Slowest charger ever!

Went to a rapid charger advertised as 300kw but the fastest speed I got was 12.0kwh it was so slow and the charges were outlandish and highway robbery.

The charger interface was easy to set up and start your session but the cost and the delivery speed is probably the worst I’ve ever seen in the nation.

The other issue is that the BP PULSE app wasn’t showing the chargers on their map. The other only reason I found it was it had BP PULSE branding all over it.

Generally a poor experience

Good afternoon, I’m really sorry to hear about this, it’s not the experience you should expect from a BP Pulse rapid charger.
A unit advertised at up to 300kW delivering around 12kW is simply unacceptable, and I completely understand how frustrating that must have been, especially given the cost. I’m also sorry the charger wasn’t showing correctly in the BP Pulse app, that makes planning and finding chargers far harder than it should be.
We’ve now contacted you privately and have fully investigated the charger. Your feedback has been taken seriously and a will provide further information in private.

Terrible first charging experience at a BP…

My first charging experience at a BP PULSE. First charger would not accept any of my bank cards, all declined. Second one the same. Called customer services and spoke to helpful woman who was aware of issues at the site. After 20 mins on the phone she managed to start my charge, but the machine went down after 20%. Another conversation with customer services and another change of charger. Finally after two hours the car was at 80%. Lots of customers there were having the same issues. Not a good first experience, other than nice customer services person. Won’t be rushing back…

After have to ring for assistance…

After have to ring for assistance because the charger was not connecting. They were able to reboot the charger. Unfortunately I was only able to get 6 kw before the charger cut out. I checker the map and all of the chargers in Belfast were unavailable. Useless service when I require a reliable service. Either get your act together or withdraw from the marketplace

Problem with BP Pulse subscription

Gary Deal called me a couple of times when I could not take his call, but he persevered and we connected - then he solved my problem with professional courtesy.

It was the first time I had used a BP…

It was the first time I had used a BP pulse charger. I was concerned as I had been charged £60 then another transaction for £7.29 which was all needed as a 'top up' to get home.
I thought I had been charged for the previous customers charge. Gary then called me back and explained the reason for the £60 charge, which had already been reimbursed. He then explained about getting the BP pulse card which allows the customer to charge only for what they use without the additional temporary charge of £60. Gary also helped me download an app. that helps you locate all EV chargers whilst using maps. In all a very helpful call back- Thanks Gary!
