Just dreadful, what happened to this garden centre that used to be the wonderful Rosebourne. The restaurant was terrible, with a dreadful ordering system, expensive mediocre food, half of it served lukewarm. It used to be a lovely place with waitress service and homemade food. Now it’s becoming a self service cafe.

NOTE; Love of a Pound note, yes it's not the cheapest and busy so one has to be prompt and abide by certain rules. Can't fault workmanship but that sharp practice does contrast up against our loving Pets.

Go to the hilliers in three cross and I absolutely love it,take mum in the cafe there and love the brekkies.
Great plant choice

Restaurant mince pies. My god what made you pick this and think customers would love them. Go to a supermarket, any supermarket and my their own brand mince pies. Theirs have double the filling and come in packs of 6 for less then what you sell 1 for.
I had one and seriously couldn't taste any filling. It wasn't a one off either as my partner had one also and it looked just as pathetic filling wise

I was a regular but no more. Inadequate staffing and today no hot food!!!

Unclean table, 30 min after ordering arrived cold tea cake, miserable enviroment. Was much better under previous chain

To late for breakfast and to early for for lunch, not a single sign up to tell you that they don't start preparing your food till 12
but of course happy to take you money

Visited Hillers Three Legged cross restaurant very disappointed no options for Gluten free customers. They offered me a biscuit . Not at all able to cater for people with dietary needs

I have visited your Newbuery centre a few times and although quite expensive comparred to others, found it a pleasant experiance until...... visiting your "restaurant? Unfortunately staffed by two very young and inexperianced people. buying a couple of very expense coffee's (£7.40) found them to be made from obviously very Cheap (very cheap) beans? The coffee was replaced and with and extra shot of beans but yet still tasted disgusting (One up from dirty water). Your establishment has been let down by supplying coffee of a substandard quality. Like me, many customers will be dissapointed to purchase stock from you knowing a refreshing beverage will not compliment Hilliers quality experiance. Hilliers-Dont sacrifice quality for profit! You will be commiting retail suicide?

Bought a discounted bulk bag of bark online from Hillier Garden Centre. My order was processed; money debited from my account and a delivery date confirmed. A day later I received a call informing me that my order had been cancelled due to THEIR mistake with the price. Very disappointing service and a complete lack of appreciation from the manager to the inconvenience caused by their mistake. Would not recommend!

We order a bulk bag of Rolawn on line with a despatch date of "within 10 working days". We had no communication from Hillier and found a bulk bag on our drive one day, which had been dumped without even ringing the door bell.
Appalling in this day and age.

To be fair, they were lovely and apologetic, and sent a sorry voucher, but the system is clearly not set up for online.

Hampton in Arden.

We've enjoyed visiting this location over 40-50 years mostly enjoyable. But oh boy whatever has gone awry?

First visit under the current ownership. I was meeting up with a friend so had a good look around for 10 to 15 minutes. A number of staff around but not a single one acknowledged my presence with as much as a 'Good Morning from any of them 😕

First cheerful greeting came from the lady in EWM franchise. Next were the lovely ladies in the Café.

Doubt I'll bother to revisit.

Shocking online presence! Received an email saying my reward vouchers are now only available online. So I tried to register my account, following the prompts on Hilliers website. It crashed, it had several error codes, it redirected me to fences and trellises and it failed to recognise or connect me however many times I tried.
Blue Diamond Garden Centres are significantly better in every way, especially the catering offering, so I’ll be leaving Hilliers to their dreadful non-connectivity.

We had an Afternoon Tea today fir 4 at Hampton in Arden Hilliers.
We were so impressed with the service and the quality of the contents. Even though,as a member, I had an offer of a half price deal, there was absolutely no compromise on a full payment one. Praise needs to go to the staff of the restaurant who attended to our every need.

Sarah and Terri at Hillier Garden Centre Three Legged Cross were superb! I had some challenges with plants purchased and they took the time to solution everything for me! Also explained the difference between sushi seaweed and plant seaweed which was helpful! :) Both went over and above to ensure I had what was needed and all plants purchased are now thriving as a result of their help. This meant several returns to the centre for different extras and more help and both of them couldn't do enough for us!

Plants are nice - if expensive - but unfortunately after spending almost £400 there I have been left with a £100 parking fine for being there over 90 minutes (an amount of time you’re likely to exceed when at a garden centre). Hillier’s staff did not inform me of this fine and won’t help appeal it. Extremely disappointed with how I’ve been treated and won’t be going back.

Mark the restaurant manager was warm and welcoming. His level of customer service was five star. Thank you Mark, the scones were exquisite.

visited Aldermaston store for breakfast, not to busy as early doors, ordered a bacon sandwich & a light breakfast with 2 coffees which were very good, however it was a very long wait for food, at 1st they gave us the wrong order, this seemed to happen with a few people. then after another long wait we were served a very cold breakfast which was sent back but replaced very quickly. the bacon sandwich was cold and i suspect had been left under the hot lights as it had a somewhat hard semi toasted texture on one side. not very nice at all. We will not be going to this garden centre again. very poor experience

Called into the cafe near Chichester late this afternoon. Very quiet except for the three staff behind the counter who were eating, drinking, dancing and singing - actually they were just behaving like children. The washing up and clearing appeared to be left to one poor lady.
No supervision as far as we could see. Oh and tea very poor. Won’t be going back and we are very local.

I just received a parking fine of £100 from SmartParking for parking at your garden centre in Winchester. Hillier, you really need to make the 90-minute parking limit more visible, especially with a café on-site. I have never been charged £100 for visiting a garden centre before, so I can guarantee that this will be my last visit to your centre. Your "membership" card is now in the bin - I don't want to be a member of your club!
