The scan me and my girlfriend had was amazing, we had a 4d scan and the first time we went our little boy wouldn’t show us his face and kept covering himself, so the lovely lady that was doing our ultrasound said we could come back free of charge and get a better photo of him, and that we did the second time round! Could fault any of the staff, they were all really friendly and amazing!

The ladies that attended to me were very nice, they took their time to make feel very comfortable.

I first posted this elsewhere but can see from a notification on messenger that last year they deleted the conversation that was had following this review, that exposed how they dealt with the negative feedback, so here is the longer version. Someone hadn't turned up for work so the scan was done in half the time, so it was rushed and felt that way. Getting to the scan involved considerable expense and travel for us. I contacted them about our experience. I explained that my partner had travelled from abroad especially for the occasion so getting there had involved considerable time, expense and effort. Not to mention extra cab fares as it is based in a retail park and none of the central London clinics offered HD on weekends which it turns out is no better than 4D. Given the circumstances it really added to the disappointment. Having explained this they said they would offer a few minutes to look at the baby as a 'gesture of goodwill' on a weekday at a set time of their choosing 'without take home goods'. The scan had not even been on the weekend as neither of us wanted to lose a day's work and having explained the expense and effort it had taken to get there the pointless 'gesture' was nothing but irritating. They also failed to respond to me until I wrote a review exposing their poor service. The 'growth report' was scribbled out on a piece of paper and had missing measurements and even the wrong gender of the baby. I had a 4D scan done last year for another pregnancy and the images were amazing, way ahead in quality.

Visited the Kettering branch today for a reassurance scan and had such a lovely experience! Alison & Claire were both so welcoming and put me at ease. Alison got some great shots of baby at just 9 weeks. We were over the moon and will certainly be back for another scan (or two) before baby is here!

I’ve been several times to the Belfast branch and I have always found them amazing I attended a clinic on Sunday but I just didn’t feel 💯 confident when I left it just felt very fast it’s honestly the first time I’ve ever felt like this the girls where nice but something just didn’t seem right

having paid a good amount of money to have something checked out in my neck I can't look at the pictures without paying more money? I don't want these pictures sent to me I just want to look at them on the link they give me to look at the results. Strange and a shame to extract more money from a customer who's evidently already paid enough. 'It does say this when you book' blah blah blah was the response I got but I didn't see this to be honest. I booked over the phone also so wasn't told this.

What a shame ultrasound direct as a company let down the good work the staff in the building do hey!

When I rang up to query this the girl I spoke to didn't seem bothered either!

I was a little nervous and unsure of what to expect. When we got to the appointment we were told in detail what would happen and instantly put at ease. I told Sam I wasn’t great with blood tests and she managed to calm me down completely. She was also extremely supportive during the scan. We found out the results within a couple of days. Great service. Thank you so much

In error I made a appointment for an Ultrasound instead of a CT which this company does not provide. I rang and they immediately cancelled my booking and arranged a full refund of my deposit. I was having a stressful morning and they kindly understood my error. Super friendly service . Much appreciated.

Not a good experience with Ultrasound Direct Bury St Edmunds. They took a booking from my wife, without making sure she new they had moved from previous office, which she went to only to find building all shut up. Then had to dash across town to new address in rush HR traffic making her late. Then scan done but they would'nt watch our young son while she was having scan, which only took about 15 minutes. Then she was told she'd get a link message to access her images. Nothing about them charging extra for pictures. When she gets home she finds she has to download an app & they're charging £1.99 per image on top of the £90 they already fleeced her for the scan. Talk about thieving Gypsies..! No mention was made of this before, so be warned folks..! 😞

Rachel, Safia and Stephanie from Rochdale infirmary ultrasound department are wonderful women. Kind caring highly professional. I felt at ease sith these three ladies thankyou. Plus they actually know what they are doing.

I went through a terrible experience, which may have been able to be helped (not solved) if they had provided the scans or report at the time, as they said they would.
Still to this day I have never received the scans or report even though we contacted them multiple times and was told it would be sent from the head office.
This is not a reflection of the people who saw me on the day of my scan, as they was very kind and thoughtful.

Don’t always believe the negative reviews, after reading a couple I still went ahead and booked a scan in Southampton because I needed some reassurance and that’s exactly what I got!

The ultrasound tech/sonographer was lovely. She explained everything that was seen on the scan as well as explaining what my worrying symptoms were. It didn’t feel rushed at all, we were given plenty of time to ask questions and see baby.

After the scan we were given a few photos + scan report and then shortly after received a text with more photos and even a couple of videos🥰

I’d highly recommend them and will be visiting again in the future for more scans

Edited my review due to struggling to get my results sent to my GP surgery on going back and two message, that are not read properly. I need the report sent to my doctor I have previously gave them my doctor contact address when booking appointment and still no report. The report they use is a small square on black background that my doctor would not accept on the day. That was printed off. I have sent numerous email and after confirming my identity I’m still being ignored for what I am requesting. That they send as stated the report to my doctor. I don’t have internet due to blind internet spot in doctors surgery, to be opening the portal in my doctor’s surgery and they need a hard copy. Will not use again to much hassle.

I wouldn’t even give this clinic 1 star if I can, I had a terrible experience at this practice. The nurse was inexperienced couldn’t do the job properly. After they pricked me with needle (blood flowing off my arm) there was no wipes available and they’re trying to find wipes, Very bad indeed. And another assistant lady there in over flowing clothes. Not sure why she was there holding an iPad . She told us that out of 4 clients they only managed to take out blood of 1 client that day. Very unprofessional and lack of experience. After I told them the concerns they said they will refund me and can’t rebook.
What a waste of my day and time, I had took a day off as it was a 2 hour drive for me back and forth. They lack simple ethics and the nurse so inexperienced.
PLEASE ALL STAY AWAY AND DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE.

I went to mums in Solihull which was very professional and you will feel the difference. Very professional there at mums please go there. DO NOT COME TO ULTRASOUND DIRECT

This is my third scan in this pregnancy and each scan I have had Jane has been amazing! I’ve seen the baby so much when she scans me, she’ll be talking to be but she’ll keep the scanner on my belly so we are still able to see the baby.
Jane is also very reassuring, her kind words really do not go a miss, even the lady on reception is so lovely, both always have smiles on their faces. I absolutely love coming to ultrasound direct to see our little baby. We asked when is best to come back for a 4D and we were advised between 28-30 weeks and we both cannot wait to be back.

Lovely staff, very accommodating, i felt very looked after.
