Disappointing tbh. Booked one tour. Then go enta swapped it saying same tour but no cable car. One the day didn't go to summit . As swapped to tour without summit
No point did the tour reach 3000m as stated .
Then we had to weight 2-3 hr for another tour to come back , so they put us in a van for a drive round forest
Guides were good company let down

It was a very successful trip. The organisation and logistics were top-notch. Everything was well thought out and professionally managed. Francesco, our guide, made this trip truly special thanks to his sense of humour, his dedication to customer care and, above all, his vast knowledge of Mount Etna and Sicily. Etna was obviously amazing but I was specially impressed by the organisation getting everyone where they needed to be.

Professional, friendly and informative

Hi All,

We participated a tour on 17th August.
The Etna was getting out the smoke and vulcanic ash. Our guiders made a
safety decision and we could close the vulcano at around 2800 meters.
One eye laughs the other one cries. Cries because we could not get closer but laughs that we got a chance to see the vulcano in its strong activity.
Our Guide Daniel was perfect and during the exhausting tour he replied
for all questions and shared interesting informations and facts about the vulcano.
Thank you very much for the whole Team!
I would chose the Go-Etna once again so I can just recommend their service.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our Etna and wine tour with Sasha yesterday. It was well-paced and Sasha was the perfect combination of fun and knowledgeable. The lunch was generous and the wines on offer were tasty and interesting. We highly recommend this tour for anyone who would like to combine a bit of physical activity with a relaxed and informative day out.

Ready for a completely different kind of off-road Jeep tour adventure?.

It's completely different because firstly, you're not in a jeep. And secondly, the only part off-road are a couple of car parks.

As it happens, we did enjoy this excursion. The guides and drivers were brilliant. Very knowledgeable. The cave was interesting and the vehicle was comfortable. The trek was the highlight, but it did feel overpriced.

This is the part where I can't give it 4 or 5 stars.
There was 1 Jeep and around 6-7 Ford Transit Tourneos transporting us. The Tourneos had 4x4 stickers on them, but riding in the front, I know ours wasn't!
Poor from the management. Great from the tour guides.

Francesco met our group right outside the cruise ship terminal and showed us an amazing time on Mt. Etna. He was so knowledgeable and we learned so much. He brought us back safely and on time. Highly recommend for cruise ship passengers.

Guides fantastiques. Organisation au top. On pourrait faire un tout petit peu mieux sur le repas (notamment le dessert car un gâteau au chocolat ça fait pas très sicilien). Mais nous garderons en mémoire longtemps cette visite de l’Etna.

Awful experience and I would not recommend them.

My wife and I booked a half day (5hours) sunset tour for the 17th of August. The day before the tour we were told that due to recent Etna activity, the tour might be canceled. They did not canceled it.

We met with the tour guy, Vincenzo, at a gas station - their meeting point. It was raining, water and ash from the vulcono. I asked Vincenzo if it's safe and normal to have the tour in these conditions, he said this is not normal, but we will go ahead with the tour.

The tour should have included a 45 minute hike, a visit to one of the caves and other stops along the way with some history of the volcano to be shared.

We went up straight for the hike, and when we arrived there, as we were preparing to go for it, we were told it's not safe to do it and that it was canceled. Fine - better safe than sorry!

They then took us to a cave, a hole in the ground where we were told to stay at distance because it's not safe considering there was an earthquake the previous day. I asked why bring us if it was obvious we are not able to actually visit it? Everyone from the group complained that we paid 75 euros per person for nothing so far. The guide said he is sorry and decided to take us back since it was starting to rain again.

The tour should have started at 5 PM and last until 9 PM, we left at 5 20 PM and we were back at 7 30 at the gas station. When reaching out to Go-Etna for a refund, they told me the tour happened, so no money back.

There you have it - 150 euros for the tour, 10 euros for proper shoes that we never used, time and money spent to get to the meeting/starting point.

Obviously- I am taking formal steps to get my money back, reaching out to the proper authority since Go-Etna is in the business of charging customers and not delivering at their end.

Awful experience, better to stay away from these guys!
