From mini bus to tour coach the organization was impeccable. The drivers were great. The hotel was excellent. The room had usb charging points. The bar was excellent, the beer and the pizza were nice. The bed was comfy and the shower was hot.

The great thing was the food was nice
The great thing was the food was nice.
However the bad thing's followed,
The lift was out of action, the light above the sink in the bathroom was out of action, had big problems gaining access to the window, and the fan in the room,as you needed to climb up over the bed to reach them, which I couldn't do, because of my arthritis, and the shower was leaking..
So after over going with Shearings over around 6 holidays, sorry to say, this one was the worst one.
The bed was a double/king-size one.
It was positioned fully flush within the full area of the room, so as not being able to get around to outside of the bed to get to the window, or the fan
The fan was positioned right up to the ceiling, which I couldn't reach.

Booking was straightforward
Booking was straightforward, the £1.00 deposit reassuring and whoever I spoke to on the phone with queries was always polite and helpful. However, I would have preferred to get the final travel details a lot earlier ( eg for booking a taxi) and also a paper copy as we don't have a printer.
It was good not to have to worry about travel arrangements or the driving. Our driver was excellent with a very good knowledge of the Isle of Man having visited it on behalf of the company many times. Parking the coach on the ferry took a lot of skill. He was very knowledgeable about the island and we found it a fascinating place
However travelling down to Leeds and then having to travel back up to Heysham to catch the ferry made the day very long. Similarly for the return journey. Also as we arrived back at the Leeds service station early it meant we had to wait over an hour for our connecting coach. Thankfully it wasn't raining as our luggage was waiting outside.
The hotel was disappointing, though well located in Ramsey and comfortable enough, it was characterless and the evening meals were mediocre. The staff, though, were good.
We're currently in two minds as to whether we'll book another coach holiday.

Dear Shearings Holidays Customer Service Team,
We have recently returned from a coach holiday with Shearings to KRK Island Croatia and we wanted to take the time to write and express our sincere appreciation for what was an extremely enjoyable and memorable experience.
In particular, we would like to recognise Marco and Harley, our two drivers, whose professionalism, courtesy, patience, and genuine care for their passengers stood out throughout the entire trip.
Both Marco and Harley were exceptional ambassadors for Shearings. They conducted themselves at all times in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner and went out of their way to make sure that passengers were comfortable, informed, and looked after.
Driving a coach full of passengers is a considerable responsibility, and both drivers demonstrated that they understood this. Their driving was calm, safe, and professional, giving passengers confidence and allowing everyone to relax and enjoy the journey. They also showed great consideration when dealing with passengers, whether helping with luggage, answering questions, or simply taking the time to make sure everyone was okay.
What particularly impressed us was their attitude. They were approachable, polite, and respectful to everyone. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble, and they maintained their professionalism even when dealing with the inevitable pressures that can come with a busy coach holiday.
Marco and Harley are, in our opinion, a credit to Shearings Holidays. They demonstrated exactly the sort of standards we would expect from drivers representing a well-established holiday company. Their professionalism and customer care should, quite honestly, be regarded as a benchmark for all Shearings drivers to follow.
A coach driver is often one of the first and last members of the holiday company that passengers encounter, and their attitude can have a huge impact on the overall holiday experience. Marco and Harley understood this perfectly. They didn't simply drive the coach from one destination to another; they contributed to making the whole holiday a pleasant experience for the passengers.
We would therefore ask Shearings management to ensure that Marco and Harley receive the recognition they deserve. Staff who demonstrate this level of commitment, professionalism, courtesy, and care should be valued and acknowledged.
After experiencing their excellent service, we would have absolutely no hesitation in travelling with Shearings again, particularly knowing that drivers such as Marco and Harley represent the company.
Well done, Marco and Harley, and thank you both for helping to make our holiday such an enjoyable one.
You are a credit to yourselves and to Shearings Holidays, and we sincerely hope the company recognises what an asset you are.

Our rooms in a couple of the hotels were not to the standard that we were expecting, but the food was pretty good at all of them.

We had amazing time, Will the driver was absolutely amazing guy. He kept us all entertained throughout our holiday. He was so knowledgeable in where he was going, made sure we had a lot of breaks throughout. Will interacted with us all which was nice to see.
