We have rented through Symonds and Sampson for around 17 years now. Karen in Yeovil is just the most wonderful woman ever. Never fails to do anything she can to help us. All the team are approachable and helpful and even when I send emails with questions upon questions, they answer me without fail and always respond to the best they can. I love them dearly and would recommend them to anyone! Thank you Karen and team always xx

Selling my Grandparents Property

Symonds and Sampson were appointed to sell my grandparents home, which was a big thing for the family, having been in my grandparents ownership for nearly 40 years. They acted swiftly, professionally and sympathetically throughout the whole process, and got my grandad exactly what he was looking for. I would highly recommend Symonds and Sampson to family, friends and work contacts, with a special mention to Graham and Bridget for their efforts and communication throughout. Outstanding service in a difficult market!

They have a bungalow for auction, we done two visits to the property and found that the property has multiple issues that aren't in the listing, such as mundic and the property foundation is moving, the property has cracks in the walls going all the way through , we called and after a bit of back and fourth they admitted knowing this but wouldn't amend the listing "Building safety issues: No" when this was mentioned to them by my mum they were rude on the phone and said "I am just a women off the street and don't know what i am talking about" despite myself having bought more then a few properties in my years" terrible service and the property is not mortgageable despite listing

The Staff were very personable, however the sales chat was inaccurate.
The exaggerated potential customer base was also not accurate.
Inaccuracies in listing & measurements contributed to a 2 year dispute with the VOA & Council tax.
We were advised to go for an auction option at the start which we declined. When we did finally go down that route we got no interest?
We were a difficult property to categorise, an issue that was never truly resolved. As a very individual property I can understand some difficulty but an issue professionals should be able to overcome.
Their lack of communication was very evident during a 7 month sale process, the silence was deafening.

In all, a less than impressive service, but nice people.

Great service from James and the team in Sherborne. On changing to them for our house sale things were easy and the house was sold and completed within a few months. Great communication, going above and beyond and giving good advice. We would highly recommend them.
