I have no problems with the food. I have problems with the app.

The map / location service needs some major improvements; the past few times the delivery driver couldn’t find my address because the map displays my location away from where I actually am.

Also, the app doesn’t have a contact us feature; even using the website, the contact us feature doesn’t go anywhere, like the link is broken.

Not the company that it used to be!
Nearly £27 for a pizza with 12 slices, luckily found the "special deal" so our pizza was only £22, what a bargain.
Honestly, it's been a few years since I ordered, and I used to think the sizes of the pizzas and the cost was fair.
So a few years later, ordered again, spent the money, was expecting a large pizza as that's what most other companies offer, the pizza was not worth the money!
The pizza seems to be lacking in cheese too, compared to how they used to be.
I won't be using this company again for food, crazy prices, better tasting pizzas out there nowadays for a fraction of the price.

The worst customer service ever! I called to place an order they hang up the phone on me. I called the second time and they take took my order but no name and no idea if they took the right order

What hasn’t gone wrong. It used to be good and then over the years, fewer topping, dropped the signature garlic butter cups, the crust is dry, dry, it just tastes old and tbh, shite. It’s nothing like it used to be. Corporations making further and further cuts to increase their bottom line. 100%

I’d like to warn future generations about the mistake I made: ordering the sourdough pizza from Papa Johns.

The delivery was absolutely fine—pizza arrived on time from just eat. Intact, and looking innocent enough. Unfortunately, that’s where the good news ends.

The pizza itself was genuinely awful. I’m not sure what happened in the kitchen, but the sourdough base had the texture and personality of a piece of cardboard that had recently lost the will to live. 🍕😂

I went in expecting a delicious, slightly chewy sourdough crust. Instead, I got something that made me question my life choices and briefly consider whether I should apologise to the delivery driver for accepting it.

Save yourself the disappointment. The delivery was great, but the pizza was a crime against sourdough.

Learn from my mistake: if you see “sourdough” on the Papa Johns menu, keep scrolling. Your future self will thank you.

Absolutely disgusting hardly any toppings looked like the world's worst frozen pizza and tasted worse.

Ordered bbq chicken pizza yesterday. Ham and pineapple pizza was delivered instead. Tried to call the store- no answer.

This is the 3rd time this has happened this year. It used to be such a good service but recently it’s no longer so good at Staples Tye Harlow Essex.

My mother had ordered a pizza for us and when it turned up 4 fully grown men had also turned up . 1 had knocked on the door giving our pizza but he rung our ring doorbell and had hit/ covered the camera for some reason but even so 4 fully grown men delivering a singular pizza is dodgy and I don’t understand why they all had to turn up to our house it was wrong and odd and now my mother is paranoid this is disgusting and I think that this is very unprofessional behaviour.

This restaurant saved my holiday food was nice just the restaurant is oversubscribed from a supply.demand point of view its become a victim of its own success

Will come back these kids deserve gold medals in culinary expertise under duress xxx

This review is based on buying a medium stuffed-crust Hawaiian pizza in Battersea. I was greeted and served by Zahid, super cool guy who made the best pizza for me and my mum. I would highly recommend this establishment.

Totally disgusting service never delivered it just made excuses after excuses and 2 hours later no food and when I complained no refund either so I paid for absolutely nothing

Interesting another review suggests they now use Uber Eats to deliver - this may explain why my order was sat at "out for delivery" for 30 minutes when I am, at most, 6 minutes away even with roadworks afoot.

A beer onboard, so I could not drive. Thought I was safe ordering delivery for a change. How wrong.

Driver called - "I followed the map I cannot find your address". On a main street, in a city, not in beyond...

Called and had polite word with store, arranged refund, 10 minutes later doorbell. No thanks, dont want a cold pizza been sat in your car for so long.

For shame PJ, rethink using Uber Eats. You used to be good, please regain!

Ordered a wheat free vegan pizza and discovered bacon or ham hidden amongst the toppings. Customer service is a joke, no refund offered, just a replacement pizza. Last thing we wanted was another contaminated pizza.

Having had an awful experience with the Watford, Hertfordshire store recently, I thought I'd check out reviews on here. I can't say I'm surprised that Papa John's has such a low rating. They used to make a decent pizza, and deliver it hot. I used them for the first time in ages (about 2 years since last order) on 8th August, ordering pizza and garlic bread for my son.
My concerns started when - following their "helpful" order tracker - it appeared as if our order was sat in the cutting and quality check phase for at least 15 minutes. Not a good start. When the order was eventually delivered, the driver appeared at our door with the boxes in his hands - no insulated bag! The mystery of this quickly solved when it became apparent that Papa Johns have now outsourced delivery to Uber Eats (the food equivalent of Parcel Force). What an utter disgrace. All businesses are in it for the money but Papa Johns have sold their soul to save a few more pence on every order.

Wrong pizza, late delivery and I only think my pizza was actually delivered because I called the restaurant and complained. The driver didn’t call me to ask for directions, and I believe they would of ripped me off if I didn’t threaten to dispute the transaction, downloaded and saved the receipt, repeatedly calling even though the delivery status was “order delivered “

Very nice pizzeria if not the best in Kinshasa with an excellent diversity of Pizzas, wings and others.. I would really recommend it if you want to taste the best!

Customer satisfaction is zero. You can’t even make a change 1 minute after ordering because they say the order is already being prepared. If a pizza takes 1 minute to make, why is the rest of the wait so long?

Absolutely terrible experience with Papa Johns.

We ordered pizza online and received no confirmation, but the money was taken from our bank account. I called the store and was told they had no record of the order.

We tried ordering again, thinking there may have been a technical problem. Exactly the same thing happened — the money was taken again, but there was still no order and no confirmation.

I called the store again to explain that we had now been charged twice and still had no food. Instead of helping, the employee was unbelievably rude. He basically told me, “If you ordered online and it didn’t go through, order through Uber,” and then hung up on me.

So Papa Johns managed to take our money twice, provide absolutely nothing in return, and then treat us like an inconvenience when we called for help.

Completely unacceptable customer service. I now have to chase Papa Johns to get my money back for two orders that apparently never even existed.

Very disappointing and definitely not what you expect from a large company.
