I suspect this is a scam service and I would not trust 5* reviews as they may be self-generated.
I feel very naive that I trusted this service and in hindsight realise that there is a money wasting industry associated with online car sales.
For the first and only time I sold a car on Facebook when this issue arose. The sale went through successfully (eventually) through face to face contact. The issue I faced was that on posting the car details I was immediately messaged by several people who claimed to be interested but requested that certain searches were done. When the searches were commenced, some of these individuals quickly turned out to be scammers.
With regard to 'Car Service History' I had a very easy task as I had owned the car from new, but didn't have paper records of the services I paid for. I could probably have gone and got the records myself, but I decided that £20 was a fair price for the time I would save. I gave the company details of where to look and details of a change of registration.
They do respond to emails and I contacted them to find out what was going on.
Two months on, I have received no details at all and like others I have been told that I cannot have a refund.
Steer clear!

I purchased a vehicle service history check from CarServiceHistory on 04/01/2025. They promised the service would be completed within 25 days, but it has now been almost 6 weeks with no progress. Despite several attempts to contact them for an update or refund, they have completely ignored my emails.

I noticed their website claims to have 11,280+ reviews with an average rating above 4.5 stars, but when I searched for them on Trustpilot, I found only 147 reviews with a 3.4-star average and 36% one-star reviews. This huge discrepancy raises doubts about the authenticity of the reviews on their site. I believe their business practices are misleading and may be fraudulent.

Do not trust their service, and I would advise others to avoid using this company.

Scam. Paid £19.99 then an additional £7.99 for an urgent request. Over a week later and nothing from them. Had to sell my car without the service history and will have lost hundreds of pounds. Emailed them five times with no response.

Paid £19.99 over two and half months ago and still no service reports. Their service says up to 14 days however I sold the vehicle without receiving any service reports from Car Service History. Contacted them via email saying I have sold the vehicle and requesting a refund, only to be told once an investigate commences they are unable to issue a refund. Don't waste your money!

I think this service is a scam. For £25 I have paid, I have had no response to emails. The garages I have provided that have serviced the car haven’t even been contacted. All garages contacted seem to be in America?! Car has always been UK. They just sent an automated email to 20,000 random garages. There is no chasing or effort into this. I would never do this again.

Your lucky I’ve given this cowboy outfit one star , paid £24.99 for what I’ll tell you nothing , selling car knew the service history was somewhere stupidly contacted this ha ha company , a week on I’ve heard nothing , Mazda dealership sent me all service history I was looking for , at no charge , I would like money back , or an apology, what do you reckon no chance, do yourself a favour avoid this lot

Starting to believe this is a scam! They have been searching since 28th November, I have emailed them twice trying to find out how long it should normally take but no reply!

I paid for the service history and also paid for the fast track. They provided absolutely nothing in 2 months. Requested a refund but no reply and no refund offered or issued. Very disappointed, poor service.

3 months later and still no reports!

Used the fast track service over 3 months ago and still not received any reports and the last time they contacted some random garges was over 2 months ago. No reply from customer service.

26 days in still nothing my 3 year old vehicle was registered in Glasgow United Kingdom so why are they searching Devon & Swindon and even better New York, Dallas & Minnesota United States. Maybe we need to ask Donald Trump if he's see it? Emailed no response avoid!!!

I can’t say enough good things about this service. I was looking for my car's history and honestly thought it was gonna be a hassle. But these guys were just great. They made it super simple and got back to me quicker than I expected. I really liked how friendly the support team was, it didn’t feel like just a transaction, they really cared. I got all the info I needed to sell my car, which made things so much easier. Definetely worth it. I will recommend to others without even thinking twice.

I was a bit skeptical at first since I've had experiences with other services before that didn't go so well. However, I have to say this one surprised me a bit. Took about 4 days to get my records, which wasn’t too bad. The team was helpful when I reached out with questions. Overall, I'm satisfied with what I got and would recommend it to others looking for their car history.

Shocking service, AVOID took money and 2 months later nothing, ignored all Emails and if you check on the progress they have done only contacted 48 random garages by Email not even the main Citroen dealer or the area in which the vehicle originated !!!

I paid £25 to do a service history check, at first it seemed like things were moving and many garages had been emailed however the list seemed a bit random. Anyway, as it was in process I left it and checked back the next day only to find I could not log in! I thought maybe my password was wrong but trying to reset it told me that there was no account with this email. The online help chat is useless and doesn't reply. I never recieved an email confirmation of my purchase or any updates so in short avoid, avoid, avoid - absolute scam!

I should have read into these reviews more! If you read the 4 and 5 star reviews they are all written in a very similar way. The profiles only have 1 review each. This is a complete scam. No phone number and the email doesn’t work.
After a bit more searching you’ll see that the company is dissolved.
Honestly don’t know why I didn’t do all of this before but oh well!
Just avoid!

I’m still waiting for my service history and by the looks of things, I will never get it but wasted my money.
For my Nissan Qashqai in the UK they are “apparently” emailing the following to name just a few.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue, Medway Scooters, Neadham Motor Cycles, The London Borough of Barnet and to top it all Christian’s Brothers Automotives, North Fort Worth USA. As a London based vehicle they have to be having a joke with searches like these.
I got scammed when I bought the car, scammed by the warranty company when an issue occurred after 1 week and now scammed by this lot.
Not surprisingly my email to request my money back was ignored.
Are there any REAL companies left in this fake world??

It is a scam. They do not have access to your services history. They supposedly send an email out to a number of random garages, none of them are the main dealers that in my case supplied the car.

Any good reviews are fake. Paid for service in November. Have heard nothing since. The on line message service does not work and they never responded to emails. So any review that states "Great customer service" is just a lie. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Avoid this company, I've been waiting two months for my history records to be retrieved and still nothing, emailed them serval times and never get a response.
