    Rang to cancel my policy

    Rang to cancel my policy due to a price increase but the reason for increase was explained to me, and Emily even managed to get my price down a little.

    I needed to change inception date on my…

    I needed to change inception date on my pet ins. Hannah who took the call was extremely helpful and professional and explained that i would have to cancel the policy and start again. She they proceeded to assist me for which i was very grateful. I am a new customer and was delighted with the service. Thank you Hannah.

    Possibly the WORST Company I’ve ever dealt with!

    Absolutely awful insurance provider. Customer service is appalling and they refuse to pay legitimate claims. My vets said they were the only insurance company they had known to refuse to pay for the claim I made. They also ring your mobile and hang up after 4 seconds, giving you no chance of picking up the phone to speak to them. When you call them back, they say they can’t speak to you until the next working day. They are also very rude and patronising when you do speak to them. If anyone is thinking of taking out insurance with them; PLEASE DON’T! Possibly one of the WORST companies I’ve ever dealt with. I just wish there was a ZERO star rating, as they don’t even deserve one star. APPALLING!

    We do need to be clear that claims are not refused because we are unwilling to pay. Claim outcomes are assessed against the policy terms, the veterinary information received and the evidence provided as part of the claim.

    We’re also concerned by your comments about the contact you’ve had with us, including missed calls, delays in speaking with the right team and the way you feel you were spoken to. That is not the level of service we want customers to experience.

    As we can’t discuss claim or call details publicly, we’ve sent you a request for more information through Trustpilot so we can identify your policy and look into this matter further. This request will come from Trustpilot rather than directly from Now Pet.

    Once we have the information needed, we’ll be able to respond to you directly.

    Friendly, welcoming and empathetic …

    Polly was very friendly and immediately made me feel at ease. She empathised with my situation with my dog which was really lovely and very unexpected. There was no rush and the next steps for my claim were explained.

    Genuine care

    Polly was so helpful and showed a genuine care and interest in how Reggie (my cat) was doing following his accident. It’s quite a traumatic thing to go through without all the admin that follows, so when you are shown genuine care from an agent it makes a huge difference. You could tell she is an animal lover just from our phone conversation.
    She was also really helpful in terms of the administrative side of things - she talked me through what was going to happen clearly and explained that if I needed any more help to just call back. Thank you polly!
