Excellent customer service years after warranty expires
I purchased a Micro Express desktop computer many years ago (2014). The computer has performed flawlessly the entire time and it remains fast and powerful. Over the years I have contacted the company technical support for guidance on making upgrades (hard drive, graphics card) and addressing other questions I have had. In every case, they quickly took my call and provided me with extensive help. Compared to other computer companies that provide minimal assistance after the warranty has expired, Micro Express stands out for their fantastic customer support. When the time comes to finally retire my computer (not in the near future) I will definitely purchase a new one from Micro Express.

I purchased a laptop from microexpress.com after reading a review on pcworld.com's website, a previously trusted source for technology information. I am a computer & electrical engineering graduate from NCSU and I can't express how terrible of a decision I made when purchasing from this company, or should I say individual named "Casey," working out of his apartment. I paid over $2200 for a brand new laptop that was shipped without my 125$ *additional* backup battery and a screen that had dead pixels. I immediately contacted them and regardless of whether I pushed "1 for Sales, 2 for Tech Support" each time I called, I spoke with the same individual named "Casey" I was even put on hold only to speak with the same guy!? I was promised a quick fix and an "upgrade" to a new case for my inconvenience. I was contacted 9 days later and was told the computer couldn't be upgraded, the screen wasn't covered under the warranty because it only had 4 bad pixels and their warranty conveniently states "5 pixels or more," and that my additional battery was shipped separately and "probably" hadn't arrived yet, no tracking number?!?. If that wasn't enough I was CHARGED again for the computer to be shipped back without my consent, 25$ there and 25$ back!? I have yet to receive my battery, have been hung up on every time I've called, and I am currently starting the long legal process against the company and GET THIS registered to CASEY @ 8 Hammond Dr. "APT!!!!! #105" . Buyer beware!
