Can do better
I first went to check the campervan before booking and the staff explained things very well.
Despite it being an off season, an older vehicle was given.
The grey water tap was leaking a little and there was very little assistance for the same.
More importantly the heater on the Aircon was not working. Despite being on a call with the team for half an hour, they couldn’t help.
I was asked to drive all the way back to Hobart to get it sorted, which was impossible. That experience made the trip a little less enjoyable.

Quick and easy.
Our entire experience with Apollo was simple and easy. Booking online was very straightforward with all the information you need available on their website. When we arrived at the Hobart depot to collect our Camper it was quick, efficient and we were on our way in time.

Confident to handle campervan
We picked up our campervan from the Hobart office and were very happy with how the staff explained and showed all functions of the campervan to us. We were very confident after leaving the office that we would be able to handle the campervan

Excellent experience and service!
Our pickup and drop off were very quick and easy and every one was very friendly! Also, we dropped off our van the day before we flew out and we realized on the way to the airport that my husband had forgotten his headphones in the van that he had stashed out of site and he was able to quickly stop in and find those! While he was there he also found out we had forgotten to pay for our diesel on last fill up (how embarrassing!!!) and they helped us quickly take care of that so we didn’t miss our flight. So thankful! Thank you for a great experience!

Driving through Tasmania
The campervan worked well. Staff was helpful, friendly.
The locks to the outer compartments were difficult to handle.
As the Internet is not always available, it would be nice to have at hand a rather detailed PRINTED manual.

We understand in areas where there is little or no internet that our videos can't be accessed. We do have scripts available in the app that can be downloaded for offline use as well. Faulty motorhome, terrible customer service
The motorhome was faulty and no checks were completed prior to our collection, customer service on returning the vehicle was none existent.

Hired a campervan from Hobart March 2025. PERFECT service, great van, very clean. Long wait time to pick up, but I did expect it - because flights arriving duh. The step into the van initially wouldn't work, but they definitely fixed it to my satisfaction. Would definitely use this company again, and this depots staff were lovely, professional, premises were clean and well maintained with a "free donations" shelf of unwanted food or kitchen items from other travellers- great idea to reduce waste. I got 2 large water bottles and donated a block of chocolate and a bag of chips when I returned. 10/10
