Do not go to haven holidays blue dolphin site in Yorkshire. Talk about chav land. also can not get booked onto anything no swimming no restraunt for a meal on the night or drinks said they were fully booked but there was tables empty. We had a caravan that was full of damp which made the bedding feel wet was awful the worst site I have ever been to.

What a Nightmare Company!
I certainly would NOT recommend Haven Holidays! We have had several families come to our caravan over the last few days only to find out that they have been SCAMMED. I have had to deal with irate people when they’ve been given the details of this van and been scammed. We went to the Reception only to be told that they had known for the last few days and didn’t do anything about it – except ruin our holiday – if you can call it that. We had already been to explain that we had no bin for our rubbish within the van, - ignored the first time and then told “if we have one” the second time we informed the Office. Well their housekeeping / management needs sorting out then.
I asked for compensation for having our holiday ruined only to be told – sorry, but we don’t do compensations
My advice is – DON’T BOOK HAVEN HOLIDAYS

They are the worst company to deal with when you have issues and complain.
Sent 5 emails and had no reply.
Don’t want to deal with issues just take the money and trying to recover their losses by allowing you to by passes then you find out you can’t book anything as it’s all full. And you can only book in the entertainment once in a week. The rest of the time they expect you to line up for hrs hoping to get in.

Horrendous experience with Haven holidays, given a check in time of 6-7pm which I thought was ridiculous with young children. I was told by one advisor that you can arrive early and use the facilities but then I received an email regarding my check in time which said if we arrived any earlier then we’d be asked to leave! When I rang up to question this I was promised a call back, that never happened. Just found out that advisor actually wrote on the notes that I came on the phone very angry which is completely untrue. Very poor customer service, will not be making any future bookings and also looking to cancel the other bookings I have.

Paid £2,000 for a weeks stay at Weymouth Bay paid for stay and play could not book restaurant any time, only could book swimming twice in the whole week of our stay. Could not order kids pizza as staff had been sent to another site! Went and ordered fish and chips from on site took hour and ten minutes! Absolute rip off have been going to Haven for years holiday was nearly twice the price of any previous stays we’ve booked just disgraceful

The caravan was filthy at Kiln Park when we arrived. Hadn’t been hovered, crisp down the side of the sofa and also the grill hadn’t been clean! That was what we noticed on first glance. We’re a family of 7, so I know it will get trashed soon. But we wanted it at least clean when we arrived especially with COVID.
Booked the park and play, I only happened to notice when I put in our car registration we had to book activities. There was no mention of this anywhere beforehand.
We could only book one session of swimming. Kids were really disappointed as they love the pool. This slot was only Friday night whilst the evening entertainment was on. So had to miss this.
All other activity slots were already booked up.
On Saturday we went to the evening entertainment. However Bradley Bear only did 2 songs and it was over before we’d even had our drinks! Kids were bored and we had to quickly rush our drinks and take them to the arcades instead.
The wait for takeaway food was insanely ridiculous. We bought food and cooked on Sunday. There was nothing in the shop to eat but found a limited range in the co op nearby.

Overall for the price we paid it felt like a complete waste of money and I won’t be returning again to any Haven holiday.

Having holidayed with Haven many times previously we were really looking forward to our 10 night break away..... However, when we booked online there was no option to book a stay and play holiday. We didn't think it was a problem, we just thought we'd buy passes when we get there... Only to find you can't buy passes on site. You can't book any activities or use the facilities without passes, the only places you can use are the shops and food outlets. You can use the restaurant if you can manage to book a slot... We didn't manage to as we didn't want to eat at 8.30 in the evening. We completely understand things have to be adjusted to meet covid standards but considering the price of the holiday, this time Haven has fallen way short of what we think you could reasonably expect. If you have a holiday booked in the near future, our advice would be to cancel!

Haven have quadrupled their prices, taking advantage of limited travel. They’ll be the first to complain people aren’t coming back next year.
We paid extra for their ‘Stay and Play’ package only to find out none of the activities or entertainment were available when we arrived. Nearly £1000 for 3 nights in a static caravan.

