Garbage hardware
EO Mini Pro 2 stopped working after EO turned their servers offline. It should still work without their servers but I kept getting 3 red lights.
EO Support told me to get a hair dryer and heat the unit(!!). Needless to say, I didn't do that. Replaced the unit (with a non EO one obviously) and everything works perfectly.
Avoid EO, even the newer units, customer service is poor and quality of components is even worse.

Not sure why I’d be paying for a public charger to be fixed. After that, I sent several emails and still no reply. Not sure how they’re still in business.
DON’T ENGAGE WITH THIS COMPANY
DON’T ENGAGE WITH THIS COMPANY. Customer service is second to none for the diabolical treatment of its customers. I have been trying to resolve WiFi connection to their app coming up to a year. Email responses, when they do arrive, smack in the face of stupidity. It’s impossible to speak to anyone on the phone but I suspect they are all ameobas and incapable. AVOID AVOID AVOID! Taking legal advice now, is there anyone out there who wishes to join me?
Broken charger, years of runaround, legal team never replied once…
My EO Mini Pro 2 has been faulty since it was installed in 2020. I've been trying to get this resolved for years. Every time I contact support, I'm told it's been escalated, or passed to the legal team, or that someone will be in touch soon. Nobody ever is.
I raised a formal complaint in July 2025 with video evidence. Support confirmed it was forwarded to their legal team. I followed up in August. Then September. Then October. Each time I was assured it had been escalated. I have never received a single response from anyone at EO beyond the support team telling me someone else would reply.
To make matters worse, EO then announced they were discontinuing the product entirely and killing off the smart features — the whole reason I bought it. So I'm left with a broken charger that's now also obsolete, and a company that simply will not respond.
I've had to arrange and pay for a replacement myself. Five years as a customer with a faulty product and I couldn't get one meaningful reply. Truly dreadful customer service.
EO stops supporting app in 3 years
I bought EO mini pro 2 in 2021. After exactly 3 years, the mobile phone app to control the charged stopped working. After contacting EO support, I was told they have stopped supporting EO mini pro 2 hence I won't be able to control it through my app. Which makes it difficult to control charging in off peak hours. Many emails back and back but they turned it down. Never ever buy this charger. There are many chargers which provide you better controls to charge your car in off peak cars. I will never buy EO charger again and will never recommend it to anyone.

EO MINI NO LONGER CONNECTS TO WIFI
As per previous reviews. I have an EO Mini which can no longer connect to the internet. This means my charging costs will almost quadruple. EO say if the item is faulty it can be repaired or replaced. Surely if the item cannot fulfill the task it was purchased to do then it should be deemed FAULTY!!!!

A company that doesn't care
As you can see from all these negative reviews Eo charging are a company to avoid they don't care about customer service and have a history of making products obsolete after a few years this needs regulating so cowboy companies can't pull support after a few years . Hopefully Eo charging will pay the price in future for poor treatment of customers.
Do not buy from EO Charging
I really wish I had done some research before buying an EO charger. It has been a disaster from start to finish. A terrible product, and a terrible company.
It seems that they have got a good history of selling products and then discontinuing any support. Buyers beware - they have done this many times before, and so they will undoubtedly do it again.
My Mini Pro3 took a lot of effort to get working; once it was finally doing what it was meant to, they turned off the app that controls it. It is now a dumb charger; I have in effect just donated £1000 to them.
To add insult, EO sold their database to another company so that I can choose to subscribe (££) to their app to regain the features that I used to have.

Google the issue to discover EO claiming due to UK regulations the have to stop offering support for the charger and stop letting it connect to the app removing all smart functionality.

EO Charge Disabled Smart App
EO Charge as a company is an absolute joke! Avoid purchasing any of their products. Support is next to none! The cheek to say its an End-of-life (EOL) Product and thats why they disabled the SmartApp. This has impacted all customers using the App to schedule ChargeTime. Now its a simply a dumb charger! I paid over £1000 for this, if I wanted a dumb charger I could have purchased one for couple of hundred!
EOL should mean no updates or support — not actively disabling essential functionality without a viable alternative. This should not be allowed as I did not purchase a dumb charger.
Its like saying if you paid £1000 for a smart phone and the manufacturer disables the smart functionality and says its ok you can still can make calls.
I hope Karma hits EO Charging and their company goes bankrupt!!
Betrayal of trust
I cannot believe that EO have simply disabled the smart charging features on their EO MiniPro 2, features for which I bought the product in 2021. Their pathetic excuse is that the unit does not comply with regulations introduced in 2022 (which, incidentally, they must have known were coming in 2021). This is despite the fact that the regulations specifically do not apply to already installed chargers. I feel incredibly let down and despite attempts to contact EO and request some assistance with installation of a new charger, they have refused to answer. Stay away from this shower, if you want my opinion. (This is the first review I'#ve ever writtin!!)
I bought an EO3 to replace the EO2
I bought an EO3 to replace the EO2 , installed successfully, even charges but will not connect to the ev.energy App. The installer has given up. The Commissioning instructions leave a lot of questions and I haven’t had a sensible reply from either eo or ev support….☹️
EO Support are one the worst
EO Support are one the worst support organisations I have every encountered. They simply refuse to respond, make promises they can't keep and simply don't provide support.
I wish I'd never spent money on one of their devices. Do yourself a favour and stay far, far away from any of their shit.
