Haven Holidays 

Just had a much needed rest at the Lydstep Village Park near Tenby. We have visited and stayed at lots of Haven parks over the years but WOW this one is a breath of fresh air. Much smaller than the others, better laid out and every caravan looks out to the sea. Beautifully kept and felt very prestigious!

We stayed in a Platinum with decking which is our go to as we do find some of the cheaper ones aren’t quite as modern.

Ours looked straight out over the sea making the photos stunning.

The park itself is not really equipped for children, ok for the little ones if they like a play at the small park area or swimming. Nothing else for them but for us that was great as we like the quieter life now lol

Staff are friendly and welcoming which makes a change from other parks.

The park is located in a great position to explore the coastline in Pembrokeshire which is stunning.

There is a small shop, a laundrette . A bar and restaurant (a little soul less) so could definitely do with a takeaway of some sort. Apart from that, thank you Haven!
Downside: took nearly 6 hours to get home, so but of a mission??

Since the age of 5 I have been coming to Devon Cliffs and enjoyed my experience every year, however. This year has totally put me off booking again, We spent 1 week here and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine picking the best week. On arrival to our caravan I noticed the shower curtain has mould on it, which is very concerning if I had asthma or any other health conditions. Every morning at 6:30 am I would go down to the beach to watch the sunrise and find myself picking up shards of glass on the beach which is very dangerous as there’s a lot of children running on there and if a child did run over it they would definitely need stitches. I did wonder why there wasn’t any litter pickers to clear the beach early hours ready for the day? Luckily they did not need anyone to clear the beach this week as me and my dad was doing it every morning! No WiFi or signal we have never had a problem before but this year we was without internet which was an inconvenience as I needed to use my phone to call family and friends while away and use WhatsApp.
Trying to make light out of a bad situation we decided to make some food… however, there’s only very very very basic necessities and you will need to bring your own spatula.
You wouldn’t think you was in a pandemic as the hygiene level is beyond poor we had caravans next door arguing about how dirty it was and didn’t even spend the night! Cobwebs everywhere and even the sofa bed had dirt, rubbish and dust from previous users (I have photos as proof) the holiday itself was almost £500 which is a lot of money, in my opinion for a week away and I don’t understand why the money isn’t used to make this park better? Personally the only thing I found clean was a matt they sent for the door which was brand new and I was tempted to sleep on that.

What a fantastic stay we had, we took our toddler for a family holiday, the park is set within walking distance of a beautiful beach, the park is well maintained and the entertainment was great too, over the 4 nights only one of the live acts was worth missing. Jo stone was good, cjillusions was great, I can’t remember Thursday nights entertainer but he was great too. The team of staff in the night time were fantastic Natalie and Millie, were amazing but special mentions to Alex and especially Brittany who were just above and beyond our expectations our son had a truly fabulous holiday.

Haven Holiday are a bloody disgrace. I had the worst holiday ever at Haggerson Castle, dirty caravan, long drinks, food queues.
Absolutely the worst place to go, not relaxing one bit.
Haven Holidays you are a disgrace!!!
I asked for a refund on my return and was offered 10% knowing I had no choice to accept.

Love Haven wouldn't stay on any other site

We have been coming to Haven for a few years now, We love the sites, always clean and tidy. Good choice of food in the onsite shop. Most situated within a small walk to the beach. Caravans have always been in a good state of repair and spotless and when something has gone wrong like the toaster has broke for example, they are extremely quick to rectify.

When ever we have had a problem for whatever reason, they have always been understanding and extremely helpful.

We have had two occasions where we have had personal problems which would affect our ability to be able to take up our booking, when I have contacted them they have always been extremely understanding, very helpful and resolved our problem so that we have not been financially inconvenienced.

Well done to all at Haven, Great Service and sites.

We have never been to a caravan park before but booked for a break as the weather was set to be good. The caravan was a prestige new model and was immaculately clean with fresh, well laundered linen on the beds when we arrived. We are surprised by the equipment inside but you got have to provide towels and loo roll yourself.
The park was well kept and there is a good distance between the caravans.
The staff were friendly and very helpful with a great guy greeting us at the barrier - 24 hr security so no need to remember an entry code.
I left some clothes in the caravan and realising what I had done, called them up and they were really helpful - located the clothes and helped organise delivery back to us.
The fish and chips were freshly made to order and delicious. We paid for the the stay and play but to be honest, this was the one thing we were really disappointed with. The entertainment space and cafe/ grill are very uninviting and basic and the cost of the entertainment pass was way overpriced for the standard of the actual entertainment on offer. We did go and sit on the outside decking of the cafe/grill in the afternoons for a drink which was lovely as we had great weather.
It’s a nice walk around the park (it goes cx on and on!!) and along the front of the beach but the actual beach is pebbles and not really comfortable for walking on. All in all, well kept site, clean caravan, friendly and helpful staff but poor entertainment.

Haven are a complete rip off now and just say it's because of covid.booked a stay holiday no passes.after been stuck in caravan all day due to rain wanted to go to the club for night out.phoned reception to see how we could do it.they wanted £60 for an hour and half in club.that is complete extortion.wont be using haven again after 30 years using them.

