On each occasion I pop into the cafe at the garden centre in Winchester the ladies behind the counter have been absolutely lovely.
They are courteous and very helpful and the produce is super.
A truly uplifting experience!

Hillier Garden Centre in Hemel Hempstead is the best garden centre I have been to. The staff were so helpful. One of them went around the garden centre with me with recommendations and advice on what plants to plant and helped me take them to the till. She was wonderful. I am so happy with all the plants I have bought and planted. She gave me a lot of gardening advice. Unfortunately I don’t know her name. Then the young man at the till who then helped me take all the plants to my car and fitted them in for me instead of paying for delivery made it all so much easier for me. This is my favourite Garden Centre now and I buy all my plants from there now. Very good selection of plants and easy parking and a cafe. Highly recommend.

We don't have Hillier Garden Centres in Cumbria unfortunately, but some of the website offers are superb. I got 80% off on the Bulbs promo. I only paid standard delivery and it was with me 24hrs later. So impressed!

We visited Hilliers garden centre in Bath today as a treat for my sisters Birthday, what a disappointment, I ordered a sausage sandwich, I was told it would be approximately 20 mins which I didn't mind as I thought oh good cooked fresh, but oh no, when it came not only were the sausages not cooked properly they were cold! I took it back and was told they would do me another, when it came this one was also luke warm and microwaved! I expected for £8 to have a fresh cooked sausage, very expensive for a cold, microwaved mess, won't be going back again!

I recently visited the cafe at hilliers in Winchester with friends. We have been going there for years. There were signs for a private parking company Smart Parking that I don't remember seeing before. the catch up was good but one of my friends has got a parking fine for being there over 90 minutes and another friend will probably get one. We won't be going back. That does not make for a relaxed catch up. Hiller's made a very bad decision in letting Smart Parking operate on their premises

My first purchase with Hillier. I bought online 2 5 litre pot agapanthus and 1 3 litre pot cistus. They were delivered promptly and plants packaged well and in thriving condition I will use Hillier online again

Trying to find out easter opening times after hours for Lechlade. Phoned up and was created with recorded message to say that they opening up after Xmas on the 28th Dec!
Not deterred I went on Easter Monday.
Ordered sausage and bacon sandwiches which were cold when they arrived.

Lady pushing trolley round to pick up plates dropped some napkins looked down at the them and just carried on. They were still on the floor when I left.
Finally ladies toilet had one cubicle that
wouldn't close and no lock on.
Based on this visit we won't be returning for a meal. It's a shame because this lets down the garden centre which is very well laid out albeit a bit expensive.

Visited the pevensey Eastbourne store, used to have a fantastic local butcher now been replaced with a generic meat market of which not even the butcher knew where his meat was from. Imported rubbish 🙏.

Garden centre remains q plethora of choice if not a little pricey.

The Horsham Hilliers guys are outstanding. They’re all extremely hardworking, friendly, warm and knowledgeable. The Shop Manager, Megan, is phenomenal. She goes above and beyond and nothing is too much trouble. A real credit to the company! The staff are why I continue to shop here and not with the competitors.

We drove all the way to the fleet hillier garden centre to suddenly find large boards at the entrance stating no dogs!!! This has always been a dog friendly place!!
Goodbye hillier garden centres, no dogs then no profit from us!!!

my husband and i popped in for breakfast and was really looking forward to it. there was a man looked like repairing a machine and 1 man in front of us there was 2 people eating and a woman on the phone at a table (i found out at the end this was the manager} the man in front of us wouldn't wait any longer and left (i do not know how long he had been waiting before we arrived) we waited 10 minutes or more to be served and still was not, the woman on the phone never even asked us, approached us, said sorry nothing! so on the way out i informed her that i will be leaving this review absolutely atrocious service, and as for customer service don't even go there

Hampton in Arden branch - staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Items on the expensive side, but they do have some very good offers. Car park could do with resurfacing. Sadly, went for their restaurant offer of half price fish and chips this month but they didn’t have any fish - bit of a drawback really!

Customer service excellent. Visited the Aldermaston branch today and was served by super friendly and professional man, (5167) who was a delight ! Well done and thank you. His colleague on the other till was also great with his customers. Very refreshing indeed. Management should recognise this please.

Had a Sunday Roast, cooked OK, but COLD. Gravy was like water or dirty dish water.
Staff in the kitchen used their fingers to plate up food, no gloves. Very little veg for two people. Plates very cold. Expensive for what it was.

I have just come home after taking advantage of your delicious breakfast offer at Hillier's Newbury. This is actually my third sitting! Every time, despite it being so popular, I have had a top class, hot, breakfast and been served by such lovely staff. Josh in particular has kept calm and smiling despite the restaurant being overwhelmed with customers. Such a friendly and professional team. A benchmark for all eateries to aspire to. Thank you so much.

Hillier garden centre Hailsham is good but the cafe is overpriced and poor quality. We ordered 2 cups of tea at £2.50 each, plus a tuna sandwich £8.99 and a toasted cheese and ham sandwich £9.99..total £24. My brothers sandwich arrived but no sign of mine…as we waited for my order, my brother had finished his food and I then noticed a plate on their counter but couldn’t see what was on it. we managed to alert one of the lads cleaning the tables that I was still waiting for my toasted sandwich. We watched him go to the servery and it transpired that this was my food. We then watched as the man used his fingers on my sandwich to see if it was still warm them bought it over. He said it was still warm but would I like another one to which I replied yes. Moments later the hot sandwich arrived. We think it was reheated as it was too quick. Another female customer came over to us and said she noticed the plate on the counter much earlier before me. On the next table, the elderly couple before us walked up the servery to complain as well. Plenty of staff but service terrible and food dreadful and certainly not worth £10 for a plastic ham and cheese sarnie!! If you are looking for a decent garden cafe, I suggest Stavertons… cheaper and good quality.

I used their online service to buy two plants in their sale. Very pleased with the well grown plants, well packed and delivered by overnight service with pinpoint tracking at a very reasonable P&P charge.

Taking away teapots. Not a good move. By the time you get your breakfast your cup of tea is cold.
