I find the BP pulse app is very good…

I find the BP pulse app is very good which allows you to see where the charging points are and recently travelling on the M6 from Scotland to Birmingham, I found the charging are placed well and too far from the motorway to charge your vehicle. Pretty happy with their setup and best thing is there is a subscription model which most ev companies offer in order to get a competitive rate

£60 holding fee-naughty

I use it quite often and it’s annoying that every time I use it , they take £60 deposit! Used it twice last week and my bank account looks awful

Thank you for your review and sorry to hear you find the preauthorisation fee annoying. We do request your bank to release these funds immediately after the charge session has finished. It can, however, take the bank a number of days to release the funds back into your account.

You can use your bp pulse RFID card to start and stop charge sessions without occurring the preauthorisation fee. I hope this helps.

Had a problem connecting to EV charger

Had a problem connecting to EV charger. The machine stopped when going through 5 checks.
The BP woman I spoke to was really lovely and helpful. Step by step through issues and stayed on call until it was completely resolved. Exceptional customer service.

Not straight forward

Machine didn’t work I had to download the app and register as card reader was broken. Still wouldn’t connect and charge had to then call up support who had to reboot. In all took 35 minutes just to start charging which made me late for my appointment. The customer service support rep was very helpful but using machine itself was a poor experience

Good afternoon, really sorry for the frustration caused here, we know how stressful it is when a cable won’t release. We’ve checked the session and there was no fault with the charger. The logs show the release was triggered by locking and unlocking the vehicle, which is how the cable is normally freed from the car.

Easy to use

The chargers are easy to see, the screen has decent instructions on how to use the charger and the speed of charging is good

Terrible start and when it finally came to work while I was getting talked through the whole restarting process it shut down again giving me 32 miles worth and having 40 miles to go l had to close al,

Terrible time, the girl on the phone was very helpful and after restarting the charger which after 20 minutes unknown to me as I got something to eat it turned off and give me 32 miles worth with 40 miles to go. Had to turn everything off and cruise down the motorway at 50 mph. This was a very stressful journey home.

I had an error message with the BP…

I had an error message with the BP charger saying I would be able to reconnect in 2 minutes. I waited for quite a time but still the charger was showing the same error display.
I called the helpline phone number showing on the charger, my call was answered very quickly, the charger was reset, ar the call center, all done in 5 minutes. Brilliant customer service. Thank you.
