Unsafe Car Seat

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Ickle Bubba and feel other parents should be made aware of the potential safety concerns.

After only 2.5 years of use, our Ickle Bubba Rotating Car Seat — a product advertised as lasting much longer — has become completely unsafe through no fault of our own. The polystyrene inside the headrest has come away and snapped entirely, which is incredibly concerning in a product designed to protect children.

While Ickle Bubba initially offered a replacement of the same seat, I refused because I have absolutely no trust in the safety or quality of this product anymore after this experience. They then asked whether I would consider another item from their website, but this was of little use given that most of their products are aimed at much younger babies, not a child over 2.5 years old.

I am hugely unimpressed with both the durability of the product and the overall resolution offered. A car seat is not something parents should have to question the safety of after such a short period of normal use.

I would strongly recommend that all parents thoroughly check their Ickle Bubba Rotating Car Seat for any signs of damage or weakness.

Car seat fault resolved with no issues

My husband bought a bundle directly through Ickle Bubba when we had our son, but typically lost the proof of purchase.
All the products we got have been fantastic and they are such great quality, however the 360 car seat developed a fault recently.
I contacted Ickle Bubba in the hopes they could locate our order, and I spoke to two people - Phoebe and Lahara.
Despite us not having proof of purchase, they were able to locate our order and have arranged for a replacement car seat to be sent out to us ASAP. The whole process was professional and quick, and we are so thankful that we are getting a replacement seat!

Would never order from this company…

Would never order from this company again. Pram arrived with deep scratches to front, clearly damaged goods. I asked for compensation/discount if I kept goods, bearing in mind cost was £209 and I cud get this second-hand online with no damage for approx £100. I took 15% refund which is something I suppose, but I wud never ever order from this company again having received such damaged goods being sold as new.

Advertised discount error resolution

Having found a discrepancy with a pricing on a Facebook website I chose to contact customer services, initially via on line chat then via WhatsApp so information, screenshot and links could be shared.
I liaised with Lahara who, whilst remaining professional, still managed to exude a warm and welcoming communication style.
Thankfully Lahara was able to resolve the issue identified and also arranged for the advertised discount (incorrectly denoting too much discount) too be applied to the purchase of the preferred stroller.
Thank you Ickle Bubba and thank you Lahara, very impressed with the service provision and ease of issue resolution.

Good product, poor delivery

Ordered online, seamless and efficient process, good price, all you wanted.
Comms before delivery was good, on the day of delivery I had an email to confirm the estimated time. That came and went. I then received notification of delivery that had been signed for, imagine my shock....and concern due to the simple fact...it had not arrived. Multiple calls between Ickle bubba who referred us to Fed EX. This is where it got interesting, Fed EX claimed it had been delivered and inferred we were lying. Door cam...nothing, rear cam nothing and most of all no pram!!
Driver claimed he had delivered, Fed EX promised to investigate and call back at 4pm...no call.
Cut to the end, at 6pm we re eive a call from a stranger who got home to find a pram on his doorstep (could've been awkward!!) And this was on the other side of town. The only thing they got right was the town.
A real shame about this experience e because the product is brilliant but I suggest not using Fed EX.

I sent it back

I sent it back. It doesnt have a bar in the middle which I dont think is very safe, also you can either lye them flat or sit them up. No in the middle. Its fiddly to collapse the pram as well. It also doesnt have a bit to fold the pram you have to put a belt around it to hold it together which is a bit fiddly and annkying and its not very stretchy.

So messy, terrible communication

Ordered two car seats during sales. One arrived OK I'm the predicted time and in good conditions, the other one hadn't even been dispatched (apparently something had gone wrong during label creatiom) and I had to chase it to be sent. Until here customer service was prompt and precise.
The new car seat arrived (of course later than expected at this point) in a heavily damaged box, and the courier had thrown it over our fence in a rainy day. Nice one ,FedEx.. I contacted ickle bubba customer service because at this point the car seat was potentially not even safe, since there is almost no packaging to protect it inside the box. They agreed to replace it and asked preferred day to arrange collection of the damaged one. They then disappeared for a week with no confirmation or date. I chased the issue again in the same email thread and no reply. Eventually tried the WhatsApp chat and another person took over and agreed to arrange collection for a certain date I could be home after half term break. No confirmation email received. Then in the evening I get a message from DPD announcing collection the following day (not my chosen date). To avoid further delayed I had to rearrange my date to make sure I could be home. In the meantime, no message or communication about the new car seat was received. Another person replied to original email thread offering to arrange collection (!).
I explained several times we are away next week but communication between people there seems quite inexistent so at this point I'm worried it will be delivered while we are not home... Or will we receive it at all?
No reply on WhatsApp so I replied to the email thread again. No idea what is going to happen.
I have a baby, I am sleep deprived and exhausted, I really do not need this kind of stress and I don't need to chase an item for ten days after spending quite a lot of money for it.
You are a brand for new parents. You can do better than this.

We apologise for the condition the parcel arrived in and the confusion around the collection arrangements. We can see that different contact details were used across email and WhatsApp conversations, which unfortunately did contribute to some crossed communication. However, we appreciate this should have been handled more clearly and consistently from our side.

At present, your replacement car seat has not been ordered after noting that you are not yet ready for this and would like to get back in touch when you have made the arrangements needed. As soon as we do have confirmation of this, we will of course be placing your order as quickly as possible.
