A warning to all potential buyers. Cardo positions itself as a premium brand, but when a material defect occurs, they completely wash their hands of it and blame the customer.On my Packtalk Neo, the plastic latch of the cradle simply snapped due to wind resistance and micro-vibrations during a normal highway ride. I treat my helmet with extreme care – it was never dropped, bumped, or mishandled. The response from the support network? "Impossible, our premium plastic never breaks on its own, it must be user error."It is unacceptable that a device at this price point suffers a structural failure from ordinary wind pressure, only for the company to gaslight the customer instead of providing support. Paying a premium price should mean getting premium customer care and acknowledging manufacturing defects, not running away from warranty responsibilities. Very disappointing customer service. Think twice before buying if you care about a reliable company that stands behind its products.

I am extremely disappointed with the Cardo system. What should be a premium communication device has turned into a constant source of frustration. The units regularly drop communications during rides, and it seems like every other ride requires a complete reset just to get basic functionality back.
The Bluetooth connectivity is equally unreliable. Pairing with a new phone is often a nightmare, and even when it does connect, the system frequently loses the connection or refuses to reconnect. As a result, listening to music becomes hit-or-miss, defeating one of the main reasons I purchased the system in the first place.
For a product marketed toward riders who depend on reliable communication, the performance is unacceptable. Instead of enjoying the ride, I find myself troubleshooting, resetting devices, and reconnecting phones. The amount of time spent trying to make this system work properly is ridiculous.
I expected a dependable communication system. Instead, I got an expensive piece of equipment that requires constant maintenance and delivers inconsistent results. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Cardo to anyone looking for reliable rider-to-rider communication or seamless Bluetooth connectivity.

I wish Id researched more before lashing put £160 on this garbage. Constant pairing issues and around .75 second latency, so your partner talks, and you can sort of hear through the helmets then the Catdo kicks in like a cheap echo unit do the conversation is really hard to decipher. We spend our lives re pairing the units and Ive had enough. Going back to the cheap £70 Chinese units I had from Amazon. They work!!!
Second time i bought these
Second time i bought these, now the cheaper one because i only talk to the passenger. After a few times use this cheaper version did not want to connect anymore. The more expensive one had the same problem after 4 years of casual use. This brand is just expensive garbage. Updating did not help. Just garbage.

Don’t waste your time or money! Bought the product, sat down to pair and set up but immediately had both connection issues and once connected consistent voice cutting out, crackling etc. It’s a 50/50 shot on a ride as to whether or not the system works and spotty throughout the ride. Contacted Cardo and Fortnine where we bought it. After jumping through all the hoops they required, multiple reboots, updates etc. the system does not work any better. Additional contact has Cardo telling us there is nothing they can do and Fortnine will not help. If you want a garbage connection for too much money and zero support then buy Cardo but if you want to talk on a ride try someone else!

Cardo started my bathroom refit on the 23rd of February, they left us without washing facilities for 19 days.
It’s the 5th of June and they still haven’t finished the job, they organise dates and just don’t show up.
My new bathroom is absolutely horrendous, really bad work, I’ve got the housing ombudsman involved now, Cardo are an absolute joke

Does it matter if your product is gold standard if the product can't even get to your customers?
They need to work on their customer support first and then on their address form. Second time I bought cardo product directly from their website and both time something different happened. Package was with the wrong address as soon as I recieved that confirmation and then a weird "request by the sender to return the package", I waited 3 more days and "the package was delivered" I checked the shipping address and it was changed by I dont know who to a destination. I contacted customer service and per supporr "We have reviewed the case in our system and can confirm that the shipment status is recorded as delivered and the unit has already been activated. Based on these system confirmations, we are unable to proceed with a refund or replacement."
Plus also a "If you require any technical assistance with the device itself, we remain available to support you"
I dont even have my device! What do you mean technical support, where is the customer service and the attention to detail?

Vraiment une marque d'escroc. C'est scandaleux. Mon Système d'écouteurs+ micro m'a lâché au bout de deux ans et 2 mois. Après une bataille de plusieurs semaines j'ai obtenu un pauvre code de réduction de 28%...pour remplacer un produit qui en compte 150e, soit plus de la moitié du prix d'achat initial. Et actuellement sur leur site le produit que je veux acheter et déjà a -25%. Évidemment je ne peux pas ajouter mon code fourni de -28% par la marque à la réduc appliqué de base sur le mois de mai ou même le mettre à la place de celui ci!! Donc je me retrouve dans l'impossibilité de remplacer mon boîtier qui ne fonctionne plus à 2 semaines de partir en road trip. Et évidemment le "geste" commercial que l'on m'a fait n'en est visiblement pas un. Bande d'escrocs, marque de voleurs.

