She repeated herslf multiple times until I understood what I needed to do. She helped me identify the missing share certificates and, and this was the amazing bit,rang me back when we got cut off. A very helpful assistant but a challenge to hear/understand due to her being in India.

Once I eventually got speaking to an adviser, it could not have been easier. My computer skills are not the best but Aldi my advisor talked me through the process to answer my query with much patience and polite manner.

When you're dealing with investments, you'd like to think you're talking with competent folks. Not the case here: besides an incredibly long hold time, the operator clearly had no idea how to complete a stock transfer form. Over the course of our call, she gave two completely opposite directions. When I pointed it out, "click"... she hung up on me.

My initial contact was not ideal, aggressive and forceful, not what I expect from a support team. The subsequent contact (supervisor?) was more informed, pleasant to deal with and helpful.
