Phil is a very committed recruiter and always goes the extra mile to get arrangements tied down and finalised.
Working with Phil to get this new role was an absolute please and recommend others to try Roc search, they won't let you down.

This agency is very unprofessional!!!
Ametuers school leavers has more sense and manners than this bunch of clowns who do not deserve to be in a circus either.

Ruth Amoagyei contacted me about a job then she replied I need references so I gave Ruth Amoagyei them. Trying to get hold of Ruth Amoagyei was a absolute nightmare with the rude people who takes messages (For the fun of it) and hangs up the phone on you.
Finally got hold of Ruth Amoagyei she said she’s got my references and the job is no longer available. I’ve just contacted my old boss I used to work for and he said no one has contacted him for no reference so I smell something here Ruth Amoagyei is not to be trusted at all!!!
Dave who works here as well is a absolute nightmare as well I put a google review about a company I went for a job interview and he’s asking me why I left a negative review for the company and didn’t sound too happy.
Well Dave I’m entitled to my opinions and will not remove bad or Good reviews after all it’s good for other to be aware of good and the bad.
If they call or email you don’t bother waste your time because these unprofessional people won’t help you get a job.
David I will not remove this review like you asked me to do because that’s what Google reviews are for to help others.
Update 15th July 2026 Louis Willis-Falkiner contacted myself about a role now he said before I send your details to the employer he needs 2 references which I did provide, then I called him on the 16th July 2026 and he said my 2 references that I provided they didn't want to give a reference. Oh my gosh what a liar as I've spoken to the 2 people that I provided for the references and they said no one contacted them. These guys at Roc Search are all liars!!!!

I interviewed for a role through Roc Search and was told I’d get feedback the next day. Two weeks passed with nothing. I emailed Luke — no reply. When I called, I was told he’d already gone home for the weekend, and the next time I called he was off again.

The lack of communication and accountability was really disappointing. Based on this experience, I won’t be using Roc Search again.

James managed to secure a role for me . He did all the hard work to make sure things moved smoothly and was always available if I had any questions .

I think they need to rename themselves to WHAT A CROC! Most of the claims are just that! I saw NO IMPROVEMENT what-so-ever. I would have had better luck with kindergarten paste. SAME ON THIS COMPANY!! Who regulates this stuff? SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!

This was my first time navigating a recruitment process like this, and Korin made everything straightforward from start to finish. From initial discussions on a position that was slightly outside of my CV detail; Clarke assisted completely with a highly active and preemptive set of discussions by phone prior securing the interview, introductions at interview and follow up on securing the role.
It was a seamless and highly professional recruitment service.
Clarke was instrumental in gearing myself up to the individual whom I was being interviewed by, whilst feeding forward details we were openly discussing in a very friendly a courteous way. I certainly felt that I was listened to and felt heard, this alongside feeding forward details that would have set up the interview in the proper way to both parties on my skill set and the roles requirements in detail.
I'm very impressed with the way Roc and specifically Clarke operate. I will highly recommend Roc as a recruiter in the future for highly technical project roles. Kudos and thank you! 🙂

So far so good. I’ve been working with Roc-Search for a couple of weeks and can’t fault them yet.

Phil Boardman has been very helpful in keeping me updated and aiding in any concerns or questions I have. Very friendly and approachable and happy to let me get in touch if needed.

Timesheets are easy to understand and use, and Phil checks in regularly to make sure I’m in the know regarding all aspects from Roc-Search’ side (something other agency’s don’t do enough)

If this attitude continues from their side, I have no doubts I’ll be happy to work with them well into the future.

I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience with Roc Search, which I feel compelled to share to warn other job seekers.

Someone from Roc Search contacted me after reviewing my profile, stating I was a great fit for a cybersecurity role they were recruiting for. The caller spoke very quickly and did not clearly introduce himself, and I was unable to catch his name. I asked him to follow up with an email outlining the job details and his full contact information—neither of which I ever received.

