Our family’s first holiday in Provence…
Our family’s first holiday in Provence and it couldn’t have been better.
Provence Holidays were very professional and communicative.
We stayed at L’Hotel Particuleur in Fontvieille. Our host Martine was wonderful. Always at hand with tips on the area and very quick to answer any queries.
The property itself was so comfortable and beautifully decorated. Meals were a pleasure as the kitchen was so well equipped especially with all sorts of serving dishes and a large selection of plates and glasses that it made us want to entertain and we did have friends who were also staying in the area over.

Het huis was fantastisch, maar de chef kok ondermaats in verhouding met de prijs van het diner per persoon
Het huis was fantastisch met alle mogelijke faciliteiten erbij, maar wij zijn niet tevreden over de prijs /kwaliteit verhouding van het menu, dat is geserveerd door een kok aan huis. Het eten was kwalitatief goed, maar het staat in geen verhouding tot een prijs van 120 euro p/p. Ze hadden geen mooi gedekte tafel. Hadden geen servetten en de presentatie was onvoldoende. Het eten was goed, maar voor 120 euro exclusief drank verwachten wij een hoogwaardiger diner. Wilt u dit in de toekomst beter vooraf beoordelen en aanbieden naar verhouding van de prijs. We are truly sorry to hear that the private chef experience did not meet your expectations, particularly regarding the presentation and overall value for money.
We have spoken with the chef, who informed us that no comments or concerns were raised during the dinner. Had we been made aware of these points at the time, we would of course have done our best to address them and make the necessary improvements while you were still at the property.
We would also have been more than happy to discuss your concerns directly by email, as we always do with our guests, rather than having to address them through an online review. This would have given us the opportunity to better understand your expectations and see how we could have assisted you.
Nevertheless, we take your feedback very seriously and have already discussed your comments in detail with the chef to ensure that this kind of situation is better addressed in the future.

A wonderful, spacious villa where the whole family (8 adults +6 children) could all spread out. Interesting and quirky decor and well appointed and equipped. Extensive grounds with a large pool (no shallow end) and plenty to do for all ages. Located in a delightful area of Provence. Overall, a wonderful holiday!

The property representative was also available throughout your stay should you have needed any assistance, as was our Provence Holidays team at our Coustellet agency, located just a few minutes drive from the property.

Everything was easy and straightforward…
The booking process was easy and straightforward. The villa was beautiful as we expected though even better than on the photos. Each bedroom was spacious and the bathrooms were spotlessly clean and modern. The two bedrooms upstairs had air conditioning and were cooler than those on the ground floor. The house has a floor cooling system that was perfect during a heatwave. We loved the garden and natural peaceful environment. The pool was wonderful but the floor of pool was in bad condition- rough sand and stones under our feet. The concierge service was efficient and reactive. We had an incredible holiday and would love to go back. Thanks for the welcome gifts- all delicious.

Beautiful villa, next to a busy road
The villa was really nice, beautifully decorated, nice swimming pool, kitchen with all utilities. 3 good bedrooms with airco.
The garden is amazing, big, with many different trees, plants, flowers, an oasis.
A few attention points: the villa lies next to a busy road and hospital, which means a lot of noise when you sit at the pool or on the terrace. The host was ignorant, not helpful, no warm welcome. There were no pool towels. And the remote for the fence didn’t work. All things that you don’t expect with this kind of villa and price.

Staying at Mas Aurelia in Saint Rémy de Provence was an unforgettable experience for our group of twelve adults. The property captures everything people dream about when imagining Provence. Sweeping views, fragrant lavender, outdoor living, and a home stocked with every comfort we could possibly need.
The panoramic view of the Alpilles was the highlight of every morning and evening. Whether we were enjoying coffee at sunrise or unwinding with wine at dusk, the scenery made the entire stay feel magical. Rows of lavender stretched across the backyard, filling the air with that unmistakable Provençal scent. It created a peaceful backdrop for conversations, photos, and quiet moments throughout the day.
The pool was a centerpiece of our stay: refreshing, beautifully maintained, and perfectly positioned to take in the surrounding landscape. It became our gathering spot every afternoon.
The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked and made cooking together a joy. We went to the markets, prepped, and ate outside almost every night, enjoying long meals under the Provençal sky. Outside, the house had every amenity we needed in the outdoor kitchen grill area.
Bedrooms were comfortable, common spaces were inviting, and everything was thoughtfully arranged to make hosting twelve adults feel effortless.
Mas Aurelia offered the perfect blend of natural beauty, comfort, and authentic Provençal charm. We would highly recommend Mas Aurelia