Food is crap, only got half the food on the menu, then when the food does arrive nearly an hour later it not worth the money, plus the fish and chip shop on site sells frozen chips with its fish. Absolute joke.

area not.Toaster not working,1st replacement also faulty,2nd ok.Tv remote no back only one battery.
This was replaced.Both bathroom doors
with bad squeak.Sorted myself.No
shelving in showers only soap dish in
one shower.Other shower dish missing.
Double bed uncomfortable with springs
and side access too narrow.Bedroom tv not watchable as it could not be tilted.
Lounge seating could be more comfortable for platinum price.Have
booked for 2022 at Martin Mere but
considering cancelling.

if you are a smoker.do not go to rockley park.the outside smokeing area is a joke.two tables by a childrens play area.no ash trays.they treat smokers with contemp.but happy to take your money!!!

Stayed at the Seashores in Yarmouth, would recommend to anyone looking for a base for the race meetings and close enough for a £5 taxi ride into the town center or you can catch the train choo choo for £2

Cancelled my holiday - Underhand tactics to make more money, I pay £66.50 so far,all got back for refund is £6.50 , haven totally a rip off!. Not even half of my money that I pay to be refunded to me , how disgraceful ! . No wonder haven have a very poor review which nothing surprise me.

Received a letter today (14/09/21) to advise us that our holiday on 25/10/21 has been cancelled by Haven. This is because our bank card they had on record had expired, yet we have had no reminder or correspondence to advise us that the outstanding balance was due. We are advised that they are 'not technically obligated to chase payment' and that they are also keeping our deposit. They have sold our booking to someone else, presumably at a higher value than what we booked at the very beginning of 2021 (hence the reason we are being quoted the 'technically obligated' term...Greed! We have no issue paying in full what we owe, and have tried to do so but are told "sorry, there's nothing can be done and it can't be escalated".
Appalling underhand tactics.

Marton mere Blackpool. Where to start…. First caravan was manky. Floors not cleaned, dirty finger prints on touchpoints, splattered flies and their blood left. Smell of smoke so bad in the double room it was un habitable. We swapped caravans with a full refund for the cleanliness guarantee, which we are waiting on a refund over 14 days now even though it states 14 days from the start of your holiday on the website.
The showbar can be booked once online before you arrive for a 1 hour 45 min slot. We booked for 8.45 and we’re kicked out at 8.30. Then you have to wait about for 45 min to get in the next slot at 9.15 for another 1 hour 45 min. Then wait about for the final slot. We didn’t bother waiting about. You can book on-site between 9am-11 but only one slot can be booked. Confusing and stupid! They must be missing out on so much revenue!
We booked the stay and play which was over £100 for a session of swimming and 2 x one hour 45 min in the showbar. Not value for money at all! If we weren’t getting a refund I would complain about this. Been 3 weeks almost RE refund and the customer service is horrendous! Lie after lie! I’ll never go with haven again and we use them 2/3 times a year.
Overall we will not be returning!

I have been to haven over many years and had no trouble. We booked for seaton sands. No matter we’re you go do not pay for the passes as they are a rip off!!! We could only book once for swimming and once for evening entertainment which you were only allowed in for an hour and a half!! We were not told this… if you wanted another evening out you had to que to see if no one turned up for there seat?? I’m recovering from operation so could not stand for any length of time… also you had to strip your own beds?? We were in a standard caravan my son was in a deluxe one and they did not have to.. I complained and requested compensation for the passes I paid for… I was told I should have complained on site at the time… they said I would have been able to get more swimming and evening entertainment… I think not by the length of the ques!! So no compensation.. people don’t waste your money on the passes go to local swimming pools instead and spend your money outside!!! Waste of money

I went to perran sands holiday park, because when I looked at the website there are pictures of a gym. Trip advisor gives prices to use the gym. When I got there they said "Yes we have a gym, and it is open, but no you can't use it." To use the gym they expect me to pay £50k+ to buy a static caravan from them. I would have never gone to the site if I was aware of that. Also the TV signal was terrible, most of the site has no WiFi and no 4G and no phone signal. Would never go there again and would recommend other people not to bother either.

We were advised to book play passes at Haven seashore resort, great Yarmouth so we spent £150 on them. So far we've been to the swimming pool once and 1 hour in the entertainment. Everything you have to book and pay for so very very disappointed. £5 for 5 minutes on a trampoline £12 for 2 people for 1 hour on a go kart. We won't be buying the play passes again.

Do not use haven. So disappointing that they tell you that you can book on site in emails days before you arrive yet when you get there swimming is fully booked. Which was the only reason I booked Thorpe Park haven for the water slides. We planned to stay on site but because we couldn’t we ended up going home the second day as I can plan days out from home if I wanted to travel each day. First and last time at haven. So many families disappointed that they couldn’t go swimming. Please please reconsider using this company. They are making lots of money by continuing offering activities that they cannot provide. They would only refund the play pass even though we could only check in at 6-7pm on the first day, we have young children so that meant, they needed to eat dinner and go straight to bed. First time possible to try book for swimming was very early the next morning, by this time everything was fully booked.

People need to get a life, cannot believe the reviews, we have had a fantastic time and from the accommodation to the meals at the restaurants it's been brilliant. Primrose Valley has been great and a special thanks to Peter in the restaurant, your a top guy. Many thanks