At the end of the call, he asked for two references: one from my current employer and one from my previous role. I questioned why references were needed at such an early stage, especially since I had not confirmed interest in the position or even had an interview. He assured me this was just part of their process and that the referees would not be contacted without my permission.

However, a few days later, I was shocked to learn that Roc Search had contacted my current employer without my consent. They attempted to speak to my manager about me—stating that I was looking to leave—and even asked who handles recruitment at my company. This not only breached my trust but also put my current job at risk.

I am deeply angered and disappointed by this behaviour. It is completely unacceptable to contact someone’s employer without consent—especially when no job offer or formal interview has taken place. It feels like Roc Search is more interested in fishing for leads and business opportunities than genuinely supporting job candidates.

After looking into other reviews, I found that I’m not alone—this has reportedly happened to others as well.

My advice: Never give Roc Search your reference details unless you have a confirmed job offer and have given full consent. Be very cautious when dealing with them.

Patrick Goodrich contacted me with a job opportunity that he had. During the first call he seemed to be more interested in finding out more about the companies I worked before and who they were using to recruit resources rather than focusing on the role he had available for me.

He asked me for two references for the specific role which I gave. Two days later he called me saying the role is not available anymore and my references are calling me saying that Patrick is calling them asking for information about where they are working and how they recruit resources and asking again for references.

Waste of time! avoid.

Stay away from this agency

I have been contacted multiple times by
Clarke Woollam for a few jobs now at the same energy plant. Clarke tells me the client wants me and to start ASAP and he will get back to me about a start date. I wait and wait, I contact him by e-mail to find out what is happening. No reply to any of my e-mails. This is the second time this has happened so I'm not that impressed with this company.

Conail Gallagher is great and he act fast to keep track the whole employment process, really appreciate it.

Avoid this recruitment Agency at all costs, they sell you a pipe dream but just use you for your contacts.

Luke at ROC-SEARCH called me up a couple weeks ago regarding a 2nd/3rd line position in my local area (literally the perfect role, everything I had been looking for), he said he’d be in touch with a job description and we’ll go from there… bare in mind i’d spent the past 15 minutes answering all of his questions.

Two whole days go by, and still heard nothing back so I call Luke myself and ask what the delay is - he apologised, claimed that he’s just stepping out for lunch, and that he’ll email me straight afterwards.

A week or so later (after multiple phone calls in which I couldn’t get through to him because he’s ’busy’ and my emails not getting any replies) i’ve come to the conclusion that he lied about the position to gain my references so he can gather more work - as my reference has mentioned he has received a call from him but was asking if he has any work.

This is not how to run a recruitment agency, you don’t call someone (who’s desperate for a role), sell them a dream & then completely disappear off the face of the earth. Scummy.

Mein Agent Herr Zeiler war wirklich richtig gut. Ich hatte Kontakt mit verschiedenen Anderen, aber hier hat für mich einfach die Chemie gestimmt von Beginn an.
Ich denke, der größte Scharm war für mich, dass um mich als Klienten, wenn man so will, nicht geworben wurde, sondern mir einfach kurz und knackig sachlich informativ, Eine Idee, ein Angebot vorgestellt wurde. So ließ sich aus meiner Sicht, meine neue berufliche Zukunft viel besserdiskutieren, da ich niemals das Gefühl hatte, dass der Vertragsabschluss im Vordergrund steht.
Die Gespräche waren von Beginn an konstruktiv und in ihrer Sache von Herrn Zeiler auf den Punkt gebracht. Fragen konnten immer sachlich geklärt werden, gut erreichbar und wie gesagt, alles kurz und knackig.

The guys at Roc search helped me secure a role and relieved a lot of the stress during the whole experience of applying for a job. Everyone is really lovely, friendly and professional, they kept me up to date all the time and helped me be more confident particularly during the interview process. Thank you to the whole team!
