Horrible customer service

6 emails, 4 calls over three weeks, 2 automated email responses from Juan and no solutions. I purchased a smh10 about 10 years ago amazing product and worked well. Sticking with them I just purchased the 50c it doesn't come with directions, all this advertising about the h&k speakers it's so quiet you can barely make it song lyrics. I have asked same question 6 times volume turned all the way up on the unit and the phone. What can I do to make it louder? Still no response, looking at these reviews they don't respond to reviews either.

Terrible customer support when things go wrong

I had a 10C that was just outside warranty. It stopped recording any camera or video the SD Card. I contact Sena, they were not interested in helping at all, very poor customer services. I expected a lot more from a very expensive motorcycle camera. No more Sean for me.

If i could give no stars I would

If i could give no stars I would. Do not purchase their product unless you want to throw heaps of money at a very poor product. Sena customer service is extremely bad, they do not care about the customers satisfaction at all, emails are ignored. I am still trying to get some recourse out of them after 2 months and over 20 emails.

In dem ganzen Lieferumfang (gefühlt…

In dem ganzen Lieferumfang (gefühlt Millionen von Plastikteilen, Klebepads, Kabelsalat) findet niemand durch.
Es gibt keine Hinweise welche Befestigungen für welchen Helmtyp sind.
Das muß der Kunde alles selber herausfinden.
Keine Hilfe beim Einbau in den Helm, keine Anleitung oder Skizzen.
Bei meinem Gerät rastet das Bedienteil zwar in den Halter, der am Helm befestigt wird ein, kann aber mit 2 Fingern so wieder abgezogen werden. Der Entriegellungknopf ist völlig überflüssig, da die Arretierung sowieso nicht richtig hält.
Also alles zurück und nie wieder!
Für das viele Geld leider nur Enttäuschung!

SRL 2 not fit for purpose

SRL 2 not fit for purpose, all my emails have been ignored.
Fundamentally important to function in any comm's device is the sound quality. The SRL 2 falls down horribly in this department. Once you have some road noise they are useless and music.... music just sounds horrible.

Only plus I can think of for this headset is that it connects flawlessly.

The company are horrible too, they blatantly ignore you! When my customers have a complaint I see it as a positive thing because it gives me the opportunity to go above and beyond to make my customers happy. They go on to tell others!

SENA take note!

The customer service is the worst I've…

The customer service is the worst I've ever dealt with...absolutely horid. All I wanted to do was exchange a size large for an extra large...somehow this request needs to be approved by the intergalactic federation of planets...after a week of no response (and a week of prime riding weather) I called them and said, "I no longer need an exchange I need a refund, surely this doesn't need to be approved"
I'm writing this review while some dweeb processes my refund so fingers crossed.
Never again!! I'll buy from Amazon because I know at the end of the day they'd probably send me a new helmet, refund me for the old one and tell me to keep both.
Sena is the worst!!

Initial issues but now better.

Just purchased an SLR2 for my Shoei. When I first had it, it wouldn't charge, so had to reset it, so not impressed. But since then has performed very well, both with music, sat-nav and to another rider.

Sena 50R Not worth the high cost due…

Sena 50R Not worth the high cost due the batteries fail shortly after the warranty expires. First sign is the notice of battery low before it should, then it will quickly deteriorate to showing fully charged but turning off immediately after powering on. Have now found out this is common, and is the same for both of our dual pack, $855 for 14 months.

Sena is a joke!!

I have the Sena 20S Evo! My Sena will not update.
It keeps saying it does not recognize the device.
There is no way to actually speak to a customer service agent. I emailed them over a month ago and never got a response. Finally was able to chat with someone on the website and they wanted to say they never received an email from me. So I sent a screenshot of the email that I sent in January. They were very unhelpful. They took me through all these steps that I had already did and it still did not work. They finally wanted me to change the settings on my computer and delete drives off my computer. I didn't want to delete drives off my computer from fear of something else not working. I am very disappointed in Sena. I will never recommend this product to anyone nor will I ever purchase one again!

Wish I had read the reviews first

Wish I had read the reviews first! Customer service is terrible! Unit had a faulty battery that was lasting less than 30hours and it wasn't even turned on! 2 weeks of dealing back and forth with Sena Agents they finally decide to replace the unit.....at my expense!! I had to pay for shipping from the US to Nz for the new unit AND my faulty unit. Waste of time and money!

I was deceived

Their customer service is miserable. I placed an order for 53 euros and it never arrived. They do not respond to my emails. I lost my money. I'm sorry to say that, but they gave me every right to consider them as swindlers.

customer service it very bad i would not by this product again i advised my brother to buy something else mic quit and was out of warranty i had just bought the upgraded speakers they said they would not sell the mic separately and i had to buy the hole kit i asked to talk to a manager never got a call back don't buy this crap!

Overpriced junk

Overpriced junk. I'm so surprised that Shoei has paired up with Sena and charge top dollar for a SRL2 that has absolutely crap sound quality. Never before have I wasted so much money on such crap.

Customer support took 20 days to reply and not really helpful.........

Deeply disappointed with customer service .....

