined chat just before lines closed , I was impressed how quickly my issue was resolved and my pugs won’t go hungry :)

I contacted customer service by email…

I contacted customer service by email as my order was damaged when delivered. I got a quick response and they were very helpful i received another item on next day delivery. Can’t get better service than that thank you

I moved home and went to squires gate…

I moved home and went to squires gate blackpool to ask about certain cat foods I needed due to my cats health,they didn't stock it bit elliot listened to me explaining about my cats needs, found the food and brand I had gotten from the vets and it was cheaper so that was great .I then shopped for a few things and went to the till .it 2as elliot on the the till he asked if I had a loyalty card and I explained I did but the address wasn't coming up correct so I couldn't use it .Elliott spent a good while helping sort it through my phone and a couple of times when something came up that most people would of given up .Elliot found a way to sort it and eventually saved me over £14.00 which was amazing. While he was doing that a young lady called cara helped to calm my nervous dog and give her attention which is so helpful as it makes my dog want to go in again next time as if she doesn't feel OK somewhere she will refuse to go in and she's a big dog so she was so kind .thank you Elliott and Cara fantastic customer service 👏

I had recently had a issue with an online order , I managed to get in touch with agent Mobeen M , was very helpful and sorted my issue right away and even have something extra , very satisfied with the customer service

Shocking

I am really shocked ..I bought a hamster cage as recommended by pets at home in September. This week my hamster nibbled through and escaped. Pets at Home said this was not something they could help with or take responsibility for. The lady on the online chat cut me off mid conversation and suggested it was due to lack of enrichment. The lady in store was helpful and managed to get a 10 per cent discount on my next purchase but if this is the quality pets at home think is acceptable I'm not sure I will.be buying anything from them again.

When you buy a cage that is recommended in store, you should feel confident that it is safe, suitable and able to keep your pet secure. Discovering that your hamster was able to nibble through the cage and escape must have been very distressing, and I completely understand why you feel shocked.

It is also concerning that your experience with our online chat left you feeling dismissed. Being cut off mid‑conversation and having the situation put down to a lack of enrichment would have felt unfair, especially when you had followed the original recommendation from the store. You deserved a supportive and respectful conversation that acknowledged your concerns and took them seriously.

I am glad to hear that the colleague in store was kind and helped arrange a discount for your next purchase, but I also understand why this does not take away the disappointment you have felt about the quality of the product and the lack of help you received initially.

Your feedback is important. It helps us look closely at the products we recommend, the advice we give and the way we support customers when something goes wrong. Next day delivery NOT

I’m once again impressed by the creative interpretation of “next day delivery.” Apparently here it means whenever it eventually turns up.

This isn’t even the first time this has happened. The company repeatedly advertises next day delivery, takes the order, and then somehow fails to deliver on the one thing they’re actively promoting. It’s becoming a pattern rather than an exception.

What makes it even worse is that the item is only available online, so customers have no alternative but to rely on the delivery service being advertised. Promising a service you clearly cannot provide is misleading at best and dishonest at worst.

If next day delivery isn’t something you’re actually capable of providing, perhaps stop advertising it — especially when this isn’t the first time you’ve failed to deliver on that promise.

Very disappointing and completely unacceptable.

I feel compelled to write this review…

I feel compelled to write this review as in this climate I feel credit to people who can make such a difference to someone’s experience to be acknowledged for there work ethic and dedication to going that extra mile for the customer
I had to have dealings with customer service for reasons I will not divulge in this review because I do not want to make this into anything other than a personal account of the excellence I experienced with a colleague MEISHA WILLIAMS at executive solutions team for pets at home
from the very first communication in speaking to Meisha on the telephone who I found to be extremely professional, empathetic and helpful!
She listened without prejudice and with care and compassion to my complaint
She was very clear in how the process of my complaint would be conducted and was available to answer any further questions I had by email in a very timely manner
She resolved my issue quickly as promised and to my complete satisfaction
She single handed stoped me from escalating my issue with her excellent customer service skills
She is a GREAT asset to her employers and I feel this should be acknowledged in a way that deserves recognition !

Login issues

I contacted pets at home due to being unable to login to book a groom for my dog. I had forgotten my password and the link to reset kept saying the token had expired every time I tried to rest it. The call handler Kylie S was extremely sympathetic and helpful however the log in issue has needed to be escalated.

Just had renewal quote for our Westie…

Just had renewal quote for our Westie and despite being with them for many years they have increased the coming year’s payments by nearly £50 a month which I find disgusting, especially as they had the cheek to say you can get a better deal elsewhere.
Think twice about using this company

Their continued poor service

Their continued poor service, especially using Evri as a courier makes me an unsatisfied customer and I will look elsewhere. My repeat orders are ALWAYS either late or lost. I have to source food from somewhere else which makes no sense

Trashed dog food delivery, resolved A+

Evri trashed my dog food delivery prior to delivery! I needed to contact Pets at Home to sort. Mobeen sorted it on Live Chat in a few minutes with a replacement order 24hr next day delivery, thankfully with DPD this time 😉

Damaged cat food and thick mold on the package

I just opened a box of "AVA Optimum Health Wet Senior Cat Food wet food" and was shocked to find a leaking pouch covered in thick MOLD. This is not an isolated incident; I have noticed suspicious residues and signs of leakage on pouches from previous orders as well.

The packaging is clearly unreliable, and the mold poses a serious danger to my pet’s health. I expected much higher quality control for this price. Very disappointed.

I contacted the customer service, and they offer me a £1 refund and told me "It is possible as part of the delivery process".