Ik heb een duo cardo set gekocht voor 425 euro waardeloos geluid is slecht muziek heeft bijna geen bas boven 60 km hoor je niks meer voor dit bedrag is het niet waard.

I had a bike accident. Cardio was the first thing that gave my dad a notification and a location of where i crashed which gave him the location where to send the ambulance too.

Frust statt Fahrspaß – Komplizierte Bedienung und instabile Verbindungen
Ich habe das Cardo Freecom 4+ nun ausgiebig in Verbindung mit einer Honda CRF1100 Africa Twin und einem TomTom Rider getestet. Mein Fazit: Wer ein modernes Motorrad mit TFT-Display als Zentrale nutzen möchte, braucht starke Nerven – oder ein anderes Headset.
Die Kritikpunkte im Detail:
Völlig veraltete Kopplungslogik: Das System mit "Kanal 1" und "Kanal 2" sowie unterschiedlichen LED-Farbcodes (Rot/Blau, Rot/Grün) für verschiedene Gerätetypen ist absolut nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Man verbringt Stunden damit, Tasten für 5 oder mehr Sekunden zu drücken und Wählräder zu drehen, nur um eine stabile Verbindung zu suchen.
Keine Multitasking-Stabilität: Es ist nahezu unmöglich, die Honda als Hub (Zentrale) und gleichzeitig ein TomTom Navi zu koppeln. Entweder fliegt das eine Gerät raus oder das andere wird gar nicht erst wiedererkannt. Selbst nach 20-fachen Versuchen und kompletten Resets verliert das Cardo regelmäßig die Verbindung zum zweiten Kanal, sobald das Motorrad neu gestartet wird.
Mangelhaftes "Gedächtnis": Das Gerät schafft es nicht zuverlässig, einmal gekoppelte Partner dauerhaft zu speichern. Jede Fahrt beginnt mit dem Bangen, ob sich die Technik heute gnädigerweise verbindet oder ob man wieder am Straßenrand steht und neu installiert.
Firmware & App: Trotz aktueller Updates (v3.6) bleibt die Kommunikation zwischen den Bluetooth-Protokollen instabil. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist dabei wenig hilfreich, da sie die Komplexität moderner TFT-Systeme völlig ignoriert.
Fazit:
Wer nur ein Handy koppeln will, mag zufrieden sein. Sobald man aber das volle Potenzial eines modernen Tourers (TFT-Display + externes Navi) nutzen möchte, versagt das Freecom 4+ auf ganzer Linie. Die Bedienung ist unnötig kompliziert und die Zuverlässigkeit für diesen Preis inakzeptabel. Ich werde mich wohl nach einer Alternative umsehen müssen. Keine Kaufempfehlung für anspruchsvolle Setups.

Complete waste of money and time now . Send a unit back in out my own pocket and talk to so many people on phone . Just for them to offer the refund which takes 2 weeks . I asked if I can just exchange the unit and they sent the broken one back . Mind you I only used the unit maybe 15-20 times before bugging out and not turning on or charging . So wasted 450$ on the packtalk edge another 120$ on the second helmet kit and shipping the junk back just to get the same junk back in mail . Extremely disappointed in the service and product Cardo…
The problems with the cardo pro are…
The problems with the cardo pro are that it disconnects from the phone and the cardo app. This happens to a lot of users. You really don't check and update for this problem. Very shameful. I have 2 cardo pro devices, but I'm going to switch to the Sena.

Völlige Intransparenz, was die Geräte können, ob es ein oder 2 Geräte sind; die Namen sind verwirrend.
Konfiguration des Systems nur mittels App möglich, die tausend Anläufe benötigt, sich mit dem System zu verbinden.
Updates schlagen ständig fehl, währenddessen bricht die Bluetooth-Verbindung immer wieder ab.
Ich habe es nicht geschafft, eine Intercom-Verbindung zwischen den beiden Einheiten aufzubauen.
Gerät ging zurück.
Bin bedient.
Nie wieder.

Ik heb anderhalf jaar geleden een Packtalk Neo gekocht in een winkel, maar helaas is recent de rechterspeaker kapot gegaan. Via de winkel konden ze enkel het gehele communicatiesysteem innemen en opsturen, dus heb ik contact gezocht met de klantenservice van Cardo. Zonder al te veel moeite konden zij me een nieuwe set speakers opsturen. Topservice!!

Le SAV de cette entreprise est d'une incompétence sans égal.
Il me mène en bateau depuis des semaines pour un kit JBL que j'ai acheté et qui ne fonctionne pas.
