Booking website and subsequent communication was informative and helpful. Pickup at airport went as planned. Check-in staff friendly and helpful. Vehicle was as expected and there were no quibbles about its conditions when returned. Recommend (would book through Mode again)

I was happy with the car I rented. Though I do feel the $50 is a little steep for late pick up. It's not always easy to get the early flights.

The guy that I dealt with spoke to me…
The guy that I dealt with spoke to me like I was an uneducated woman, this was all over them not picking up the phone after I called several times and waiting on the line waiting for someone to answer to then ringing the after hours number to get through and a van sent. He called back and said wait there we are sending a van, the first people turned up and he said get in we will take you - I said we are meant to be waiting for a yellow van. Anyway long story short the guy was like you you should have just waited for us we were on our way, when you have just gotten off a flight and have all your bags and a child you take the first offer to get you where you want to go….. The car had several chips in the windscreen so make sure you take lots of photos before you drive away. He also told me he had sent me the photos of the vehicle which I never received and when I told him this again I felt like he was speaking down to me. He did apologise for the way he spoke to me but by that time I was over it. I gave 2 as the car was ok

Great car. Easy logistics.
From booking online to contact less drop off in the CBD, everything was smooth. The car was in great condition. We stayed at Heartland Airport Hotel in Auckland and the drop off to the Mode depot was super easy as they work together. Would book with Mode again.

Easy to book online
Easy to book online. Very reasonable price and i liked the options for the excess/bond amount.
I loved my car. It was very clean, tidy and drove well.
My bond was returned in a timely manner and the staff i dealt with were very friendly.
Would definitely book again through them.
