Shockingly bad. Bottom feeders who main activity seems to be devising ways to disrupt customers and prevent them from accessing their accounts.

Every time I would call in to do a deceased transfer, the rep on the phone would tell me I need to send in the transfer packet. I had...And the letter of testamentary and the death certificate. It's like they didn't have the capability to see, or didn't care to take the time to see, that it had already been done. Then your packet would sit at book entry indefinitely waiting to be processed....Or they would tell you to send in the paper stock certificate after it had clearly been converted to digital. Dont ever buy individual stocks as it's a nightmare to get it transferred over or sold. Stick with mutual funds from a reputable company where you can get online and handle your own business....Also, many of Computershare 's reps did not speak good English or their accent made it difficult to conduct a transaction.....Sally L Edmonson

A big big shout out to Mr Akojee for unparalleled customer service...your company should let you run classes in Customer service...I am very grateful for your prompt and mo nonsense approach to dealing with queries...No fill out this form, send this document and acknowledgement of email and someone will respond etc etc.And he is a great advocate for donations to Charity shares...we need more like him in this industry.

They are the worse for elderly accounts. They will not help a family member help out . Let me explain- my Mother owns 100 shares of Principal Financial Group. Potemkin wanted to buy the shares at 51+dollars. My mom is 92 and wants to fix her privacy fence and wanted that money. We went to the bank and notarized the Medallion signature Guarantee form on March 18th. We heard nothing no check for the 51.00 per share.I look for the statement that came with her dividend pay and found the checks came from Computershare. I got online and access the account. I had to wait to receive a code in the mail over a week to get into the account. The code was sent to address of record confirming the account. I called to find out what happened.This where they would not help- they just acted like I was a criminal. My Mom talked to them to give permission for me to talk to them for her. Here comes the stupidity of this company. They want exactly the name and address that was used when she signed up for the health insurance policy that gave her the shares. My Mom is 92 and I know she has been receiving the dividends for over 10 years. She gave them the name on the account and the address that was on the account now but it was not good enough. They wouldn’t talk with me and locked me out of the account. I asked what I can do to confirm the account. I was told to send a notarized letter that releases any restrictions and asked to have the share sold . They received the 2nd notarized letter on April 27 and on April 28th they transferred the shares to Potemkin holding company. New York depositary should have sent a check within 7 days of receiving the transfer. Never happened. We will be satisfied with the original amount of the offer but if these companies think I will give up. They do not know me. I have filed complaints with with Sec.gov against each company and Attorney General of the State of Ohio. Someone will hear the hell these companies are putting my 92 year old mother. They need to be held accountable and if I have to hire an attorney- it will for the value of stock today which is 110.00 a share.

The experience was so bad, I asked if they were a fraudulent company and threatened to call the police. I was just trying to change an address. They are so bad, I will be canceling accounts with any financial institution that is even in association with them. If you're forced to deal with this company, I genuinely feel for you. Hang in there. They are quite possibly the worst company I've ever dealt with. And I've had to deal with AT&T and Bank of America. If that tells you anything.

I have a large number of Metlife shares being held by ComputerShare. I also have a life insurance policy held by Metlife. Dealing with either entity is an absolute nightmare. You can easily spend 5-7 minutes trying to get by their idea of an AI bot and speak to a life person. Good luck finding a U.S. based agent. Worse, is their communication with shareholders, it's practically non existent. The initial website is a bit confusing but can be manuvered. I have seen better designed website by 8th graders.. Finding forms or just general questions will almost always require a phone call to someone with you being advised to call back Saturday when they are not as busy. I'm moving my shares to Fidelity. As you may have noted, I have nothing good to say about Computershare..This review is based on numerous attempts to obtain information..

This is the most useless service. Mailing codes rather than simple access online or over the phone. Do these dickheads know it’s 2026?

Their front line service is borderline incompetent. It's taken 4 months of many back and forth calls (2-3 hours worth of time wasted) and I still haven't been able to transfer shares. Hopefully the recent escalation to a supervisor will finally resolve the issue. They do not communicate well or effectively if there are any issues and hang up on you when they don't like what they hear.

This company has the poorest customer service of all time! I went online and chatted with an agent for 20min., only to be given a new number to call. The women who answered was rude and hurried me to get off the call. I can't wait to be done with Computershare!

The most ineffective and unhelpful business that it has ever been my displeasure to deal with. Overseas call centre staff seeking your personal and financial details and then cannot answer basic question and give standard pre-written replies. The website and App are glitchy, slow, problematic and archaic.

The automated systems are awful. When I checked my address they removed some of my holdings from online. They failed to inform me of the need to update payments when one company changed its arrangements then charged a 20% fee for sending backdated dividends. When you reach a human advisor they are helpful but seriously what tech they have to deal with. Do companies not value their shareholders?

months and months of talking and talking to get shares access, they give different directions on each call also if it’s too challenging they hang up the call on purpose i don’t even know how they are in business

Service pourrie sur Internet, le robot conversationnel ne comprends a peut prêt rien. Il dit qu'il te met en contact avec le service et il ne fait rien après 20 minutes. C'est la pire expérience reçu d'un site internet. S.V.P.: Ne pas faire affaire avec eux, il serve très mal leur client et on aucune flexibilité. J'ai réussi à rejoindre le service téléphonique et ils sont très peu flexible, archaïque dans leur demande. Un service par courrier postal??? Pas de courriel?
