Great customer service, no nonsense and very helpful from a technical perspective.

I have 30 years experience with regular skateboards and so took to the GTR easy enough. New riders may need a while to adapt to this things grunt; leave it on 'Eco' while you find your feet. I ride a 40 to 50 minute each way commute most days on my Carbon GTR. I've yet to encounter a paved hill it can't haul my 96kg + pack up. On the way home I take the dirt tracks by the creek. Here over dirt and down grassed hills it is a joy to ride. I'm an essential worker that bought the Carbon to avoid public transport during the pandemic. It kept me sane too. Despite hard riding I haven't had any maintenance I couldn't handle myself with the help of the youtube videos from evolve. My one complaint is the remote. *Hard* stacks or a good soaking slay it. I'm on my 4th remote in about 2 years. However, this is a minor issue. I still can't keep from gushing about this board.

I have had the Evolve Stoke for over 2 years. I liked it so much I bought the GTR last year for the off-road experience. Evolve make a fantastic product but more importantly they provide excellent support. Throughly recommend it for surf training, commuting and overall fun.

Love my Hadean great value for money and a very refined board IMO.
Evolves customer service is outstanding.

The Evolve Hadean Carbon skateboard on the other hand has a few gotcha's that make it less than ideal.

- The controller is expensive to replace and technically you can't actually purchase replacement controllers since they only make 1 per board.
- Point to customer service at Evolve and partners for selling me a used controller they had lying in the warehouse when the original was stolen.

- The grip tape on the board peels away very easily, I am using super glue to try keep it on the board (less than 3 months old)

- Avoid riding anywhere near water, the remotes easily leak water under the glass panel (even just a few drops and it's all over) so off the back of recent floods, I was caught in the downpour for less than 1 minute and that's all it took to prevent the LED Display from working on my remote. (thankfully the actual controls still work or I would be looking to try source a 2nd remote)
- A waterproof remote would go a long way!

- The LED strips on the sides of the board started dying very soon after it was purchased, they must have taken a bump when I was riding down a curb and that's all it took to put them out of business
- I use the All Terrain wheels

- Turning Circle is horrible
- The board has no tail kick and leaning to turn, I get it up on 2 wheels and still can't navigate half most 90 degree turns in the space a pushbike or scooter comfortably can (needs approx. 3m x 3m to turn)
- This has actually put me in a bit of danger a few times where it failed to turn in time and nearly resulted in accidents, so now I just have to pick up the board when I am approaching most corners and carry it a little.

- Riding at night or in hazardous weather (fog etc.) requires by law to have lights on the front and back of the board.
- These do NOT come with the board and must be purchased separately. (sorry vampires, if you wanna play you gotta pay)

Ok so that's the bad stuff, now to the good bits

- It's really convenient to use (throw on helmet, grab controllers, go time)
- Charges quickly
- Gives really good travel distance
- Has saved me a ton of cash in the long run, since I can avoid using Ubers now unless it's raining

Overall I would still recommend people to buy one - It's fun, a solid replacement for Ubers on dry days, and the actual motors and mechanical aspects of the build are solid.
- However only do so if you can afford all the extras you need to actually use it and don't mind the repair costs you will inevitably be making along the way.

I am a retired surfer and my feet are dodgy from years of skateboarding.

The evolve board I bought is remarkable. It is better than surfing and there is no need to get wet !

You can work it as hard or as easy as you want, and the board is super responsive.

Evolve were very helpful when I smashed my remote screen and explained the process of was was to happen making it all very easy and stress free! These guys do a great job and nothing is a bother for them answering all my questions.

I purchased the stoke. Absolutely love the board, great for carving and sliding. The service has been absolutely great, really fast and reliable. I sent the remote back to get fixed and it was back in no time. So many ways to do up the boards also.

I have had my Carbon Hadean for a month now and loving the 15km ride to work on the bike path. I also take the dog for a run and any other excuse I can think of to simply ride with a smile on my face. With the All terrain wheels I go everywhere (have had 2 punctures) to keep exploring my limits. As a snow skier I saw skating as the"dark side", but no I love it!

After launch delays, 1 defective return and 2 recalls within the first 4 months I have been under whelmed by my Hadean experience.

skating has been my way of life since I could walk I have hundreds of boards and over the years it does get harder to skate due to injuries and getting older iam 47 I was introduced to the bamboo gtr a year ago when I skate all my worries and stress just disappear iam back in the zone and makes me feel alive the best thing I could of ever done was purchase the evolve bamboo gtr I can carve the board like its a kick board it handles like its on rails well balanced and superior design thanks evolve

After reading and watching all the reviews, etc., I settled on a Carbon Hadean with AT wheels for my first electric skateboard, after having never ridden one previously. My rationale for the wheels was because the roads where I live are very inconsistent and for the most part not smooth. I went with the Hadean over GTR because I live in a very hilly area and didn't want to have issues of overheating or not being able to make it up a hill. I have gotten used to Sports mode, but Corsa still catches me by surprise if I start the day's skate in that mode. I can ride around in Corsa comfortably once I've been skating for about 10-20mins in lower modes. I usually cruise around in Sports and switch to Corsa when I approach steep hills. The board totally makes it up any hill (and often continues to increase speed, even on a ~30% incline), so long as it can keep traction. Top speed on level ground seems to be around 38km/h, but my average top speed is about 25km/h. That's just where I feel comfortable for most of my commutes. I finally took the speed limiter off after about 5 weeks of riding, which was perhaps 120km total distance. One of the other reasons I chose Hadean over GTR was that many GTR owners commented that they outgrew the board after about 6 months. I don't think I will outgrow the Hadean that quickly; I will probably become more confident, but it is a very well-made board and is super comfortable to ride within your limits. The Hadean is a bit of an investment, but I definitely haven't regretted my decision and I can see myself being satisfied with the board for a long time to come. Totally worth it.

I've ridden Evolve and other boards for years. Always liked evolve boards but nothing compares to my "Hadean". I thrash the hell out of it and I'm very impressed. Also customer service is beyond impressive which makes a big difference.

Yep - order arrived within a few days. Love the skateboard - use it most days. Videos are super helpful. Awesome service.

My wife and I bought new GTR boards.
She bought the Bamboo and I bought the Carbon.
We had never ridden an e skateboard before and omg we totally love them.
It took a little to get used to but after that couldn’t stop us.
We now ride them every weekend and go somewhere different as we love exploring.
We would so recommend this to anyone who either likes to snow board or surf as the feeling is more like riding a snowboard than a skateboard.
We have had great customer service from the demo ride right through to picking up the board.
Any issues you can call and they are very responsive.
So I definitively recommend Evolve if you are looking to buy from a company that is not only passionate about e skateboards but have a great reputation as well.

After purchasing an evolve carbon gtr, I’ve had great help and customer support with regards to servicing my board, billy was super friendly and helpful, He made me feel welcome and I knew I could trust that he’d do a fantastic job in helping me, in which he did. I love how friendly the uk team is, which creates a great atmosphere for the PEV community. Can’t wait to purchase the new hadean, knowing I’ll have full support from the team.
