Their product almost sealed the fate of my dog giving her a severe adverse reaction. My vet reached out to Zoetis who said they would cover the "cost of the vet visit."
Vet visit #1 was to get their garbage product injected into my dog.
Vet visit #2 was to take my dog to another vet for a "what's going on visit," in another city = $$$
They paid for the 2nd visit, not the shot or the 1st visit which was all as a result of Zoetis, and to top it all off, it took 3 months for Zoetis to "send a cheque" to the 2nd vet because that vet would not pay out without the Zoetis cheque.
I hope that Zoetis reads this note and 100% completely understands that "bad word" travels at the speed of light to "good word". Ensure that your vet does not use Zoetis on your pet.

This company is a scam. I have tried for 3 years to submit various invoices. My invoice matches exactly with the drop-down menu product on their website and they ALWAYS reject it. When I lost my card, they said twice they would mail a new one and never did.

Not pleased at all with rewards, have to submit and resubmit over and over then still don't credit you because of their faulty set up website, its on purpose to beat you out of yur discount. Im done with apoquel its over priced and don't do anything but kill yur pet

Not even worth one star. Purchased flea and tick medication, over priced to start with and told I’d get a rebate from this company. What the scam is , you get a credit card loaded with 12.00 that gets applied to medication going forward. No rebate on what was initially spent at all.

Uncommon side effects in our adopted cat after using stronghold plus 2.5-5 kg ​​(3.5-5 lbs). On March 24th, the cat received one pipette of the stronghold plus 2.5-5 kg as a preventative measure. According to the leaflet, the drug works against fleas and ticks. Fleas and ticks, among other things, can cause anemia (our cat was diagnosed with anemia on March 10th). Two days later, on March 26th, a bald spot approximately 5 cm in size with several bloody hemorrhages appeared on this area where the liquid was administrated. The cat lost its appetite and ate 50 g of food the next day. The manufacturer is forcing a three-dose dose on the customer, with no option to return the remaining doses. Customer service responses sound like AI-generated texts that this side effects're uncommon.

No empathy at all, just generic messages.

Today - 21st of April our cat's neck area looks like a geographic map with irregular, obout 7cm wounds which're difficult to treat because of the wound placemet (no possibility to put collar on her neck, oinments work very slowly because of her scratching this area).

I'm still willing to send you back -Zoetis - these 2 remaining doses at your cost. Take responsibility for your product

Life is not anbout making money/profit at the espense of animals' health.

I will never use another Zoetis on a furry family member ever again. Do your research especially on Librela and a pointless allergy shot. Why are some vets pushing their products so much?

I've been uploading receipts for over a year. Need to use today for cats dental work. Zoetis (Jean), she said I need a new card. It'll get here in 4 wks, but the points saved cannot be used today. EVERY TIME I've dealt with Zoetis there's been a problem. Even when submitting vet receipts. When I told "Jean" not to send new card and remove everything in their system regarding me or my pets, "Jean" hung up on me. THAT'S the type of dealings with Zoetis!

I trusted Zoetis products to help my pet, but after following vet guidance and using their medication, my dog developed severe health issues and ended up much worse off. Their customer support was useless, didn’t acknowledge the problems, and acted like the complications were ‘normal.’ I feel misled and heartbroken — I would never recommend their products to anyone.

I give zero stars actually. Their drug Solensia gave my cat ataxia. How can you possibly use a drug on animals that was discontinued for use on humans because of side-effects? This company has Class Action lawsuits against them. If you’re here, and considering giving your dog Librela or your cat Solensia please do your research and don’t do it.

This company produces Librela. One Librela injection my girl suffered horrible side effects. Ataxia, panting, anorexia, hind end paralysis, whinny, nose bleeds, excessive thirst, extremely swollen spleen, and there is more. Sadly she couldn’t overcome the side effects and died six weeks after one Librela. This drug needs to be pulled off the market.

