Ruby restored my faith in Business Stream
The second agent I spoke to today, Ruby, was extremely helpful. I had previously contacted Business Stream a the end of September and the rep did not log my query correctly.
First person I spoke to today did not understand our problem, had me on hold for 5 mins then cut me off.
Upon calling back and explaining the problem to Ruby she summarised my complaint and got it resolved within minutes. Why the first two people could not help is beyond me.

Excellent Customer Service
The Customer service agent I dealt with today rectified both issues I was experiencing with accounts and ensured I was satisfied with the resolution before ending the call. It is extremely important to retain direct communication and have a dedicated phoneline as this remains a more effective way to resolve issues quickly. The agent was patient, polite and friendly throughout. Thank you

It was good to talk to a real person
It was good to talk to a real person, who went out of her way to understand the problem. She dealt with all my queries, then stayed on the line while I opened the online portal to make sure I could access it. I did have to wait for the call to be answered, but I prefer this to a computer-generated menu where I struggle to match my needs with the options given.

Dorsey provided great customer support in locating our acocunt, informing me of the portal and providing access so i could retrive documents myself as well as emailing me the documents i required.
He went above and beyond and kept me informed the whole time we were on the phone. Becoming a lost skill in todays world of customer service.

I have been on the phone for over 12 minutes just trying to pay my final bill and system crashed twice l have been advised this does happen and to pay by bank transfer just ridiculous

Avoid Business stream !!
Business stream sent a bill for 1 year in advance in feb 2026 . To cover from April 2026 to 31st March 2027 even though our business was paid up until March 31st, 2026. We decided to move to another company on March 6th or 7th 2026. Even though we were not on a water meter, we were informed would take a month to move. Business stream blocked our move in march 2026, stating we owed over £300. Which we were in credit until 31st March 2026. This company then got debt recovery to search for me and my business . Resulting in me making an official complaint to C.C.W. Unfortunately nothing from business stream was transparent or honest. Eventually we have managed move and would Never go back to business stream. This is to forewarn anyone doing business with Business Stream..

Business stream offered us a £100 bribe/good will gesture. Which we refused, so we could make an official complaint to the C.C.W and to inform other businesses about Business Stream's bully tactics.. Avoid!!

Closing the water account was very Easy
Closing the water account was very easy. No paperwork, just a small bill to finalise the account and all the paper work done by the operator. So simple - why isn't everything else like this???