We are a family of cyclists (father, mother and daughter) and we bought three cycling helmets to talk to each other and listen to music together in our rides (R1 and M1). This was not cheap, each of them around 150 Euro, but seemed to be worth it - we enjoyed them for couple of months and even got addicted - used to chat with our daughter in the mornings on the way to school.
and then... all of a sudden daughters' helmet fitting system just stopped working and it was not possible to use helmet anymore as it was sitting lousily banging the head.. We opened the fitting system to discover that internal plastic wheel was broken (never seen that before even with cheapest helmets!!).
Well.. dropped a message to Sena support.. then next day additionally reminded them on chat supportas no reaction followed. Sent ALL the documents at their request - invoice, helmet serial number, photos - you name it! I was asking just for the small 3 cm plastic wheel to replace broken part!!
No reply for 14 days - and each of those my daughter kept asking - what is the answer from Sena?
Tried to reach out to them them on Insta... it took Sena team an additional week to answer simultaneously on Insta and on e-mail, and this was pretty discouraging: 1) send us the whole helmet in original pack, we can not send spare parts 2) customer pays for the return.
Actually, by that time we have already ordered brand new fitting system ZOOM ACT IT, received it and my husband managed to use it to fix the broken helmet.

Why on earth should I be doing that for a helmet that has already cost me 140 Euro?

I would be ok to suffer inconvenience of a broken helmet and even the shipment cost may the reply be received within 24 hours, but now... I would think twice before buying Sena product anymore. Will treat that as gumbling money... risk of losing that for no good.

They want me to pay for shipping on a…

They want me to pay for shipping on a Bluetooth headset that I bought and the same day that I bought it the thing isn't functioning properly and one of the speakers is rattling when it plays music. I have to pay to ship them a product I bought less then 30 days of having it to get a replacement. It's not working as it is supposed to fresh out of the box. Horrible Customer Service Stay Away From This Company And It's Products If You Know What's Good For You.

That's fine with me since that's how sena wants to do business with a short-term mindset. They have got the last bit of money from me. You get $200.00 in the short-term but lose business with a customer for the long term where you would get way more money from in the future by doing right by them. 

No thanks I refuse to put another dime towards a product that isn't working properly the same day after I buy it and I refuse to ever spend any of my hard earned money on a company with business principles and practices of this shady character. 

Thanks for nothing sena but, I know I am just one small fish in a big pond. Some people will never experience this type of service because their products will work fine out of the box. But I always say you can tell how good a company is once you have to deal with them on a customer service level and sena is trash on that end.  

Two hour wait times on the phone, contact through email only with a couple of hours in between email responses, and you pay for shipping on an item that you buy with you company name on it and it isn't functioning properly the same day you use it and you have to Funnel more of your money to get another. 

Thanks for nothing sena.

Sena technologies doesn’t honor warranty’s

Hello,
I’m leaving a review for sena technologies. This is regarding sena’s motorcycle headset . Model smh10-r.
My complaint is regarding their warranty.
They offer a 5 year limited warranty. This warranty protects any natural defects with the headset. However in the fine print at the bottom they state they can change it to 2 years at their discretion.
I purchased a sena smh10r headset on amazon in September of 2016. I received the headset October 7th 2016. This is quality. This headset has free updates for life . It can be paired with any off brand headset for life . Meaning you can talk to any new or old headsets that aren’t sena.
I’ve used this headset 32 times in the 4 years. I’ve also have never dropped my helmet or got stuck riding in the rain. I kept up with all updates. The helmet stays in my protective bag . It hangs in my closet when not in use . A little over a month ago the helmet stopped working. Being the person I am. I purchased a new battery from sena . Assuming this was the problem. It didn’t fix the headset. The headset would flash blue twice and lose all power. At this point I emailed sena for help. I was ignored over a week. I emailed them a second time. I received an answer stating that the helmet needed to be updated. Keep in mind the headset is not working correctly. Absolutely no power through the headset. I emailed them explaining exactly what I’m writing here. I was advised that since I replaced the battery on my own they were downgrading the warranty to 2 years. I replied asking for an explanation. No response. This time around I called sena. The representative on the phone . At first went over everything with me . Stated that I wasn’t cooperating so that is why they made it 2 years. I was told that this is my problem . That I shouldn’t expect things to last. The lady on the phone even laughed. She said this is what I get. I was told to stop being cheap. She said and I quote. “Your just a small person in a big world”.”If you want this problem to go away you will purchase a newer model”. With that being said. she transferred me to sales. I hung up. Why did this just happen? All this happened With absolutely no help. I was cut down to a 2 year warranty all because I purchased a new sena battery and couldn’t or wouldn’t do an update. I purchased this battery from an official sena distributor. I feel ashamed to have given any money to this company.
I have since contacted the BBB. They stated that they didn’t receive a reply from sena in the allotted time. However this will still show a negative effect. This isn’t who I am. I take care of everything I own. I’m beating myself up. This is a defective unit that fairly died before the 5 years had expired. I have sent a letter to their President. I have Also contacted a lawyer. I don’t care if someone spends $5 or $500 what you purchase should be honestly protected for a set time. It should be honored with integrity. You shouldn’t be talked down to over the phone. You shouldn’t be told that you need to purchase a new headset. Why would i give them a dollar more . So my next sena headset will fail in another 4 years?

Useless Sena customer support

I purchased 4 Sena SPH-10 headsets. Two in 2019 and two in May of 2020. I contacted Sena customer service on June 2, 2021 about one of the headset batteries dead and not charging. I did not ask for warranty coverage. After 6 weeks of sending pictures of the headsets and invoices they told me the headset with the bad battery was out of warranty and that I would have to buy a complete new headset! Very poor customer support and they won't even sell parts or refer you somewhere to buy parts for repair. I will never buy another Sena product!
