Staff were very helpful and accommodating given the situation with fuel availability at the time and the fact that my partner had broken her wrist 3 weeks before departure; they gave us extra 'cooling off' time so we could get approval from the orthopaedic surgeon to be able to travel. One downside; the handover was a bit rushed.

The vehicle was in Ok condition. A couple of issues - the audio system had a lock code on it, which we discovered only after we had left the town. We called the helpline and told that someone would ring us on Monday since they were closed for the weekend. But I rang the dealer directly, and the lady was extremely good in chasing it down for me in an hour. Very helpful.
Second issue was that the vehicle had "oil change lights" right through the trip, which the roadside assistance said to ignore! Maybe the vehicle should have been serviced and checked and I might have given 5 stars,

On pickup, we start the motor and overdue service warning appears. Dismissed by Apollo staff as „ oh they couldn’t reset it, don’t worry „
Day 2 urgent coolant warning comes on. Handbrake won’t disengage. Mechanic comes out after 1.5 hours. Says don’t use handbrake again. I didn’t.
Day 3 off grid (reason why I hired one with shower) hot water not heating. More calls to roadside assistance. Tried everything, fuses, water level, gas on etc. No luck. Some electrical problems with the gas hot water ignition for the water heater.
Forced to stay in caravan park to get plugged in and hot water.
Next time I turn on motor- engine warning light comes on. I have 800km before me to get home. More calls. Told by roadside assistance to ignore it. If I lose engine power call back. Very stressful trip back with engine light on the whole time. Never again!

We were welcomed on arrival with a warm friendly smile and the whole check in process was made very fast, thorough, well explained and before we knew it we were on the road with lots of information regarding the camper van, where to collect supplies before heading out and to make sure we visited certain places on our journey.
We found our camper van to be perfect for our 10 day tour of SA. Very comfortable bed, lots of storage space, warm, easy to cook, clean and drive.
I'd advise to hire the camp chairs & table as these came in very handy along with an extra quilt (for winter travel).
We enjoyed our experience with the Apollo camper van and staff at Adelaide, Parafield Gardens.

Van was ready on time. Checking in on line was helpful and positive and staff were great. Pickup was easy with all options offered. The vehicle was reasonably clean and relatively equipped for our needs. Mechanically it was trouble free. Everything worked as was expected. We felt there could have been more utensils, plates, bowls, linen etc instead of just 2 of each item. The vehicle return process was a smooth and positive experience.

Our experience with Apollo was great from start to finish. The service was fast, efficient and everyone we dealt with were super helpful, friendly and polite. The camper was also great. It was fitted out with everything we needed for a week along the Victorian Great Ocean Road and was so easy to drive and set up, not to mention very comfortable to sleep in. Thanks for a great holiday!

Provide the service up to standard that would be expected- not just a quick sell

Great experience. Better if we could have a little carpet in front of the bathroom area and also a proper guide that includes everything even how to turn on the air flow on top of the gas stove and how to operate the awning.

Familiarisation, on boarding, admin was all simple and fast. Van was clean and mostly worked well, however wear and tear was evident with cupboard door falling off and excessive noise and squeaks while moving. Advice to refill the gas tank rather than use swap services resulted in a lot of running around we didn’t need. The advice that the app helps you find a place that does this service was also incorrect. Having said that, the manager did finally agree to extend the pre-purchase tank price to us. Van was not charged sufficiently when we got it which meant we had to change plans on night one and pay for a powered site (which was hard to find at Easter).