This is more to give information than a review, just returned from golden sands, we were staying in a private caravan that was excellent and clean, wrap around decking new this year so I was very unsure wether to buy passes or not, would have cost around £200 for 2 adults and 2 children so we asked at reception what was open they said everything but you had to book, needless to say we didn’t buy them, I don’t understand why people who have bought them don’t report them to trading standards, they are selling an experience and not delivering, anyway that’s for someone else.
So we needed to explain to the kids that there would be no swimming or entertainment for them, at least not at haven.
They wanted to go swimming so we booked in to Louth swimming pool £16 for all four of us, we went to fantasy island £68 went to the beach, we had good weather, we went to Skegness open air pool less than £40
On an evening we went to the tow bar next door the kids loved it and made friends.
We had a good holiday but not with haven we did it our self cheaper and better.
I think I spent £2 in their shop for milk, boycott there arcade, shop, eateries and outside bars and they’ll have to change. Unfortunately that’ll be too late as we will all be going back to Spain.

Absolute rip off.
Just returned from 3 day break with family 6 adults and 3 young kids. Two caravans at Berwick each costing £640 for stay and play place is a joke and a complete waste of money. So disappointing for the children.
Firstly couldn’t get into caravan until 5pm on the Friday had booked live lounge for Friday evening to be faced with standing in long queue to get into a jam packed hall with 3 aged rockers singing at such a volume it was painful and certainly not age appropriate for young families had no option but to leave and the price of drinks was scandalous. Went for food in the restaurant on Saturday afternoon food was very basic and substandard.
There was limited information available about what was on so had to seek very apathetic unhelpful staff to be told the entertainment for kids ie Bradley bear etc were in self isolation so would not be available for duration of weekend. Surely this could have been remedied by other employees??? They did have a magician to entertain the kids for an hour both on Saturday and Sunday but they were very disappointing a poor show. The evening entertainment was diabolical some science show wow needed ear defenders kids were scared had to leave again. Had booked for 1 hour swim on the Sunday which kids enjoyed but having paid an extra £300 for stay and play I wouldn’t say that constitutes value for money.
Wasn’t sure what happened on the Sunday night but was in live lounge waiting on singer to come on as thought it was on from 730 until 930 so was in around 830 when everyone who hadn’t booked a table for later part of evening was being asked to leave so had to leave once again.
Overall we made the most of being away and ensured kids enjoyed the outdoors as in the beach and park etc but wouldn’t recommend this place as a family we spent over £2000 and felt ripped off place needs a total overhaul and to be managed better won’t be back.

Shocking absolutely robbery we paid 1200 for a week and only aloud to book to go swimming once this is a joke I would never ever book a haven again park Dean do not have such a ridiculous rule

This being my first haven holiday , I was deeply disappointed by my experience. Firstly I got a check in time of 7pm to 8pm. I rang and explained I had a 1 year old which should have already shown on my booking and this time wasn't suitable at all . I was told nothing they can do about it and it wouldn't be changed. I then got to my caravan just before 7pm to enter and it stinking of wet dog , although the place was clean and tidy it stunk. My 1 year old was stinking from the carpet which smelled of wet dog the seating areas stunk which once sat on for a while made me stink. The smell lasted all 3 nights we were there. When reading up on activities it stated their would be a children show in the live lounge for the kids which i thought great a nice change for my 1 year olds to gather with other children and have fun, this didn't happen we went to enter on the sat as the friday night we couldn't do or go anywhere due to the late time we could get into the caravan . So the sat we went to go into the live lounge to be told sorry you have to book slots to enter or stand and wait and hope someone cancels then they will be a queue so you may not be able to come in . I was told to go between the time 12 and 2 the sunday and book for the live lounge , so that's what we did. We had to stand in a queue and waste time of my remaining day to get to the front to be told sorry we are now fully booked. I was more than welcome to stand at allocated times outside the live lounge and hope that i would be let in due to a cancellation, so after queuing for over hours during the day you now want me to queue later in the day on the off chance i mite be able to get a slot and to be only allowed in for 45 min to an hour then we must leave again. Nowhere at all is this stated when booking and wasted hours of our stay. I paid extra for a stay plus pass which in my opinion was for nothing as the child entertainment i wasn't able to access was a complete waste. I was then told due to the late check ins i could stay till 4pm the monday of departure which didn't seem to be correct as i was still asked to drop off keys and depart for 10am, so my 4 day holiday was a 2 day holiday and when i complained about this was told i paid for 3 nights and that's what i got. I hired 2 peddle bikes with a trailer to have staff speak about how unsure they were on how the trailer was connected and to have the trailer come off half way through using it and was very lucky I was in a safe place and doing a safe speed when this happened . Your website states your holidays are suitable for all ages for a variety of activities and there was next to nothing for a toddler to do even the play parks around that areas were not suitable neither was the soft play that clearly stated from ages 3 or 5 years+ ,so if i'm honest the holiday was deeply disappointing and if this was any experience to do i wouldn't be recommending to friends and family unfortunately. couldnt book anything from caravan as no signal for internet so had to walk up to the main parts to get signal to even book total rip off

