I just wanted to send a shout out to your team member Lexi in the Perth Office, she was absolutely amazing and so helpful. Her energy was contagious and her customer service was next level. The van I hired was in amazing condition and I had a great holiday. I even got a chance thank Lexi at drop off for all her assistance and I'm glad to have this opportunity to share this recognition. Was given a 6 berth and told it was a 4 berth repeatedly. We have had this before and struggled with the larger product. It was the same this time, had to drive slowly to not chew thru petrol so fast and it was much less pleasant to drive. I told the bloke so many times, I don’t want a 6 birth and he kept saying it isn’t but he lied to me as I researched the definition after I left. We used to love these camper holidays but this trip has made us unsure we ever want to do it again. When I book a certain vehicle, that’s what I should have got. Super nice customer service but lies coming out his mouth.

Easy, quick handover
We are caravanners, so the run down of the Motorhome was easy.
Only disappointment for us was we were expecting a pull out outdoor BBQ on the Euro Quest (which shows in the video) and our MH did not have one.

The van was dirty. Electrical were not working. They tried to blame us initially until they realised there was a genuine fault. Customer service was terrible. This is the first time we have used them. We have hired vans many times through other providers. We have never had a complaint before this. We won’t be back.

Melbourne staff were great, showed us through some options before we booked. Emails were answered very quickly in evenings when we had a few questions before confirming our booking. Drop off was quick and easy.

The camper van we hired was dirty (faeces left in toilet canister, sink blocked, broken glass under bed cushions, general dust and dirt) with the on-board electrical system not charging such that we had no refrigeration. Whilst we identified the electrical problem day one (unfortunately after stocking up with perishables), it was not until day 4 that Apollo finally acknowledged the problem, initially blaming us for not plugging into mains power on the first night even though there was clear evidence to show there was a problem with the vehicle charging system. We had to travel more than 250km out of our way to get repairs such that we ran out of time to explore one of the main areas of Queensland we were interested in. Apollo has only offered a small portion of the compensation we were seeking for spoiled food, additional fuel and lost travel time, claiming that a refund on the vehicle hire itself is not applicable as it was still able to be driven. Who wants to spend their holiday time travelling hundreds of kilometres away from where you want to go to spend hours standing around in an electrical workshop awaiting repairs to someone else’s vehicle because that vehicle wasn’t properly checked before release??? We’ve hired similar campers both in Australia and overseas many times and never had any major issues before. This was our first time with the thl group and unfortunately probably our last.

We had a wonderful 3 week adventure in WA Australia. The pickup took a little longer then expected and a bit rushed in the end as it was busy. The Apollo Euro Tourer van is 7 meters long, so with the two of us we could keep the bed made up and use the table and swivel the two chairs 180 degree to eat and chill, it drove very well with good allround vision. Happy we upgraded to the drop and go package, which saved us lots of time on the return before catching our flight. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Can't wait to get back as there is so much more to see in Western Australia.

Was very disappointed with what we got. We were let down by their delays of attending Repair Repairs and the car was not inspected before handing to us as there are a few issues that should’ve been sorted. The car just filled to pieces on our drive to Western Australia.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, pick up and drop off was quick and easy. The Mercedes van was comfortable and a pleasure to drive.
Sadly thought the camper had not been properly checked before pickup and a number of items were missing, including the gas which ran out after cooking two small meals, at night in a rather backwater place. This was considerably inconvenient as was the missing hose connection for topping up with water.

Apollo Motorhome. The staff at queenstown and Christchurch were good and helpful.

Late model motor home was very clean and well equiped for our touring holiday. Easy check in and check out with friendly staff

We loved Tasmania! Overall we liked our motorhome experience but there were a few things different could have made it a great trip.
When we arrived it was raining and windy so the pick up was quick. And the vehicle was parked ready to go, we luckily only travelled half an hour and set up in daylight. The table leg collapsed as we drove and we soon learned to leave it folded when driving, sand needed to be swept up daily even tho we didn't go on a beach, the plug was missing from the bathroom sink, the kitchen sink plug was rusted off so held water. only 5 wine glasses{no big deal, but we didnt break any}.
Our main complaint was that the grey water valve could not be turned off so as soon as we started to drive out of parks etc people were calling us to tell us we were running grey water. Embarrassing!!
We also had trouble undoing the fuel cap, 6 people tried to undo it and couldnt so finally we had to ring the help line and drive to a mechanic who forced the cap and then apllied vaseline(?) , not sure if this worked as we had purchased the fuel package and didnt have to fill it again. Finally there was a knocking noise under the vehicle and when my husband got underneath to investigate he found a plastic guard was missing several screws and so we assume it was vibrating and causing the knock.

Overall the check-in / check-out process was smooth and staff were kind and helpful.

Ideally there would be a better process to include a second driver that doesn't involve them having to also come into an office in person. My partner went to pick up our camper while i packed and we only found out then that I needed to also be there in person to truly be added despite paying for a second driver.

Also the add-ons like insurance, gas, cleaning feed can inflate the price pretty quickly. I also thought our camper-van could have been given to us a little cleaner. The shower had a lot of things/floaty in the drain that came out when we had a shower which wasn’t pleasant (we eventually cleaned it ourselves) and the floors of the campervan didn't seem very clean so then we had to do extra cleaning at the beginning. Even if the person before us didn't pay the cleaning fee like we did, I think it should be a given that these things are done for the next person by the company.

The camper otherwise ran smoothly - we did pay to have a newer van but surprisingly still no reverse cameras or sensors. Perhaps something to note/ask when booking as it would be helpful and more safe.

Overall happy and had no major issues but just giving some constructive feedback :)

organization at the start , were not ready for our camper no chains we had to go and waste our time purchasing snow chains

Ease of hire, staff helpful and the app on the road was very much used.
