Fictiv has been easy to work with, diligent, and has delivered two batches of prototype product right on time that was nicely packaged and exactly what I ordered. If you have a critical project, I would recommend them.

Fictiv engineers are great!
The team at Fictiv worked with me to get my part made correctly. It took a few weeks of back-and-forth between our engineering team and Fictiv’s quality, engineering, and manufacturing teams, but in the end, the product was high quality and worked exactly as designed. I’ll be working with this group again whenever I need machining work.

I would recommend it
The website was very to enter the information. Prices for the oversea aluminum machining is good. Remember to order enough parts to save on shipping. U.S. based machining prices are similar.

If using Fictive, plan for +30 days of buffer to account for internal issues with your order, or use a different vendor.
The original order was missed, then there were multiple delays getting the order re-entered. Finally, the parts got stuck in shipping missing my deadline. Originally I had over a month of buffer that was used up due to mistakes on Fictiv's end. At no point during all of this did Fictiv have any sense of urgency in correcting their mistakes.

Top-notch CNC prototyping
I have had a great experience working with Fictiv on my last few prototyping orders. In my experience their capability to automatically analyze "real" prints for CNC parts is a cut above competitors, enabling instant quotes for parts with features that others can't accommodate for automated, instant quoting.
Where the instant quote tool has stumbled on requests for things like specialty finishes or materials, the customer service has been great.
So far my parts have come in on time, to print, and the pricing is very competitive.

Excellent Work
I approached Fictiv after a poor experience with another manufacturer. Fictiv made my challenging parts exactly to the drawing tolerance and shipped on time. I will definitely use Fictiv for future prototyping needs.

FICTIV came through
I needed prototype parts that were more like the real parts for a critical sales presentation. The other services couldn't provide what I needed but FICTIV came through! They helped me expedite the parts and got them to me in time and we nailed the presentation.

My experience with Fictiv
All of the parts I had machined had a fit and finish that met or exceeded my expectations. Also the tolerances were better than what I called for. The parts were just tested on their end use configuration and performed extremely well. I'll be back for any CNC work I need done
