The Stelrad Touch-up Order No
The Stelrad Touch-up Order No: 141080 in Traffic White arrived in a huge bag but not protected. I was lucky the very small plastic container came only a little dented.
The product is a perfect match for my new Stelrad White radiators that had gotten a little damaged near the nut that joins up with the pipe. I sanded the area gently and applied Zinsser Bullseye 123 plus Primer which is perfect for metals and l had used in my bathroom. Once the primer was dry l over painted with the Touch-up which comes with its own brush.
It starts drying quickly so you do need to work fast but carefully.
Expensive for what it is once postage is added on. But my radiators now look untouched. Thank you.

Very poor quality radiators
Very poor quality radiators; these came with rusted bleeding points which didn't have caps on it. Replaced with another two in the same condition; didn't want to try a third time, not worthy.

My third or fourth order of Stelrad proucts
Good catalogue and on line ordering made selecting the correct radiators and fittings straight forward. Once ordered the items were here very quickly and well packaged to prevent transit damage.
My latest order was the third or fourth I have placed and did so because earlier orders had been so well dealt with and the quality of the products has always been good.

Should have been better…
Ordered Four Radiators which I was informed were to arrive on the Friday. By chance noticed on my emails on Wednesday they were arriving that morning which was not possible as I was working. Eventually after failed delivery managed to arrange for these to be delivered on the Friday. Checked on arrival to find one radiator with several chips to the enamel so had pay out for some paint to hopefully avoid these rusting.

Delivery and packaging REALLY GOOD
Have always bought Stelrad rads over the years, but usually through merchants, so I rate their products. This one I got direct from Stelrad and I was not disappointed. What made this experience excellent for me was: Good price direct from Stelrad, the ability to pick a delivery day that was hit, two delivery guys carrying the rad as opposed to dragging it down the road, and it being well wrapped in 2 layers of cardboard box. The last points were extremely important as I have had rads delivered before that have been damaged which really screws with the schedule. Seems a simple point but things arriving on time and in perfect condition is absolutely vital. Excellent all round, well done.

Shocking customer service
second time ordering from stelrad and on both occasions the delivery was cancelled on the morning of delivery. The lady I spoke to was very rude and said it wasn't their fault and wasn't interested.

Your order left Stelrad on time, but an unexpected routing error by our delivery partner, AIT, sent the goods to the wrong depot. As soon as we were made aware of the mistake, we worked with them to secure delivery the following day and instructed them to leave the items in your designated safe place.
We have also refunded your delivery fee as a goodwill gesture. We understand your frustration, especially regarding your phone call with us, and we are using your comments to improve our customer service.
