SO LET DOWN .....

SO LET DOWN ...... Let me first start of by saying I am not slating Bose products, their headphones are great, but pray you never encounter a problem as it's quite a common theme searching online that customer service is severely lacking with this company...... I had faulty quiet comfort 2 earbuds , the right one wont charge. I filled a form out online and they agreed to upgrade them free for ultra ones as mines were less than a year old...
Im from UK and live in a remote part of Scotland so cannot use UPS (their courier)
I checked with their Whatsapp team if I could use Royal Mail, they advised yes as long as its tracked & supply them with the tracking no and I cover postage...
Followed all of this but low and behold the warehouse never received it (quite a common issue apparently) I provided proof of postage, proof of delivery, proof of address it was sent to.
Kept repeating myself to about 5 different agents who kept stating it was delivered to Northampton Delivery office. After 2 days of back and forward they finally understood that it was sent BY Northampton DO not delivered TO. Quite simple really but when customer service cant even get something like that right then there's not much hope ...
After spending hours and hours on this they agreed to escalate it. Was told wait 4 days and contact us if you dont hear anything .....
Yup you guessed it contacted them again got cut off by an agent and was told the wrong info , next agent told me to wait another 3 - 4 days so brushed off yet again..
Sent message on messenger earlier hoping someone could help but told me the same just wait..... Its just so bad you could not make this up. All because of their faulty product. (Never had earbuds fail less than a year from other brands)
My advice is they have good products but only buy if you don't need customer service ever as you wont get it with Bose.
Like the comment below BOSE YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED . Drafting an email to Trading Standards for my next steps and may have to go to small claims court as Royal mail have provided everything and are adamant it was delivered. I feel your pain everyone 😤
Save yourself the hassle and get another brand from Amazon they are much much easier to deal with .....

Excellent customer service

My Bose Quiet Comfort earbuds stopped charging on a recent long weekend away.
Once I got home I used their chat feature online and a return was organised and the replacements delivered within a week.
I'm extremely happy with my new earbuds and with the service I received, and recommend Bose and their products.

Agent was excellent but

I have a pair of ALTO FRAMES from BOSE. The agent was excellent, and I have no issues with their efforts—they did everything within their power. However, I am profoundly disappointed and let down by BOSE as a company. I have been a loyal customer for years, consistently choosing BOSE for its quality. But this experience has pushed me to reconsider my allegiance. It's clear to me now that it may be time to move on from BOSE and explore SONOS, as they continue to offer support and replacement parts for products well beyond their years.

It feels like BOSE should be following the same approach. Frankly, I feel scammed by the Frames. They won’t charge up, and now I’m forced to choose between being charged £13 for a cable for a product that was discontinued 3 years ago or paying £195 for a speaker I don’t want or need. I paid £250 for these BRAND NEW, and this is the treatment I get? This is a massive disappointment, and I’m left questioning whether BOSE still values its customers.

DO NOT BUY BOSE PRODUCTS

DO NOT BUY BOSE PRODUCTS! Expensive items but no service if you have problems. They had my headphones in warranty since october 2024, no repairs, no replacements. For months they have been replying that they are taking care of it and to wait a week.

Excellent all round…

I purchased the quiet comfort headphones 18 months ago. I purchased the quiet comfort ultra earbuds a few weeks ago. Both products are excellent with no issues whatsoever. Customer communication with Bose is also very good. Will definitely consider more products from Bose in the future.

Exceptional since day 1

I know everyone has their own experiences, some good, some bad but I am shocked at the amount of bad reviews!
I bought my first pair of the bose quietcomfort headphones about 7 years ago. I had them for about 4 years before the sound quality declined and they became faulty. I reported the issue to Bose and they sent me the latest pair of Bose QC45’s free of charge. About two years ago I bought I pair of refurbished QC earbuds II as I wanted something for my runs. They too recently became faulty after 2 years. Again I reported the problem to Bose and one week later they’ve sent me a brand new pair of QC Ultra earbuds. Im in disbelief. In my experience, Bose looks after its customers and provides the best customer service (and product) I have ever experienced. All I would say, if you’re annoyed about your product or customer service, remain polite as I have, at the end of the day it is another human on the other end dealing with your query and remaining polite may be the difference between a good or bad experience.

Appalling quality

Do NOT buy Bose products, thought they were reputable.
Barely used my quitecomfort earbuds over the past 2 years. Went to use them recently and they are now broken, conveniently just outside the warranty period.
Bose will just offer a small discount for you to buy a replacement. Why would I want to give Bose any more money. Joke of a company!
Clearly not alone judging by the amount of 1 star reviews online.

Enough is enough! Never Ever EVER Again!! Appalling!!

