Transferring in shares from same company
Mussa was very helpful in assigning my (employee) shares to my new Computershare account alongside the ones (the minority) that had successfully transferred from Equiniti. I can now see my full holding. Slightly worried that this didn't all happen automatically but fortunately I did receive two emails with the two SRNs corresponding to my separate holdings in this one company. Mussa explained I will have separate charges for selling from each of these holdings which is not what I had hoped, having been told the accounts were being amalgamated, but at least I've found this out in advance of selling.
Contacted about dividend from 2015
Contacted about dividend from 2015? No idea why it's took them that long also there in euros so pointless even taking them as going to cost me more money to use swift to change them over. So going to have to send it to a charity which isn't a bad thing but having to wait for contact from 2015 wowsers!!!

Trying to contact bereavement sevice but computerised redirection service did not recognise the share company name or bereavment. Eventually redirected to answerphone facility and then cut out. I do not know what their service is like as I cannot speak to them.

Creating a password didn't work. When I finally find an email address to request help, I tell them I live in Canada (only worked for a company whose parent is in UK) and making an international call is not reasonable just for them to fix their passwords. Clearly no human read my request. Their reply: The UK phone number, or suggestion that I sign in to get help. Wow. Luckily the password thing just fixed itself or I'd literally never see my account.

Awful experience
Awful experience. Trying to redeem remaining shares and the rules and delays they create to not pay are astonishing. If Computershare are involved with anything then I will never invest in that organisation in future.

Help from Mussa
Initial chat with Computershare was the usual bot issue. The question you ask is not recognised and you have to repeat yourself and confirm that their suggested options are nothing like what you want. Only when you can interact with (I believe) a real person can you make progress. In this case, Mussa was very helpful and gave instructions as to how to get the information I needed.

I have been trying for days to sell my shares and have got nowhere, they have blocked my online selling but wont confirm why?
I have called and keep going round in circles, advisors confirm I will get an update in 24 hours and I don't?
After nearly a week I get an email confirming some unknown checks have been done and my account is unblocked!
It has not, they are not confirming what's wrong, or what they need?
This is not the service I expect or accept, I will be going to the FOS as the service is terrible.

Need for improvement
I called to get information and spoke with a female named L**a. Although she was nice enough and very eager to help, it seemed as though she did not know the particular product, my company shares, well enough and that maybe she came across it for the very first time. Also on several occasions she was quickly reading information to herself but out loud, so I didn’t know if it was pertinent to be writing it down. Lastly, the audio and connection wasn’t good in two aspects… it seemed as though the rep’s computer/laptop mic was picking up her voice and not her headset, as if I was on speakerphone on her end, making audio not the clearest… for the connection, it was as though it was wireless and the reception was repeatedly going in and out a bit. So understanding the information being relayed to me was understandably quite difficult throughout the entire call.
Using postal service in 2026
You place the trade then have to send forms off via post to complete it, its 2026, why use a postal service, mine didn't arrive by post for some reason so the trade cant be completed so I had to fill out another form to send by post, its mental, then once they receive the form you may get you money weeks later, if your forms dont arrive which is quite possible with the royal mail then you get a £40 charge. Your better off selling all your shares then buying them back on a platform like trading 212 where you have much better control. Post in 2026, ridiculous

Zak who I spoke to was very helpful, patient and polite. I liked his calm, empathetic and honest approach to my query. He acknowledged my concerns and took action to pass my feedback and question on for a response. Great customer service! On a side note, the automated email I received which led to my call could be better; the email was too generic, impersonal and left me confused.

I 'spoke' (online chat) to a Computershare agent called Mussa, about selling some shares online. I did not know what I had to fill in on the back of my share certificate. (The answer is actually 'nothing' as there is a different online form these days!) Mussa was very patient and helpful, and ably described the process I have to follow.
