The worst place ever, total scammers
Don’t even know how no one takes action and do something to ban them so they can stop robbing people
Never order from that place

They look like great products! But you order them and they never arrive! And they never tell you that the items are out of stock and they don’t give you your money back!! Scam company AVOID AVOID

I am not one for leaving bad reviews on any business, but I hope others read the reviews on this company before ordering.

Ordered 2 pairs of boots on Friday 19th July. Got an order confirmation. On Monday morning still had no dispatch email so as I needed the boots urgently I emailed the company to ask when they would be posted.
Got no response.
On Tuesday 23rd I emailed a second time to cancel the order and asked for a refund. I got a response this time to inform me that the boots weren’t actually in stock (same excuses as given to other customers.)
Offered to pick something else, wait until September for stock, or get full refund. I asked for the order to be cancelled and refunded, again. Only response was that they would begin to ‘process the cancellation and forward to the accounts department for refund.’
By Friday 26th July I still had no refund so I raised a case with PayPal.
Jonny issued a refund at 5:09pm on Friday 26th July, three days after the order was cancelled, and now on Friday 2nd of August I still don’t have my refund.

If you read previous reviews this is a regular occurrence with this company, and the delay in issuing a refund is a disgrace. Previous reviews state that they are actually able to issue a refund straight away.

Good service and great after sales service

Ordered item on 20th June. As I never received an arrival date I contacted GB outfitters. They stated stock would be in following week and sent immediately. (Sound familiar to other reviews). I have since emailed many times,but all have been ignored. Maybe because I emailed a request to be refunded. So it’s been almost a month and nothing. And they don’t answer the phone as well.

Very frustrating as i never complain. So for me to write this review you must be a really bad service.

Ordered some trousers online that were shown "in stock" on this companies website. Needed them for an activity I have booked 10 days later. 7 days later no contact whatsoever from the company. I chased them up and was told that I would get the trousers 2 days later. On the evening before the delivery date, I still had no confirmation that the trousers had been dispatched so cancelled the order and asked for a refund. I found the trousers in stock with "Forelock and Load" and £70 cheaper. I ordered from them and got the trousers before Great British Outfitters responded to my email cancelling the order. No explanation why they didn't dispatch the trousers as promised, no apology for failing to dispatch, no confirmation that they will be processing a refund or timelines for when that refund will be with me. I'd strongly recommend that you avoid this outfit at all costs.

I like the clothes however I do not like the fact that a discount is only offered AFTER a purchase has been made ie as an incentive to make another purchase. Had I known that a discount would be offered in this way I would have bought only one item at my initial purchase, saving up greater expenditure for a subsequent purchase. This manipulation is a sure way of destroying customer loyalty rather than cementing it. It's a no win situation as the postage on two separate purchases would negate the point of the exercise. Absolutely infuriating. I don't like being manipulated.

Very easy to return a faulty heated jacket, it was returned very quickly with a solution to the problem. Cieran was very helpful. Would definitely recommend them.

Absolutely shocking service. Took money for a product that was apparently in stock to then be told it has to come from denmark and im still waiting for my refund. Stay well clear from this bunch of cowboys.

I had a problem with a new pair of Harkila screw wire boots. Following an email to GB Outfitters, received by Cieran, I was asked to return the boots to GB. Within days the repair was carried out and the boots returned to me. Well done GB and particularly Cieran. Thank you.

Oh dear! Ordered 31December. No item sent. Chased several times. Fobbed off by emails promising to get stock and send by return. A lot of nonsense. I cancelled order after 3weeks and requested refund. No acknowledgement. Had to open a dispute with PayPal to get refund. Really poor company to deal with. Takes orders and payment but doesn't have stock. Will not order from this company again. Very poor experience.

I bought two items, which when these arrived were excellent.
As to the service and customer support:
My main contact was ‘Ciaran’, whose support through a rocky delivery scenario was impressive.
DHL who was the appointed courier, was a nightmare, the details of which I won’t go into here.
All I can say, is that Ciaran’s stoic support in getting the goods eventually delivered, was second to none. He really DID go the extra mile for his customer.
And if he did this for me, he is likely to do it for all his customers, so consider yourselves in good hands if you decide to purchase from this company.

I ordered my eight pence and received it in the wrong color after a couple of weeks . They promised to send me the right one but still haven’t received it here one year later. Totally ridiculous! Customer service keeps on giving an excuse about it is not in stock and promise to get back to me but they don’t. I have asked for my money back and written to them several times but they don’t respond. Stay away from GB Outfitters as they are not a serious company worth dealing with.

I ordered a waxed hat which was processed and arrived really quickly. Unfortunately, the hat was too small so I contacted the team and they gave me all the information to return it for a larger size. This was also actioned with speed and with no issues. I would highly recommend this company and wish to thank them for being so helpful, knowledgably and efficient.

As of 16th of November my order from 27th of October has still not been sent. After email communication the company cannot tell me why my order is not being sent. I then asked for a refund but they claim that they just sent the package so they cannot give me a refund. My order on their website still has not changed and they cannot provide any tracking information. I have created a dispute with PayPal in order to get a refund.

I ordered some boots and had a very minor issue with them being in stock but it was sorted straight away, there customer support got back to me in a few hours and were very informative and friendly. They were well packaged and when the delivery was sent it only took two working days for them to get to me. I personally will be using them for my hunting wares in the future.

Excellent service and great communication from the team. Very prom return an exchange system.
Recommend retailer.
