Leatherhead constantly out of order and a Chessington advertises 100/150/300kw as being available but charges at 30.

Good afternoon,
Thanks for the feedback and I'm sorry to hear the units at Leatherhead were not working, I will raise this with our Engineering team for review. With the Chessington chargers, the speeds are advertised as up to 300kW, but things like other cars sharing the unit, your battery level, and the power going to the site at the time can all slow things down.
If you ever get stuck with a really slow charge, feel free to give our helpline a ring and we’ll help out

Ali was great.

Ali, the guy I spoke to on this occasion, was excellent. He escalated the issue and called me back as he said he would. The problem was finally resolved. However this was third occasion I had contacted BP Pulse about this same issue. The previous 2 occasions had been very poor.

Thanks for letting us know! Sorry to hear the card reader wasn’t working when you tried to start a charge through the app. If it helps, you can order a bp pulse card in the app, it’s a handy backup and you can use it to start charging sessions too.

Prices are high….

Prices are high even with the subscription. Unfortunately where I live in sheltered housing I’m unable to have a home charger! So I have to use public charging. I’m disabled so have to rely on your service.

The customer support is superb and they always welling to help you out and they are so friendly and professional
I remember this guy called mukhtar I was stressed that day because I was waiting for my replacement card and I have to used my app but from one charging point to another the app wasn't working so I ended up to call and get Mukhtar on the line so ones again he helped me out so thank you to bp pulse and Mukhtar.

Bp EV charging price per kw

It's probably the easiest way to charge our car we have found but locally one of the most costly this needs looking at you need to reward your customers not penalise them for the service as we are all woking towards a net zero carbon footprint in the coming years so be a pioneer not a hiderence your customers will grow in this sector the opportunity is there for all to see 10+ fold thank you for reading my concerns.

While our rates may differ from some competitors, we're focused on providing reliable, convenient charging with transparent pricing, and we regularly review our pricing structure to remain competitive while maintaining our service standards.

For customers who charge regularly, we also offer a subscription option which provides lower tariffs compared to contactless or pay-as-you-go charging.

Very poor service - can't trust the app/support

New (1 year) to EV's and normally charge at home (low local mileage) but have picked BP as my primary source 'in the wild' - sadly they recently failed big time. Opted to charge at Newmarket (app said they were free) - git there and not working... called helpline to check, yep - dud despite what was reported on app. Chose Diss as next option, app and CS confirmed they were working. Arrived and tried several times, then told they weren't working... then BP charged me 34p for each failed attempt. Yes, it's less than a pound, but this review might cost them a lot more. Fantastic service from Ionity at Thickthorn/Norwich and again with Applegreen at South Mimms. To fail once is unfortunate. To fail twice is a worry. To fail 3 times over a weekend looses a customer. Not good enough.

I was trying to use a BP Pulse charger as my home charger needs a replacement. As a disabled person with a very low battery I was concerned about charging before I ran out of battery power. The charger had a screen error message & code so I called the helpline and spoke with an incredibly helpful lady called Lucy, who reset the charger point. Sadly, it still didn’t work, but Lucy tried more options. I was so impressed by Lucy’s helpful and patient working for her customer support, I would award Lucy more than 10 out 10. Thank you
