Dutch Expat Shop Anmeldelser 

I ordered for the first time, and I'm very satisfied. One product wasn't available, and I got a refund for that on my bank account. The shipment was quick (it took 1 week from the day I ordered everything to get it in my home). The small bottle was wrapped carefully with lots of bubble foil and plastic.

I also liked that the website was clear about how much weight I could add for the same shipping cost.

I'm definitely going to use their service again.

Op 5 juni bestelling gedaan nu 11 juli, 5 weken en geen pakket, heb van de douane brieven ontvangen dat pakket niet uitgeleverd wordt. Dutch expat shop moet nog " uitzoeken" wat er mis gegaan is. Geen pakket en ook nog geen geld terug.
Vandaag 17 juli nog steeds geen antwoord van Dutch expat shop.
Heb op 18 juli te horen gekregen dat ik het geld terug krijg. Dat het pakket niet uitgeleverd wordt heb ik Dutch expat shop all eerder laten weten omdat de Colombiaanse douane mij deze papieren all toegestuurd had en ik deze aan Dutch expat shop doorgestuurd had. Heb ook nog eens 27€ aan administratie kosten aan de douane moeten betalen terwijl het pakket niet uitgeleverd wordt. Ik heb jaren een bedrijf gehad in Nederland ook import export en heb me altijd vantevoren informeert over de regels van het land waarheen ik exporteerde, wat kan en mag. Blijkbaar doet Dutch expat shop dit niet.

HORRIBLE!!!!! Do NOT order from this company. I ordered six bottles of vodka and paid extra to have them special wrapped. Very poorly bubble wrapped. All came in smashed with liquid seeping out of the packaging. Company will NOT respond to me after requesting they do so. Am reporting the company to Paypal and my credit card company.
NOTE: After reviewing pictures of the damaged items company issued a full refund. Issue is resolved.

Ich habe schon mehrfach in dem Shop bestellt und bin sehr zufrieden. Die Ware war immer super verpackt, nichts war bislang beschädigt (auch das weiche Brot nicht) und selbst wenn mal ein Artikel gefehlt hat (was nur einmal vorgekommen ist) ging die Rückzahlung sehr schnell.

Weekje of 2 geleden hier een review achter gelaten. Ik had helaas een vervelende siuatie mee gemaakt, maar er werd hier gelijk op gereageerd en is vervolgens ook netjes afgehandeld. Erg tevreden!

They were very helpful when I couldn't get the payment to work. Order shipped quickly and was received in the U.S. in 10 days. The only thing I would change is some delicate items were crushed, but that was mostly on the shipper - but they could have been more protected. Bought items I can't get in North America and wasn't overcharged like some places try to do.

Edit: Some of the snacks arrived crushed. At first they seemed eager to help, but after receiving the photos and asking how they could fix it, I said that most of the damaged ones were okay except one item and could I get either a refund or credit for the one item. No response after that. Disappointing that they haven't responded to a couple messages sent weeks apart.

Edit 2: Response took a while, but issue is resolved.

Avoid at all cost !!!
One month and I still waiting for my order.
3 emails at the custumer service and no answer.
And they have the cheek to send me 2 e-mails to ask me to leave a review.
Now I did, and it's because I haven't the possibility to give zero star that I put one star

If I could give zero stars I would. Been waiting for my order since January. All I have been told by them is that FedEx lost my package. No assurances that I would get my order and when and no offer to resend it to me. Horrible customer service. Not sure how they are still in business.

Bij de levering zaten de verkeerde producten en niet de producten die ik besteld had.
In het vervolg zou het handig zijn dat de shop haar klanten contacteert om dit te melden en het bedrag terugstort voor de desbetreffende producten.

I ordered two bottles of Belgian beer, that I couldn't find in Greece. I checked the reviews after I placed the order and felt a lit bit anxious due to the fact that most of them are negative. I received tracking of my order and the shipment was very quick, as my order arrived 1 day earlier than the estimated. The box was in perfect condition, the bottles were very well packaged, and I received what I ordered for a reasonable price.

I ordered a large quantity of food early in December but never received it. FedEx says the package was destroyed in transit and asked me to contact Dutch expat shop.
I have emailed and emailed and got absolutely no response. I have called but no one picks up. Is the shop still in business? I am going to write a letter and contact the credit card company to claim back the payment.

Vorig jaar feeststollen ontvangen die niet houdbaar waren tot de kerst. Toen ik in november een bestelling deed, heb ik gevraagd of ze er op wilden letten ze niet te vroeg te sturen. Vervolgens voor FedEx gekozen voor levering, aangezien zij super snel zijn. Wel meer voor de verzendkosten betaald. Op 21 november krijg ik een email dat de stollen maar tot 13 december houdbaar zijn en of ik wil wachten tot de nieuwe feeststollen binnen komen. Graag wachten, want ik heb nog genoeg tijd. Afgelopen donderdag mijn bestelling ontvangen en wat schetst mijn verbazing. Drie feeststollen met houdbaarheidsdatum 13 december. Krijg ik een email van ene Heleen dat ze het uitgezocht heeft wat er fout gegaan is. Er zat in mijn bestelling ook iets wat met Sinterklaas te maken heeft, dus vandaar. Wel heb ik na mijn klacht het bedrag voor de feeststollen terugbetaald gekregen. Ondanks klacht, wel zeer goede service. Bedankt Dutch Expat shop 👍

Honestly, I was a bit dubious when I saw the average rating being so low, at 3.1. Though they were the only company I could find who were capable of shipping the drinks I needed to South Korea!

If you're anything like me, ratings are everything and the last thing you want to do is risk a sub-par meal at a poorly rated restaurant or spend 90 minutes watching what you hoped would turn into a decent movie somewhere by the mid-point, only to have wasted all that time.

I went with my gut on this one, placed the order for one of my girlfriend's favourite beer and a few extras. I made the order on the 14th of September, which, now that I think about it, was surprisingly fast delivery. It's only been 9 days!

After the initial shock of tax and delivery costs, I proceeded to the check out. After the payment had been processed I contacted the customer support to ask when the order might arrive. A helpful customer service member named Heleen replied back on the same day (on a Saturday) and here we are.

I don't know if I can include pictures, but everything arrived in immaculate condition and with tonnes of packaging material inside to prevent against potential damage.

Compared to some of those who couldn't leave a good review, I feel like I got very lucky here. Though it was an expensive order, most likely due to my location in Asia, not to mention the additional tax charged to me at customs lol, I would happily consider a future order again from this company :)

My only concern was that it might not arrive before Christmas and fortunately, here we are, a month early and I'm left to hide the Christmas presents with plenty of time left to spare!

Should you consider a purchase from the Dutch Expat Shop, I hope you end up as fortunate as myself.

Ps. If you like flavoured beer, it was an order of 6 x Kasteel Rouge, 4 x Cherry Chouffe and 1 x Cherry Chouffe Can.

I am BEYOND satìsfied. The customer service reacts quick and keeps track of your order. They ship out quick (my order came a day earlier). This was only the first time ordering here, but in my head I'm already filling my NEXT cart