Enough is enough! Never will I buy Bose again. Ever!

Purchased a Smart Soundbar 900 on the 17th of May 2024, within four months ownership, and very little use within the four months, an auto update initiated, but the first speaker ended up in a constant update loop, and would not reset, and was totally unusable, no one could fix the issues remotely in the UK, that can only be done in the US, and I was talked through all fixes via the tech team, but nothing worked. I am very tech savvy, and generally fix most issues.

In the end, I was redirected, and I had to speak to the returns/repairs department that were extremely rude, and I had to explain to them what I had done to the speaker! Like it was my fault! After some heated exchange of words, I eventually had to send the speaker to Poland to be repaired, which it was! Roughly two months away in Poland, for repairs, I then finally got an update it was being returned, but on the way back to me, it was “lost” by UPS on return to the UK, the scans stopped at UPS Northampton, see their review from myself!

After more investigation from Bose, a second speaker was being sent out, as the first was now totally lost with UPS, but I had to wait another two weeks to be informed another one was now on the way, and was late due to no replacement stock!

I finally got an Ultra Surround Speaker as a replacement, rather than the 900 that I purchased as the 900 still had better reviews than the Ultra. But Ok, I’ll accept it, but… that was also unusable! The speaker on the very right side was crackling with constant white noise on power up! This was video recorded also a proof, as soon as I received it. I pushed for a full refund, as I’d had enough by now, and I am still waiting on a full refund today.

Since the 17th of May 2024 to the 11th of March 2025. I’ve only had a working speaker for 4 months total, with very little use in between, and in my possession, and I am still waiting on a refund to purchase another speaker from another brand! Today is the 11th of March 2025, and still waiting to end this nightmare, and move on. I will never purchase, or entertain Bose in anyway, ever again!

If you do not believe me Bose, I have a record of the multiple ref numbers. 3 Product Ref numbers, 2 ref numbers I was given for return contacts. Multiple online chat downloads at the end of conversations. Plus the four separate tracking numbers with UPS, the return for repair, the return to me with the history of the lost speaker via UPS, the second speaker to me, and the second returned to Bose for a full refund, times, dates, references, all available!

Two speakers later! And a very sluggish refund!

Spoken to Bose today! The 12th, and now the refund has been extended to 12-14 business days, from 7-10 business days. And been escalated with the finance team again! Again, I’m still waiting to end this nightmare, and no one cares!

Just got an email from Bose. Now the 14th of March. It’s been recognised by them that the refund has taken over 22 days, since the return, and without the refund even being initiated! After being chased up multiple times! You know how to lose custom forever, and build a bad reputation for sure! Just look at all the Audio Forums. Just wished I’d researched further.

Now the 18th of March. And still no refund! Or speaker. Now I feel like I am being punished for their mis-selling of faulty goods, and financial incompetence!

Now Friday the 20th of March. Still no refund! And no speaker to my name.

Now the 24th March, and I’m being told the refund hasn’t been released due to the warehouse not clearing the items arrival still, after the tracking has confirmed delivery a month ago via UPS, so again this is still ongoing! And the refund hasn’t even been cleared now apparently!! Lie after lie after lie!

Now the 28th March. No speaker. Still no refund!!

Finally, after pushing forward with Trading Standards, posts on social media, daily messaging direct with Bose, I finally got a refund, 1st April. And £9 short of my original purchase, and no compensation whatsoever for the extremely poor service, lies, broken promises, no speaker for almost a year, out of pocket for just short of a year, with no refund to purchase elsewhere while waiting, lost personal time on the phone and messaging, extra charges to phone, lost days off, repackaging costs, twice, home printing costs, fuel costs, and one year of inconvenience caused. They do not care! Not worth the price, I will avoid Bose for the rest of my life, and advise not to purchase Bose, research online, much better quality out there for the price. Live and learn!!!

On to my second pair of buds earphones in a year same fault left bud stops working. Been waiting 2 months for replacement. Awful communication and now been told replacement should have arrived two weeks ago. They have no idea where they are and don't know when I'll receive them now. Product good but no reliability

Don’t buy any refurbished products from…

Don’t buy any refurbished products from this company they don’t even check before sending it to you. I have ordered quiet comfort earbuds 2 ( refurbished once ) but the right earbud is not working at all they did not check it before sending it and the customer support took long time to just create a return label . Do avoid refurbished products from this company .

Order not received

Like many others, my order did not arrive and the customer service has not been helpful. After wasting a lot of time with them they still are refusing to resolve the matter or give any indication of where my order is, just saying they are processing it. The item was in stock.

My son spent over £270 on headphones

My son spent over £270 on headphones. The parcel NEVER arrived and has now been waiting 7 weeks for a refund. 3 dates he's been given and not once has he received his money. Emails also ignored. He works so hard for his money, I'm so angry.
Absolute joke of a company. I'm looking into legal action. And I'm reporting them.

