Recently bought a pair of dr martens sandals less than 3weeks at Journeys in Plaza Bonita. My daughter literally wore them about 4 times, the shoe is defective. The stitch broke and the strap came apart. I took them back with receipt original box and they refused to exchange them. They have horrible attitudes literally smirked and shrugged their shoulders when I said I would contact customer service. They do not care about their customers at all not even to try to find a solution basically we wipe our hands. So basically we are stuck with a pair of 160 shoes are ruined. Beware of buying anything from this store read over the return policy total bull crap. If anything happens to your shoes if you wear them even once they don't care and will not by any means try to help you just stand there like a bunch of idiots yes idiots...I will never purchase from this company again.

Waited for my order two weeks (said it would take 3 days) then called, didn't get any information, then the net day they cancelled my order

She and her staff were incredibly helpful and friendly!! Thank you for the great customer service!!

I ordered a pair of womens crocs on may 1st they were a pair of clearance crocs well….they shipped and i thought they would take 3-5 days to get to me when i looked after the 3 or 4 days they were still in california and i contacted journeys and i said where is my order ohhh it takes 1-2 days to process and 3-5 business days to get to you i was like why does it say 3-5 days on your website thats very misleading and also i contacted multiple times and it was always a different story one said 3-5 days one said 4-7 days another one said 5-10 days.i was not happy so i demanded a refund or partial refund and they said we cant do that well its here may 11th i received the order and i opened it i seen a hey dude box and it was completely trashed duct taped together and everything i opened the box its a pair of mans hey dudes so completely different than what i ordered i am extremely frustrated and mad and they will not be getting anymore of my money. Awful company and awful customer service. If i could give 0 stars i would!

I purchased a package of 4 women's crew socks. When I got home I opened the package, washed the socks (to remove and chemicals they use i manufacturing) and then wore a pair. The elastic at the top of the sock is so tight it leaves a deep dent in my leg and causes irritation. I am a petite person with slim legs. I cannot imagine what if would be like if I were a bigger person. The company will do nothing because the clothing has to still be in the unopened package for them to accept returns.

Change in situation, a Supervisor at Journeys Customer Service contacted me, after the fact, and the end result is that they will give me a store voucher as recompense for the uncomfortable socks. That was an nice surprise and good outcome. But if you don't like tight elastic on your socks beware.

I received my shoes with my box trashed. It was in pieces. They were for my son’s 18th birthday. Customer service would not send me even a new box stating they are not responsible for things caused by weather. Please shop somewhere else that cares for their customers.

We have bought this exact shoe before from a different retailer. As expected from Vans the quality was good and the shoes lasted until they were worn out. With the replacement pair from Journey's sometime shortly after the first month started to come apart at the seam. Because it is over 30 days, Journey's has declined to assist in any way. Buyer beware - no matter the reason, you have a guarantee on your shoes for exactly 30 days, no more, no matter the reason. I will not purchase from this retailer again.

Additionally, frustrating - they indicated at the first chat that they needed photos of both the tops and bottoms of the shoes - I had only provided the top. I could not get that photo immediately as the person in the house who wears them was not at home. In both instances, I provided contact info, order number, email, etc. It was not until I had provided everything they asked, that they said they were not going to help because the 30 days had passed. Presumably, they did not need photos of shoes to discern a date range, but they wasted my time anyhow. It did further delay us though in making a request.

Worst company I have ever seen. They created orders for the wrong address, I just have one addres on my profile. Called to cancel it, and they said they could not cancel an order. And now will have to pay de delivery fee for 2 wrong orders that I reached out to be cancelled. Avoid at all costs!

Worst company ever!!! How can you charge people money to return your products especially those that can’t get down to a store. $26 return fee for a pair of shoes where your measurements are wrong on your website is highway robbery. I will never order from this company again and will be spreading the word also.

I had a wonderful experience with this company. I contacted customer support 3/10 /2026. I asked about the status on my shoes. I saw it was still processing. I did a text chat. I was assured the item would be shipped out by the end of the day. It was as promised. It arrived today 3/12/2026. In perfect condition and correct. I would buy again from this company.

I had no problem with this company a matter of fact I put the wrong address in my shipping and they fixed it for me instantly and I received it 3 days later and I got my exclusives only to Journeys double tongue Timberlands in perfect condition.

If you purchase their sale items and buy more than one pair of shoes on sale - be careful, they will ban your account for being a "reseller". I am a customer who purchases items during their sales. My account was flagged as a reseller, even though I only purchase one size and a quantity of one pair per style in the sale. Sometimes I end up buying a few different styles, which isn't out of the ordinary when someone is shopping a SALE.

The lower level "supervisors" refuse to escalate it to anyone above them, causing the company to now be stuck with loss sales and incorrect categorization of their customers. Beyond frustrated and incredibly offended to be accused to this, let alone left with NO way to reverse this even though I have PROOF that I own every single pair of shoes I have purchased through them. Disgusted by how they treat their paying customers.

I would give negative stars if I could. Ordered shoes in Layton Ut store and was told in stock abd would ship to home in 5-7 days. This was on a Sunday 3 weeks or so ago and following Friday got email that order was canceled no explanation. Said refund would go back to my card right away. Well..called them and was told backorder with no expected delivery date. This after store clerk said they'd just got shipment in no problem when I ordered. Here we are now 3 weeks in and no refund and cannot get them to answer after multiple calls. Have emailed them so will see. It will be a long time before/if I order again!!! Highly disappointed!!! Followup...FINALLY reached someone on phone today after 30 minute hold only yo be told that they weren't able to transfer credit back to my account for unknown reasons (no contact made with me or advisement) and NOW they've mailed a check to me on 1/20/26 that I'm suppose to receive around 2/03/26. So angry...no more customer here.

Went inside the store on Dec 4th and ordered my shoes and was told they would be here for Christmas. Still no shoes. Tracking says label created, every day I check it, the shipping date changes. Customer service says they are investigating. At this point I just want my money back. This is ridiculous. I will never buy from this store again.

Placed an order before Christmas. Received a tracking email for 3-5 day shipping.
One month later, I see the order was "Cancelled". I had no notifications, no email, no idea this was the case, tracking still says "Processing".
Company seems to be run by kids who aren't responsible.
Go somewhere else.

I Ordered a pair of shoes online (12-16-2025). It was The only thing my daughter wanted for christmas. the money comes out of my account, three days later (12-19-2025) i get an email stating the shoes are out of stock and won't be available until February. You guys need to do better! If your shoes are out of stock, you shouldn't have them online for purchase. I feel so bad because im not going to have my daughters christmas present in time for christmas morning. Very disappointed!

Bought a Christmas gift for my son it came destroyed very unprofessional and very angry it was hand picked by Jose and it came from store 1991 do better….

I ordered 2 pairs of shoes for my daughters for Christmas. I received notification that they had been delivered. I checked my house, my neighbors, and all down my street. The photo provided was of concrete. Nothing recognizable. I called, emailed, texted, and tried the website to contact someone. Once I finally was able to chat with someone via mobile website, I was informed they would have to do an investigation that would take 9-12 business day, which pushes us well past Christmas. I asked if they could maybe put a rush on it, or let me pick up the same item in store, and and I was told no. The agent avoided every question or statement I made. Now I'm sitting on $250 worth of hurry up and wait for their "investigation".

tried to make a purchase, The purchased failed but i was still charged i tried to make customer support they make it almost impossible then i tried again and same thing happens i’m now down $300 and no help whatsoever i have to now file a dispute with my debit card which will take 45 days to refund my money
