Amazing member of staff at the meteor centre helped us kit out our leopard gecko with a refresh. She’s now loving it thanks to his recommendations.

Hamster Visit/Mentoring

I mentor students in Portsmouth. During one of our sessions today, I brought a young person in who had been desperate to look at hamsters and possibly hold one.

Daisy who works in the Havant store was absolutley brilliant. The student I worked with enjoyed being able to stroke the hamsters. Daisy was very patient and informative throughout the 20 minutes we were there. Thank you again.

A quick note to say, thank you so much to the store assistance with the pink heart bindi (didn't get her name) at the Oldbury Green Retail Park store for her excellent customer service today.

Fast solution

I order food for my dog they split the order in 3 parcel on took more time that normal, but I contacted customer service and they resolve the situation pretty quickly 👌🏻👌🏻 great service!

Ordered it, paid for it, but it’s not available!

My son had saved his money and decided to buy a fish tank, after plenty of research we ordered the one he wanted from Pets at Home. I got a notification the order was ready to collect, went to store, not only was the order not ready to collect but it had been cancelled ! Apparently they haven’t got any stock, so why their website can still allow people to order it and take their money is beyond me ! 5 days wait to get the money back

Negative review

Ordered dog food 8th March. DPD had still not received it by 13th. Spoke to live chat and was fobbed off by Agent saying food would be collected that day and delivered following day.
As no food delivered on 14th spoke to Mobeen who was very helpful and submitted my complaint to the “team”
Team member Emily replied 15th saying that she could arrange that I could “pop along” to Greenford store and collect food.
This store is 426 miles from my home and it would take me over 7 hours to get there. She also said I wouldn’t have to pay for it. That was nice as I had already paid for it on 8th!!
The food is now being delivered on 19th.
Have advised Customer Services that, going forward, surely if a customer complains about a bad delivery experience that the Agent should surely check the full address. If it wasn’t so annoying and a pathetic response it would actually be quite funny. If ordering dog food from PAH order in plenty of time before you run out of food. I shall go elsewhere in future!

I had placed an order in January that has never arrived, and after 2 months of hoping it would get here or I’d get a refund, Mobeen has sorted out the situation for me and has been incredibly helpful. Great customer service, thank you.

I bought 8 fish from Sheffield st james…

I bought 8 fish from Sheffield st james retail park .and next the following day one of the new ones was ill had to quarantine whole of tank .unfortunately the new stock was exposed to Septicemia parasite which attacks the internal organs and structure of fish .it wiped out all fish including my 3 year old danios and minows I lost 10 in total 2 survived .they do not keep there tanks maintenance to high standards there tanks are small and packed full of fish .and that a biohazard waiting to happen they do not clean nets after every use .I had to clear all my tank out of gravel and other items and they cost me 120 pounds in damage through diseased stock .try email management and all emails on block even Facebook page is dead .I recommend no purchases of fish are bought in this store until environmental standards of there tank and fish are maintained.

Grace is a credit to the Penzance branch.

We have recently rescued a dog from Romania and she is terribly nervous and frightened due to abuse.
We visited the Penzance branch of Pets At Home last week to buy the little dog a harness and lead.
The assistant Grace, approached us whilst we were in the store to see if we required help. We explained the situation and she was just wonderful with our dog that I was carrying, she sorted her out with a lovely harness and lead, ensured it fitted her correctly and was really calm and patient with her.
I really hope that Grace is able to see this review as she really went out of her way to help us and is an absolute credit to the company.

Easy repeat late every order

Had flea drops on easy repeat needed to be on our 2 cats 14th of the month, the drops came later and later each month to the point i had to go and buy some more to stock up , this time it said the 23rd of march for delivery , what good is that? Chat ended 3 times saying they had rectified the problem, cancelled now will go somwhere else that can deliver on time

Thank you for taking the time to share what has been happening. I am really sorry to hear how frustrating your Easy Repeat experience has become. When flea treatment is set to arrive in line with your cats’ schedule each month, you should be able to rely on it being delivered on time so you can keep their protection consistent. Having it arrive later and later each month is understandably very disappointing.

By the time your delivery was pushed back to the 23rd of March, it no longer aligned with your cats’ needs, and I completely understand why that left you having to go out and buy extra treatments just to keep up. You should never be in this position because the subscription you are paying for has become unreliable.

I am also sorry to hear that the chat ended multiple times and that you were told the problem had been fixed each time when nothing actually changed. You deserved clear communication and a real resolution, not repeated disruptions and unkept assurances.

Your feedback is important, and it highlights where we need to improve the reliability of our Easy Repeat service and the support you receive when you reach out for help.

Broken cage

Had a habitat hamster cage for 2 months which failed as bar broke and was dangerously.
Went into hedge end store to explain it wasn’t fit for purpose and ask for a replacement.
Was told by store manager it was my hamsters fault and that I was just trying to get a free cage. She became aggressive when I started to cry and say I would have to bring my husband in to speak to her ( as I was so upset at the lack of empathy) and she rose her voice saying I was threatening her! It was so mortifying that I left the store in tears and still have a broken and dangerous cage.
Utterly awful service and completely unacceptable behaviour towards customer
