Technical Support When it Matters Most
When I called in this morning I had a phone completely infected with virus malware. I was greeted by Jalynn, who was very efficient with problem diagnosis and forwarding me to Tech Support representative, Nierra. PureTalk has been my cell provider for a few years now and the service has always worked well for me. Just now I called up customer service for an issue with my voicemail system and I talked to a real English speaking customer service representative, and she was able to help resolve the issue within a couple minutes. Horrible! Don’t make the switch!
Horrible! I have been thinking of making the switch from AT&T for a year or so. I finally made the move and regret it! An absolute disaster. Horrible communication. The company claims great customer service. I had the opposite. I signed up for service. My credit card was charged. After a few days of no communication I find out that my account is ‘locked’ and ‘under review.’ No notification whatsoever. No timeline. No one to speak with. Nothing. They took my money and haven’t provided me with any communication.

I tried to purchase their plan with a lifetime price guarantee. When I checked the status with my order number, it said "confirmed fraud"
What? Why? Same address for many years, same phone number for decades, same card number for a very long time. Charged my card, then refunded it. No explanation. Customer service was polite, but they could only read a statement from some kind of fraud team.
I have no idea why they would call me a fraud for no reason, but they didn't even reach out to me to even attempt to clarify anything that seemed wrong to them. Very rude, and quite insulting.

The company has a love/no love…
The company has a love/no love relationship with me. I love the friendliness of the customer service associates. I love the principles that Pure Talk stands by. But I don’t love the way the company handcuffs their staff as well as customers from doing business because of unrealistic company rules. Hopefully those standards will change allowing for a stronger working relationship with customers.