Bose quiet comfort ultra

Purchased Bose quiet comfort ultra earbuds in November’24. Unfortunately, last week the left earbud made a loud popping noise and then intermittent crackling. Reported to Bose via the app, they agreed to replace earbuds and issued a return label. Sent earbuds back, a week later received a brand new pair. Although disappointed that they failed in the first place,I cannot fault the service from Bose to replace them so quickly. I hope the new pair last a lot longer.

I was one of THE biggest fans of Bose…

I was one of THE biggest fans of Bose for many many years.
While I'm not sure what happened with their product and device design, it quite literally sucks as well as their customer support
Their sound quality began to diminish about 2014 as far as I can recount.
This was noticed after going to parties where people had portable Sonos speakers ( I've had many types of Bose portable/not portable speakers over the years).
I was like, "wow...that sound is amazing quality, what brand is this??"
Everytime.....Sonos!
Fast forward over the years, Sonos has horrible customer support/service and I had a few pair of Bose earphones that failed after about 100 uses.
I decided to trade them in since Bose has this 'offer'.
I, nor no one I know, could find the serial numbers on either products ( we watched tutorial where to find) so I called Bose.
Not only was there an incredible language barrier with customer support, trying to explain no one was able to see a serial number was impossible.
I was told that not only did I HAVE to find the serial number but had to do it online, they could not assist me over the phone.
I continued to ask questions about what could be traded and was told it was one to one and only $100 off a $300 pair of earbuds.
The dysfunction of the earbuds was the same in each, poor design where the on/off button could no longer be depressed which is a failure in design they are clearly aware of.
Never again will I purchase a Bose product.
Anything purchased in the last decade or so (2012-2024) had failed; meanwhile, still have my ancient speaker from 1998 that (while outdated as far as modernization) works perfectly well!

DO NOT ORDER FROM BOSE.

Just like many others here I have ordered some headphones worth £399 and they have emailed me saying ‘we missed you’ and then never delivered my order. The order states delivered when it clearly hasn’t been, I was then told to wait 72 hours for an investigation just to be told I have to wait another 72 hours once that time frame was up, I’ve now contacted again after another 72 hours and they’re now telling me 8-10 business days 🤣 I have never experienced worse customer service in my entire life. Nobody takes accountability for anything and they just send copy and pasted messages that aren’t even relevant to the issue 🤣 stay well clear of anything to do with this company they are just blatantly scamming people 🤣 they also won’t even let me make a complaint or speak to a manager so it seems like the only options I have is to report them to my bank for a refund and then the ombudsman, i suggest anyone with the same/similar issues does the same thing because you won’t get anywhere with their customer service.

Poor

Received an email saying two failed delivery attempts yet someone one was in each time. Now taken to a store miles away. Always associated BOSE with good quality products and service but looking at these reviews my view of BOSE is very outdated.

Terrible Product & Even Worse Customer Service

Bought a pair of Quiet Comfort II buds and really wish I hadn`t. Within a a few days I noticed an issue with the sound dropping out every couple of seconds. I contacted BOSE and everything went well to start with. I returned the faulty ones as promised. That`s where the problems started. They seem to be incapable of delivering the replacement set. Despite all sorts of re-assurances via WhatsApp chat I still have no ear buds. Apparently I have to wait 72 hours for them to `escalate` the issue. A complete and utter failure by BOSE. Terrible product initially and then the aftercare is the worst I have ever come across and that is saying something. It should not be my responsibility to chase and chase and chase when they have dropped things all over the floor. All a bit sad really. I have spent thousands on their products over the years.

Disgusting service

I had a pair of Quiet Comfort II headphones that were within warranty and therefore Bose agreed for me to return them, which I did on the 2nd of January 2025 and which were signed for on the 6th of January 2025 at Bose. We are now on the 13th of February and I have been running from pillar to post with no joy and countless empty promises. Absolutely disgusting service and simply ridiculous. I have been made to wait so long for the replacement of my headphones. Currently undergoing intensive chemotherapy for stage four metastatic cancer and not having the headphones or the time to keep dealing with this is causing me more stress than I should be dealing with at this stage.

Poor quality product and worse customer service

I returned a faulty set of Quite comfort headphones using the Bose returns service on the 1st week in December. I have contacted them 5 times since and they cannot give me a commitment to send a replacement. The quality of the original product is very poor as it only lasted a couple of months with very light use. However the customer service is the worst part of this company. They keep fobbing you off with misleading tales of investigation teams and apologies. At this stage I have zero confidence in the company and products. I could not recommend them to anybody.
