They don’t respond to emails, calls and text
It was given as a gift and the RGB is not working properly. Still under warranty and been messaging them for months now. No response. Soo hard to get in touch with the support and warranty

Un avis clair et non mensonger
Je pratique le skateboard électrique depuis maintenant plus de 13 ans et je dois dire que cette marque est remarquable au niveau du SAV car concernant un problème personnel avec mon skate acheter chez eux quelques mois auparavant ils ont été d'un professionnel que peu de marques ont encore à ce jour et leurs produits sont de qualité donc en ce qui me concerne je suis vraiment satisfait et je conseillerais cette marque rigoureusement à tous ceux qui me demanderont où acheter un skate électrique de qualité

I bought one board (WAVE) and two batteries for travel, and both batteries failed around the same time. When I reached out to customer support, I got little to no help.
After a long delay, their only solution was to offer me a replacement ESC at an unreasonably high price, instead of properly addressing the issue. That’s not acceptable for products at this price point.
I actually like the boards themselves, but the lack of support completely ruins the experience.
Would not recommend.
At the end of the day, Exway doesn’t just sell boards—it sells lessons.
Buying from Exway is like paying luxury prices for a front-row seat to your own disappointment.
This isn’t a product—it’s an experience. Specifically, the experience of wondering how something that looks so polished can perform so inconsistently. It’s almost impressive. Not in a good way—more like a case study in how to miss expectations with confidence.
The build quality feels like it was designed for unboxing videos, not actual use. Everything seems fine… until you actually ride it. Then it becomes a game of “what’s going to go wrong today?”
And reliability? Let’s just say trust evaporates faster than the battery life. You don’t ride an Exway board—you negotiate with it. Every session feels like you’re asking, “Are we doing this today, or are you going to embarrass me again?”
Customer experience doesn’t exactly save it either. Getting clear, reassuring support can feel like trying to get a straight answer out of a magic 8-ball—except the 8-ball might actually be more consistent.
At the end of the day, Exway doesn’t just sell boards—it sells lessons. Expensive ones. Mostly about regret, lowered expectations, and why “looks good online” should never be your buying criteria.
Would I recommend it? Only if your goal is to turn money into frustration at maximum efficiency.

When a Premium Board Becomes a Repair Obligation
I went into my experience with Exway expecting a reliable, premium electric skateboard. What I received instead was a product that required constant intervention—and a company that avoided resolving the issue directly.
From the very beginning, the board had problems. I requested a refund early on, while the situation was still simple and fixable. Instead of honoring that request, Exway chose to repeatedly send replacement parts and instructions, effectively turning a brand-new purchase into a do-it-yourself repair project.
On paper, that might look like support. In practice, it felt like deflection.
Each issue was met with another shipment, another attempted fix, and another expectation that I would troubleshoot the product myself. At no point did this feel like ownership of the problem on their end. It felt like a slow process of wearing the customer down until they accept the situation.
The most concerning failure was structural.
The battery enclosure—arguably one of the most critical components of an electric skateboard—is made from cheap plastic that does not inspire confidence. In my case, that concern became reality. The battery component physically detached from the board. That is not a minor defect. That is a safety issue.
This wasn’t just about inconvenience anymore. It was about trust in the product itself.
What makes this experience even more frustrating is that it aligns with broader concerns surrounding the company. Exway has previously faced backlash over battery-related issues, including shipping boards with altered battery specifications without clearly informing customers in advance . Reviews across platforms also show recurring complaints about battery failures and lack of effective support when things go wrong .
In other words, this doesn’t feel like an isolated incident.
I documented everything—video evidence of the failures, the condition of the board, and the results of the attempted fixes. This is not speculation or exaggeration. It is recorded, repeatable, and real.
At its core, the issue is simple:
When a product fails early, the responsibility should not shift onto the customer to repair it piece by piece.
A straightforward refund request at the beginning would have resolved everything cleanly. Instead, the situation was extended through temporary fixes that never addressed the root problem.
Exway presents itself as a high-performance brand. My experience suggests something else: inconsistent quality, questionable material decisions, and a customer service approach that prioritizes avoiding refunds over delivering real solutions.
If you are considering buying from Exway, understand this:
You may not just be buying a board. You may be accepting responsibility for maintaining and repairing it from the moment it arrives.
And if something goes wrong, resolution may not come easily.

I pre-ordered the Wave V2 two weeks ago and haven't received any updates about my order since then.
I won't be pre-ordering anything from Exway again.

I bought 2 boards for travel. One for me and one for my girl. Both batteries stopped working around the same time and I got no help from customer support. Eventually bought another two batteries for my fairly expensive boards. I love them, just not the support behind them. Please contact me at my email as I have no way to reply to comments here.

