Excellent to have a call-back facility instead of waiting around on a phone line for an unknown time with annoying music, as is typical on so manty so-called 'helplines' with other utility companies.

Been with S4B for a few years
Been with S4B for a few years, sign up process was easy, meter readings were done regularly, billing was on time and accurate.
Sadly, over time, things have rapidly declined. Two years since last meter reading (it was actually done yesterday by SEW), we have a digital meter and needs a touchpad reader to read it. S4B have taken their own sweet time arranging, despite me being in contact with them regularly for nearly a year.
Their customer service is beyond appalling, given up trying to reach them by telephone and they take 10 days to reply to emails. They are supercharged though at contract renewal time. Considering a change when contract expires.

I called and used the call back service…
I called and used the call back service which was really quick. Holly sorted my incorrect meter reading out really quickly and amended our bill to reflect the true billing. She was polite, friendly and patient on the call. She took personal responsibility to resolve whilst I was on the phone instead of pushing my case to the bottom of the pile.

Unfortunately, these are fixed charges that apply while the property remains connected to the water and wastewater network, even where no water has been used.
If you no longer require the supply and would like to discuss a permanent disconnection, please contact our Customer Service team on 0330 123 0205 and we'll be happy to talk you through the process and explain the options available.

The charges on your bill, including sewerage and wastewater charges, are set by your local water wholesaler. As your water retailer and billing provider, we issue bills on their behalf, so we don't have any control over those charges.

Customer Service Brilliant
Kevin in the customer service team was exceptionally helpful and directed us to an (unknown to us) fund to help with a leak we'd had. He was able to also adjust a steep increase in our direct debit because of the leak. Great communications and friendly staff.