Went to Wild Duck for a 4 night stay. Couldn't check in untill 5pm so missed one day. Then we had to book everything from archery, swimming even going into entertainment venue. No communication about anything was looking forward to fish and chips on 1st night, was shut for the week😒. When we did book a swim we could only stay for 1hour. Everything was fully booked. Entertainment was pitiful. Luckily weather was good otherwise we would have been shut in caravan for 4 days. Caravan wasn't much better very cramped, toaster broken shower broken seating very uncomfortable. We paid double for this break away, and felt ripped off as the same holiday is half the price next year. Won't be going back.

Booking system ruined it. Couldn’t get the times wanted, fully booked or they just can’t be bothered to be helpful! Felt like they made it as confusing and inconvenient as possible as the app for booking didn’t work as you would expect. Beach combing swapped for pond dipping but only notified after turning up! I tried getting a meal a few times but even that was wasted time! Bad service never going back! Swimming pool had bits and changing rooms dirty.

Was not told before we arrived that we had to book into everything, only to be told when we arrived on the Monday nothing was available until Thursday so 4 days worth of passes were wasted and non-refundable. Very poor communication and customer service, over priced I will not use heaven again

Booked to stay at Perran Sands in Cornwall, we booked a comfort plus chalet for 10 nights at a cost of well over £2000. It was nothing like the pictures online-grotty brown carpets, doors painted to with an inch of there lives so they were difficult to close. Shower room and oven needed cleaning before we would use them.
Haven seen to work on the principle of charge a fortune for sub standard accommodation and then charge a fortune for everything else on the site! Pretty disgusting really-we left early as we got to the point of not wanting to give the park anymore money for sub standard goods and service.
The Staycation in Britain will only become an option if companies like Haven start providing good value for money and stop trying to grab more money at every available opportunity.
I won’t book another holiday with them again.

We are currently at Primrose valley and it has been a disaster from go and we only arrived yesterday.
Despite being disabled we have been put in a caravan with no parking anywhere near. We are right in the middle of a block, it couldn’t be any further from parking.
The booking is inconsistent. On the website it calls the pools one thing but on site they have another name and at opposite ends of the site and nothing on the booking page says which pool is suitable for what age.
Despite being told to book for entertainment at the show bar we turned up to be told they had stopped that, it’s back to a free for all and tough it’s full. If I had been told it was a free for all I might have chose to go somewhere else off site or arrive earlier. Cue 2 disappointed children and an adult who has staggered to the venue as wanted to responsibly have a couple of drinks and not have to drive. Besides there were non disabled in the disabled bays anyway so I have already learned these are a token gesture piece of carpark artwork and not something taken seriously.
I chose this park because I came here as a kid and had good memories. We usually go away in our tourer but it eventually bit the dust over lock down. I am self employed and have not even had Christmas Day off. This has been my first time off for a year. Not so much as a weekend just to find out your booking is meaningless, your disabled policy seems to be “let’s have a laugh and see them struggle”. Your website doesn’t even have the opening hours of the mini market on. Seriously.

I've been to about 6 Haven sites in the past 6 years, normally good haven't had any problems but since this covid check in times, it's ridiculous. I understand it can get quiet busy but certain caravans use to have own check in time, so why not stick to that.

Deluxe 3pm &
Standard 4pm. I understand people use to turn up early for holiday but you can still stop that, just make times a bit more reasonable, Keeping people in cars like now, you miss a full day if check in is late, whatever your check in time, you should have the option to check out at that time, not 10am.

Booked to go on the 30th off August,but recently read there stupid rules about booking everything on there app and not guaranteed to get what you want and not able to get in the park site at all until 6pm,,so you lost a day there what we paid for,we rang up and asked for a refund what they are doing,,you can do this up to 3 days before your holiday is due,,our advice is to ring and ask for a refund soon as you can,,never gonna book with them again,hope it effects there business badly