I recently got the Exway Wave and I’m really happy with it.
The board is lightweight and easy to carry around, perfect for daily commuting.
The ride is smooth and stable, the power is just right, and the brakes feel safe and responsive.
Battery life is great for city trips, and the design looks really clean and stylish.
Overall, it’s a high-quality, reliable electric skateboard, and I would definitely recommend Exway to anyone looking for a good commuter board.
This is one shady and creepy company
I used to be their long term supporter of this brand in the past and the way they operates while scamming customers is super alarming. Oh and they always treated me horribly and didn't care about me and customers at all. This company tries to flirt with one of my buddy while telling him that they liked his name and even stalking him by going to his profile picture and messaging him. Super creeped out. They also blocks people, customers and even deletes comments to hide all the complaints about them. Seriously avoid this company as not only this company is dying, they kept releasing same outdated products that came out several years ago. Look for better brand that has better reputation. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY! They are already dying as a company for pulling shady strings like this. I've been scammed. Everyone has been scammed and now they are pulling another strings by flirting with customers, deleting comments and even blocking everybody. Stay away from this horrible company. Also this company always begs customers to give them POSITIVE reviews. They should never force people to give them positive reviews. Horrible!! Do remember that this is company that is heavily supporting a fake YouTuber with fake 20k subscribers that he bought and going from 200 to 20k in just two days and using view botting and Exway is caught for defending him and blocking people with facts left and right. And the fact that they are deleting all the negative reviews on their official website just to keep the positive reviews... . Horrible behaviour! Avoid this company!!
Battery failure, scam company
Purchase an Exway Flex Pro a while back, the battery failed after a few months. Could not hold a charge for more than a mile fully charged. It was also a safety hazard, since the board would lose power randomly with no warning. Customer support was not helpful, always looping back on the fact that I wasn’t charging it properly etc. When they finally understood it was a battery failure, I was told the batteries out of stock and they can’t replace it. DO NOT BUY FROM THE COMPANY.

Here is my experience. Bought the Exway Wave Riot in 2021. After just a couple of months, the belts continuously snapped over some dirt, they were catching a lot of it, making it impossible to ride safely. Let's say it was my bad. I switched to hub motors, and the ride was amazing for another 3-4 months. The battery had some issues. I contacted after-sales support. After an infinite email exchange where they wanted videos for everything, I was told to replace the battery. 400€ ! I kept good care of the board, and so I decided that it was impossible that it was something I did. I opened up the battery case to find bad wiring all over the place and damaged ones as well. Sent pictures, and they agreed to grace me with a 150€ discount for something that was caused by bad design/assembly on their part. (You can find more of this on Reddit, as others have had the same issue). After just another month, a hub motor failed while riding and needed to buy a new one, which after another never-ending email exchange, was offered to me as it was again obvious there was an issue with the motor. After another few months, the same happened with the other motor, and this time, I had to pay for it. After a while, ESC gave me some issues and kicked me off the board. I contacted customer support again, they wanted me to pay another 150€ to replace the ESC. They graced me again with a 15% discount code, the one everyone gets by signing in for the newsletter. I'm sorry, I've stopped spending effort and money on this brand and moved to another. The brand should take responsibility for what it sells. Never Exway again! Spent over 600€ to fix issues caused by bad design/construction.
ESC wires exposed abd ripped off by small twig
I bought a exway flex pro. A tiny branch (one you could normally find on roads after windy days) got stuck between the wheels and the board without me noticing it. The esc wires are so exposed and badly protected, that the twig/branch got caught and ripped the wires apart. Result, i had to spend 150£ to order a new Esc from exway. This took two weeks to be despatched and then 2 weeks to arrive. Total of one month out of action. The shipping process is ridiculous, there is no tracking provided or it doesn't work but again before then you need to wait two weeks only for the order to be processed and shipped.
Lastly, they sent me just the internals of the esc and expected me to disassembly the entire esc case, which is glued and sealed, re dering the waterproof seal completely useless in the process.

I have spent a significant amount of money on Exway products because they are excellent, high-quality, and well-designed. However, their customer service is abysmal—practically nonexistent.
I reached out to them multiple times via email regarding an issue, and they simply ignored every message. Despite following up repeatedly, I never received a response. For a company selling premium electric skateboards, this level of customer service is completely unacceptable.
It's frustrating to invest in a great product only to be completely abandoned when an issue arises. If Exway wants to maintain a loyal customer base, they need to seriously improve their after-sales support. Until then, buyer beware—if you encounter a problem, don’t expect any help from them.
Great products, Very poor customer service
I have an exway flex, amazing product, one of my favourite things I own, which now sits still as the protective cover for the charging port ripped to pieces. This is a common failure on these, plenty of people on Reddit with the same issue.
I emailed the UK exway in August on a friday and they agreed to get back to me on the Monday after sort me out with a replacement part, when I didn't hear back after a while I emailed again and didn't hear back.
Then last week I messaged the exway Instagram about it and they again agreed to help but the message was littered with spelling mistakes and short hand, asking me to message a Whatsapp number. I questioned whether this was a scam account due to the unprofessionalsm, but it was the exway Instagram. They said they had passed my case on and I am yet to hear back again.
