I had an appointment at the Prestwich location today and it was fantastic, the receptionist and sonogropher were both wonderful and very friendly.

The scan itself was informative and performed very professionally and the lady explained everything that she was seeing very well, it put my mind at ease.

I had booked Growth Scan in Cardiff centre, and was told that scan will be of 15 mins but they hardly saw for 4 mins . It was terrible weather raining badly but we were told to stand outside. They don’t have a proper reception or waiting area. The receptionist was very rude she didn’t know how to communicate with customers. The Sonographer was in rush she just wanted to finish her job in 4 mins although the scan was for 15 minutes. She didn’t do the proper parameters and was even not able to see the gender of my baby . I won’t recommend to anyone. Very very poor service .

We had a 4d scan booked for 10am today in Barnsley. We arrived in the car park at 09:45 and decided to wait in the car for 10 minutes before going inside. During this time, we got a call saying that there had been issues with the appointment. We rang the buzzer to be let in and were left outside in the freezing rain for 5 minutes. Once we were let in, the lady who was at the clinic explained the sonographer hadn’t arrived due to the weather conditions and still had not been able to set off. This would be completely understandable if it had not been 5 minutes before our appointment time - we had made a half hour journey for this appointment. The lady also said that the sonographer had been trying to set off since 8:30am - ample time to let clients know and let them make the decision whether to cancel or wait it out. Really bad communication & overall really disappointing on what was supposed to be an exciting day.

Really disappointing service. Turned up for my appointment today just to be told it had been cancelled. No communication from US to make me aware before I took time off work and travelled, and now not answering phone so I can even reschedule making an already very anxious time even worse. If I cancelled without notice, I would be charged, but I bet there will be no compensation when it’s them wasting my time.

Friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommend!

I recently had a 4D bonding scan at Dundee Ultrasound Direct, and it was an amazing experience! The sonographer was incredibly lovely and patient, making sure to get a perfect view of my baby boy. Her persistence paid off, and we were able to see him clearly. It was such a special moment that I'll cherish forever. Highly recommend Dundee Ultrasound Direct for their exceptional service and care!

Such a lovely visit here after a scare during pregnancy. Both staff members were so welcoming and friendly. Didn’t feel rushed at all and everything was spoken through in detail.
Will be returning for another scan soon.

Amazing service me and my partner have had a bad past when it comes to pregnancy and Charlie & carol couldn’t have been nicer they knew we were nervous and did everything they could to make the whole experience relaxing calm and very informative. They showed us every detail of our little one, I could t recommend them highly enough we would 100% recommend them to everyone I know.

Had a cartoid scan with Melissa the sonographer in Bedford and got results immediately afterwards. Truly recommend this scan to check for plaque in arteries.

Me and my partner have been to ultrasound direct for 5 private scans so far, they’ve seen us through uncertain times at 5 weeks to reassurance scans up until 12 weeks till today our gender scan at 16 weeks, every sonographer we have had has made us feel welcome and comfortable from the reception room to the ultrasound room! Every staff member makes you feel at ease and safe when there! I couldn’t recommend ultrasound direct enough! They’ve made my journey being pregnant a lot more reassured and special! The only private ultrasound clinic I will ever go to! They are just amazing!

Nurse was lovely. So warm and helpful! Made us feel very comfortable.

the sonographer and assistant were both lovely and made us feel comfortable and assured. We booked the 16 week gender reveal package and we were told at the scan we were having a baby girl however the scratch card as part of the package said we were having a boy which was very confusing for us and our family when our confetti cannon was pink for a girl.

Was made comfortable from the minute I stepped through the door. Scan was really good and thorough! Was able to get all the information I needed!

I had my gender scan ,Holly was so nice,friendly and professional .The place was nice and quiet and very welcoming.Will go back again for another scan in few months time .The price was really affordable and i was given some baby pics as well 😊.Highly recommend.

Went for an early viability scan in Hammersmith and the staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Clean and modern waiting and appointment room. Lots of pictures and videos from the scan available afterwards. The only downside was no measure of fetal heart rate was given - this is done for early scans at the hospital so was hoping to get this information too.

Not a very nice facility. The initial experience was not great, waiting room chairs filthy with animal hair, wanted to take a note of all my bank card details but I did a bank transfer instead.
I would have rated it one star but it felt unfair to the sonographer who was nice and we saw what we wanted to see.
But I won’t be back and we’ve since booked with Bay Ultrasound. My advice is, if you want a nice experience from start to finish on what should be a special occasion - avoid.

Reply: completely cannot believe that you regularly clean. The seats weren’t just lightly covered in hair and dirt from general use.
Also, if you are equipped to handle transactions in a normal retail manner, you shouldn’t need to take a note of my long card number, expiry and CVC.

Please avoid this place. It’s awful.

When I went to ultrasound direct on my first pregnancy last year I thought they were fantastic however I was less than impressed this time. I went for a gender reveal scan last Wednesday. The 3 pictures printed are so unclear it’s hard to work anything out! The scan wasn’t half as detailed as last time either. I was also really disappointed to learn that you now have to pay £1.99 for the online photos & videos. I still paid to see the rest of the images however the link immediately stopped working when the payment went through. I now have no access to the online album! I tried calling ultrasound & also filled the online form in on Saturday in an attempt to get a working link resent but no one has got back to me. It was a really disappointing experience and I would no longer recommend.