My Labrador was given a Librela injection in 2021. Our now ex vet pushed it. She had a visit from the Zoetis rep and said it had no side effects. It was also the new wonder drug. My Labrador had been in the car when it was hit at speed. He had nerve damage to his lower back and neck. The accident also triggered Pancreatitis. Injection on the Wednesday, on the Sunday we drove to the beach in Norfolk. He was ok at Thetford. Arrived in Winterton on Sea and he was paralysed in the back seat. His eyes were fixed open, panting furiously. Very hot. Straight to the emergency vets in Gorleston. They had an awful job getting him out of the car. They thought I had left him in the car with the window closed. No, I gave the they his medical records that showed he had been given a Librela injection a few days earlier. They did an x-Ray and tests. She said he had the highest temperature she had ever seen. The panting slit his throat in two. He was breathing but not into his lungs. Still paralysed. The vet said there was nothing that could save him. She had to put him to sleep. Librela ended his life. I told the vet he was dead the next day. She just said he was old. Cody my Labrador was killed by the injection of Librela. So have thousands of other dogs. Neither my vet or the Zoetis rep reported Cody’s death. I did it a few months ago. Even then Zoetis did not list exactly what happened and a list of side effects. I did it last week. Feb 2026.

Please do not play Russian Roulette with your pets life. Because that is what it is.

My 12.5 year old GSP had been diagnosed with osteoarthritis at 11, had been taking Pain relief for a year. My Vet suggested Librela. Unfortunately the research at the time I looked only brought up Zoetis sheets. First month no change, vet said sometimes it take 2 shots, that Librela was buildable. It’s buildable alright in a bad way. Third shot still no improvement, but I noticed he was randomly falling, and dragging his hind legs, Vet suggested an additional pain med. My Ruger refused to take them. Fourth shot at the clinic my dog was begging me to not get the shot. I will forever kick myself for not refusing it and listening to my dog. He got it, by this time the “buildable” effects were:
1) random falling
2) dragging back feet and filing down middle 2 toenails both back feet.
3) random falling trying to get up camp trailer steps.
4) inability to talk anymore (GSP’s are very talkative) his bark and talk was whisper like.
5) suddenly his poops we’re very hard.
6) sleeping and depression.
I searched again online this time a lot of bad stuff came up. More research got me a detox protocol. Lions Mane, milk Thistle, SAMe, Green Lipped Muscle.

I noted in my journal within 4 days of this protocol my dog was himself again. Barking at people outside, trotting through the house and out the dog door. Within a couple weeks he was no longer dragging his feet. He was great for 2 months, lived through his 13th birthday and Christmas happy to be a part of everything. Then suddenly on the 26th, day after Christmas he jumped up on the couch to bark at something outside and then played down on the floor paralyzed. Couldn’t moan, speak, or move, he pooped on the floor from a paralyzed position. This soul dog of mine that never pooped in the house even potty training. I knew it was bad, within an hour and a half he was gone.

I have no doubt in mind that he would have lived to be 14 at least had I not agreed to give him this poison.

Please do your due diligence and ĎO NOT let your Vet give this poison or any other medication made by this company to your pet.

If the FDA would not approve this Nerve Blocking medication for people, why would we give it to our fur babies?

My vet suggested a Zoetis product (Librela) for my dog relaying there were “no side effects except for injection site soreness.” That’s the koolaid the Zoetis sales rep served my vet and I was served in turn. Within 36 hours my girl developed horrific reactions (seizures, loss of bladder and bowel control, ataxia, cognitive decline, paralysis) and died two weeks post administration. Zoetis calls the experience (thousands of us) “rumors”…but we are really victims of corporate greed and deception.

In 2024 the FDA sent a letter to vets nationwide warning of said reactions…

Solensia destroyed the health of my little boy for good 😢

One SOLENSIA injection when he was just 18 months and he got so many serious poisonous reactions.

The most devastating was aggressive osteoarthritis in just FOUR WEEKS!

He didn’t have any osteoarthritis before the injection, I have evidence of that !

His hind legs and femoral heads were totally dissolved and broken and he had two very big surgeries removing it all, so he only have his muscles to hold him up😢 4 WEEKS FOR SOLENSIA TO DESTROY ALL BONES!

Now he is a silent, scared, crying, inactive boy, hiding most of his life😢 and he has many side effects that will not disappear!

The vet told me there were no side effects, the insert stated the same😡even though inserts from solensia in other countries list many severe side effects on the exact same product! 😡

This is zoetis hiding the truth about poisonous reactions until they get caught and are forced to update the inserts so petowners can make an informed decision whether to play Russian roulette !

That only happens when enough petowners cats die from solensia or get severely injured!

This is how zoetis do their business !

If I could give zero stars I would. My dog went through 4 plus months of adverse effects including ataxia, muscle atrophy, sundowning, increased ALT, inappetence, vestibular syndrome .she also went deaf. Coincidentally had to treat a corneal ulcer as well..NGF should not be shut down full scale. My dog is way, way better now so I wasn't old age or conditions that were underlying. It was Librela shot given on July 10..
