I'm super disappointed and looking at other options.

DO NOT USE! I've just had a fraudulent card transaction and as I use unique email addresses I know my card details and other personal details came from this company. So it looks like either they have been hacked or using my details fraudulently. Avoid!

Very disappointing
Very disappointing. Ordered something and received the wrong item. After posting a negative review, was contacted and given a refund. Made the mistake of giving them the benefit of the doubt and tried again. Received the wrong item again. I’m done.
Update: was reached out and apologized to, and given another refund, so at least the customer service side is working, even if fulfillment side is not. Raised from 1 to 3 stars.

Veel te lange wachttijd vooraleer ze verzenden
De algemene voorwaarden op hun website vermeld 3 dagen vooraleer de verzending, maar ik zit al meer dan een week te wachten op een dure bestelling en ik krijg 0 feedback waarom dit zo lang duurt.
Bad service and custom routine
A package with 6-7 different food items got stuck in customs as the information on exact content and value was missing. I was asked to handle this myself.
I think for 30 euro I cost for handling and expedition one would expect this to be handled by the shipper, as is usual in other webshops I order from.
Customer service was very unspecific and said they would resolve this, but it is now 3 weeks after I ordered and nothing has come yet. They also failed to answer questions about whether local custom fees would be due or not.
I pointed these problems out in the standard review I was sent, and as cherry topping this cake in customer handling I was asked to change my review, with the package still missing and no answer to my question.
I understand that things can go wrong in customs, proper customer handling should be priority if something goes wrong. Also one would expect shipping and customs declaration to go smooth in a company solely aimed at expats.
Box arrived
They take a while to process but after a week or so I got an email with a tracking code. My first box sadly got damaged in transit so it got stuck in the UK. I contacted the dutch expat shop and they reached out to the shipment company to see what the problem was. I then got offered two options, either a complete refund or a new box to be sent the following Monday (their shipping day). I wanted the box and like they promised it was sent on Monday and it arrived 2 days later. The frozen items are still frozen and the bottles arent broken. Super happy to have some things from home
Schandalige prijzen.
Jarenlang bestelde ik bij Hollandwebwinkel.nl. De service was fantastisch, de prijzen van producten waren zeer redelijk, evenals de verzendkosten. Nu heeft Dutch Expat Shop het van ze overgenomen. Helaas.
Hetzelfde pak hagelslag, zelfde merk, zelfde gewicht... verschil in prijs: 2,63€... Meer dan 7€ voor een pak hagelslag! Mensen, doe even normaal zeg! (Bespaar me de blablabla, chocolade duurder, blablabla). Hetzelfde zakje drop... verschil in prijs: 1,34€. En dat zijn nog maar twee voorbeelden. Voor exact hetzelfde pakket zou ik bij Dutch Expat over de 20€ meer moeten betalen. Geen idee hoeveel klanten van Hollandwebwinkel.nl hier in meegaan. Maar ik ben weg.

Perfect, except for the 3 days promise
The only reason not to give 5 stars is the statement on the website that they need max 3 business days to process the order. It creates an expectation that they do not meet, probably most of the time. In my case it took a week before it was shipped, which is fine. I received it within 2 weeks from ordering, which is fine too, and everything was included, which is perfect. I'll order again.

Delighted to have received my Tripel Karmeliet Belgian beer delivery in Ireland.
It's not easy to get wonderful Tripel Karmeliet Belgian blond and special beer delivered to Ireland so I was delighted to find a website that would deliver it. I noticed some not-so-positive feedback on delivery timeframes for order and sent a query to the Dutch Expat Shop. Got a prompt response from Charlie which put my mind at ease and ordered the beers. They arrived and we can't wait to enjoy them.

Geven geen geld terug, zelfs na bevestiging mail dat ze beweren de retour producten in goede orde hebben ontvangen en binnen 14 dagen me geld zou teruggestort krijgen. SCHANDALIG!!

Waardeloos bedrijf
Waardeloos bedrijf, kerstpakketten voor personeel besteld op 4 december, welke vandaag de laatste werkdag hebben.Verwachte levering 23 december. Vanaf 6 december dagelijks mails gestuurd en geprobeerd te bellen wanneer bestelling binnen komt. Geen reactie, ook niet op chat functie of antwoord apparaat. Zou hier niet kopen onbetrouwbaar bedrijf. Komen afspraken niet na !!!!

Extremely disappointing experience
I placed an order on 26 November, and today is 8 December — the order has still not been shipped. I tried contacting customer service three times (twice through the website and once by email), but I never received any response.
There were no updates, no tracking, and no explanation for the delay.
Due to the complete lack of communication, I had no choice but to request a refund and take further steps through my bank.
This has been one of the least reliable customer service experiences I have had. I cannot recommend this shop based on what I experienced.

Had ik maar eerst bij TrustPilot gekeken... dan had ik alle slechte reviews gelezen en niet besteld.
Ten eerste is de website niet erg gebruikersvriendelijk. Het is namelijk erg onduidelijk hoe zwaar je pakket gaat wegen en hoe duur de bezorgkosten gaan zijn. Ik doe iets in het "boodschappenmandje" en de logica van het gewicht is vaak erg vaag.
Op de website staat ook dat alles binnen 3 dagen leverbaar is, maar uiteindelijk duurde het bijna een maand voordat ik het pakket in huis has. De bezorging met FedEx was wel prima. Maar bij aankomst tref ik veel producten die over de datum zijn! En die waren al over datum op het moment van verzending. Ook was een zak pepernoten kapot. Uiteindelijk wel mijn geld terug gekregen, maar de twee contactmomenten met customer service waren moeizaam (duurt lang voor je een reactie hebt). Dus ja... eens en nooit weer! Zonde om veel spullen weg te moeten gooien bij aankomst.

I ordered Oct 20th still haven’t received any communication even though website says they will ship by 3 business days….
Finally they got back after 9 days, saying products are out of stocks which is impossible to believe, I was in Netherlands few months ago and those salami sticks are everywhere. They just a bunch of lazy people it seems.
