I rang Amy to ask for help in getting the correct covers for my already purchased radiators. Ii gave her the order number but i still got top covers with tabs on but no holes in the sides for them to fit to. Also she said it didn't matter if i bought left or right sides as they are interchangeable. They are not as they have fittings at one end and also won't fit the top cover.

Radiators arrived as scheduled but scratched before being dispatched
Radiators turned up as scheduled, but on unpacking a few weeks later when plumber was available one had a visible chip and a scratch. Too late to return as work schedule could not be changed. Disappointing

The small radiator arrived with no…
The small radiator arrived with no damage to packaging. On opening, the 2 corners were damaged, obviously in the factory. Also using the stelrad messaging system, it wouldn’t send!

the radiator i ordered came on the day…
the radiator i ordered came on the day i was given, but because they have changed radiator sizes i had to order one 50 mm to small for my existing pipework so had to find a tail to fit,radiator is now in position and connected, and seems ok on the test heating run i gave it.

Loose grill and side panels on K2
I replaced an old Stelrad K2 with a like for like replacement.
The body of the radiator is faultless.
However, the top grill and side panels flap about loose with no obvious way to tighten them.
Older Stelrads dont have this problem,

Quality radiator
I’m 72 years old retired plumber and heating engineer starting work at 15 I stopped at the age of 70 can’t remember the first stelrad I fitted but quite a few over the years and different makes but with stelrad they were different in quality and style of which other manufacturers of have copied if you fit stelrad you know with the correct preservative in the system it’s going to last over 20 years they have been around for a long time now and I think they will be around for a lot longer

Have heard reports of damaged radiators…
Have heard reports of damaged radiators delivered from other firms. Stelrad was well packed and arrived in good condition. The fitters are nw scheduled for August - so cannot comment on it working.
