Highly recommend this tour company for trips to Mount Etna

Couldn't be better. Amazing people, amazing tour 👏

We had the half-day version of the 4x4 tour to the volcano Etna. It was very interesting as the guide shared a lot of informations with us in our mother tongue German, which was especially helpful for our younger daughter. It was great to combine the experience and observations at Etna with those additional information, which were shared in the right moments. We really enjoyed the tour and can recommend this for families (not only from Germany).

We did the 4x4 Jeep half day tour and it was very nice.

Guides were fantastic, they explain everything very clearly and in a dynamic way.

Not 5 starts for me because when I booked it I expected a “jeep” or similar 4x4 as shown in the picture. For me that was a big part of why I choose them!

They advertise “You will continue the adventurous jeep tour on an off-road track through the pine forests and you will get further insight into the unique and diverse flora and fauna which inhabits the lava rocks” AND “We will pick you up at your accommodation with one of our off-road vehicles (including the popular Land Rover 110) and heading in the direction of the volcano” But thats not what you get.

You get a 4x4 9 seater Ford Van, nothing like the picture shown on the website. And of course no OFF-ROAD experience at all… just a normal road.

All in all, I would still recommend the tour with Go-Etna! But be sure that you are OK with not going on a classic 4x4 and going driving on a normal road.

L’équipe Go Etna est au top avec des guides très sérieux, sympathiques et francophones! Nous avons été équipé de doudoune et casque par leurs soins. La randonnée jusqu’au sommet de l’Etna restera parmi nos souvenirs les plus incroyables de notre séjour. Nous recommandons sans hésiter.

Grazie per il meraviglioso tour. Le vostre fantastiche guide si sono prese cura di noi e ci hanno regalato esperienze e conoscenze indimenticabili. I gentilissimi Fortunato e David ci hanno prelevato con cura in Via Plebiscito, 17, 95121 Catania CT e ci hanno riaccompagnati con altrettanta disponibilità. Durante il tragitto, ci hanno raccontato molte cose interessanti sulla Sicilia e sulla prossima escursione sull'Etna.
Il bravissimo autista Sergej non solo ci ha portati sani e salvi sulla cima dell'Etna, ma ci ha anche raccontato storie eccezionalmente interessanti sull'Etna e su ciò che vedevamo dal finestrino, spiegandoci perché un luogo è speciale rispetto a un altro. È stato meraviglioso ammirare e ascoltare i suoi racconti, e Sergej si è costantemente assicurato che non dimenticassimo di vestirci in modo adeguato. Ha fatto in modo che ci sentissimo a nostro agio in macchina.
E la guida Sebastian merita un racconto a parte. È stato meraviglioso! È così carismatico e disponibile che persino mia madre, che non parla italiano, ha capito il suo racconto sulla storia epica dell'Etna. All'inizio le ho tradotto dall'italiano, ma poi non ne ho più avuto bisogno. Sebastian ha parlato con una tale espressività che persino lei ha capito. Abbiamo percepito che Sebastian e tutte le altre guide si preoccupavano sinceramente di come ci sentivamo e di quali impressioni avremmo portato con noi. E le impressioni sono rimaste impresse nei nostri cuori per sempre. È meraviglioso quando un tour è guidato da persone che amano così profondamente il loro paese e l'Etna. Un abbraccio sincero e un grazie a voi carissimi: Fortunato, David, Sebastian, Sergei, Giarve. E al meraviglioso Sebastian!!!!

We had a great excursion with "David" who was thorough in teaching us about Mt. Etna and her surroundings. He was patient with all levels of guests as we walked the trail and stopped to take photos. I would recommend this excursion for people considering it.

Great expérience from the start to the end. I went to the excursion with my 3 children of 13, 16 and 19 years old and we all enjoyed it! Francesco came to pick up us at our hotel location, and gave us lots of explanations during all the tour: how the Etna appeared, the agriculture on it, the mindset of Sicilian people… we could discover the Etna during a walk on it and it was amazing! Go Etna is really a tour to experience ! It was our Best memory of our 1 week stay in Sicilia!
