All inclusive ski vacation
From the sales process, to the airport and transfer team, ski rentals and lessons, everything was great with Ski Beat, but the ski chalet host was amazing, doing everything on her own, from cooking us breakfast every morning, and a different cake for afternoon tea, and a delicious dinner every night. Comfortable accommodation and nice lounge area were the cherry on top. All in all, a great holiday for our group!

Our chalet hostess, Olivia, was amazing. She happily took care of all our needs and was extremely helpful with advice on where to ski, places to visit and where to eat. Also very sociable with everyone.

Alan and Natalie were great hosts
Alan and Natalie were great hosts. The assistance we asked for in advance at the airport was not great. My partner pushed the wheelchair through Gatwick airport in both directions. At lyon airport no wheelchair arrived for a good half hour after landing and they wouldn't take me out of the airport to the coach. Luckily your airport agent was very helpful and took me, so my partner could bring the luggage. Again no wheelchair on way back until going through check in at lyon. Then the airport organised one

We’re very sorry to read about the difficulties you experienced with wheelchair assistance at both Gatwick and Lyon airports. We understand how stressful and disappointing this must have been, particularly as assistance was requested in advance. While airport assistance is managed by the airports themselves, it’s clear that the service you received fell well below expectations.
We’re glad our airport agent was able to support you on arrival in Lyon so you could get to the coach, but we appreciate that this should not have been necessary. Your feedback is extremely important to us and will be shared with our teams and partners so we can review this and work to improve the experience for future guests.

Location was excellent, host, the food the transfers, all great, the only slight issue was waiting for another flight to arrive before the transfer set off, but I did not really affect the holiday overall.

Ski beat excellent from start to finish.
From first booking to transfer home ski beat were excellent.
Through all the travelling, someone from ski beat is in contact with texts and updates regarding flights and transfers, much better than some other ski operators who seem to wing it and hope guests get on correct buses etc.
ski beat staff are on the ground both on arrival and departure to make sure you get to the right place.
Stayed 2 weeks in Val Thorens, in chalets renard and ibex, both very good, fairly spacious and clean & tidy.
My two hostesses for the two weeks were Freya and Hannah, both brilliant, very knowledgeable/helpful. Especially good to me as a relatively picky eater, making sure I was happily fed and watered every night. A mention to the other ski beat girls in resort, Jess and Georgie, who were also great. The whole team in VT deserves high praise.
All in all I had a lovely 2 weeks, and will definitely book with Skibeat again.

A really friendly team of customer…
A really friendly team of customer focused people. Very personable and everybody we spoke to or met were keen for us to have the best holiday possible.
The only downside to our experience was that we had to leave at 4am for our flights both when leaving and returning home but the upside to that was that there was minimal road traffic when travelling to the airports.
I definitely recommend Ski Beat to others.

A week in Les Arcs with SkiBeat
I've just come back from a week's holiday in a Catered Chalet in Les Arcs and, overall, I've been very happy.
What was disappointing was that, as a single traveller, SkiBeat wanted to charge me extra for being one person in a two person room and only dropped the supplement about three days before the flight was due to leave.
This also meant that they ended up with two empty rooms in the Chalet which they probably could have filled with other singles and at least got *some* money for them instead of none.
The host, Alan, was friendly and very helpful, managing to deal with my limited tastes in food at short notice, which was very welcome.
There were a couple of minor niggles that stop SkiBeat getting five stars, firstly, although we were travelling BA who allow a carry on bag and a backpack, SkiBeat's information said we could only have *one* carry on bag, meaning I had to pack my ski boots in my suitcase which was inconvenient.
Also there was no Rep on the coach to the resort and it was around a 3 hour trip with no refreshment/ toilet break which could have been problematic.
Apart from this, though, I enjoyed my experience with them and, if they'll stop charging single people supplements for double rooms, I'll certainly consider them for my next ski holiday.

With regard to single room supplements, rooms are normally priced on a two per room basis, which can make accommodating solo travellers more complex, particularly during peak periods. Where availability allows, we do try to review and reduce supplements closer to the departure, as happened in your case.
We would also like to clarify the baggage allowance. The pre-travel information we provided was correct: 23kg hold luggage and 10kg hand luggage, in line with BA’s policy. We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused by this misunderstanding.
Regarding the coach transfer, while a SkiBeat representative is not always present on every transfer, your comments about the length of the journey and the lack of a comfort stop have been noted and shared with our operations team.
We’re pleased that, despite these niggles you had, you enjoyed the Ski Beat holiday with us and we hope to welcome you back again in the future.
